I'd have to give them another chance.
Nice people, good location, reasonable value. Free glass of wine every afternoon to hang out and mingle. Very dog friendly.
Someone was given our room and walked in on us. Turned out out was their second try, because their first room wasn't clean. The air conditioning filter was frozen over because the filter was filthy, so we didn't get A.C. until the next day. Overall nothing special, but for the location and price, and considering these were hopefully just flukes, didn't seem like a bad place.
The rooms were spacious with a small kitchenette!
Way too much!
The room was a decent size. I liked that it had a balcony. I liked that it had a bathtub and shower.
I was allergic to something on the bed. I found that the bed was very uncomfortable. The room was very noisy so if you cann't sleep with noise, then skip this place. I was on the top floor and every horn blow and sirens are very loud and very often. Construction was also very noisy at 6AM. The circle has a lot within walking distance, but there wasn't a good selection of food places adjacent to the hotel. I think parking was absurd at $40 a night, especially when you give them your ticket and they forget to get your car....and when you finally get it back you have a nice dent on the door. It's like a hotel trying to be fancy but it's not fancy enough for the cost. I would say find something better.
Comfy bed. Spacious room. Service by all working there was awesome!!
Great location, bad smell
We liked the location and the space in the room.
Our room had a full kitchen and someone cooked hamburgers. Every time we opened the door, we were hit with the smell of cooked hamburger. The staff came up with Fabreeze, but it didn't really help. The room could use an upgrade and there was no ventilation in the bathroom, nor were there any chairs on the balcony.
Great Location, Affordable
Size of room was great. Walkable to the Tidal Basin/DC monuments/White House and to Dupont Circle area.
I booked through an outside travel company and had to call to have a charge reversed.
Maintenance is poor
Size of room.
Comfortable beds, lots of space in the rooms, and fantastic location.
The facilities could use some updating - the carpet in the room was quite old, as was the paint on the walls.
Great service from the front desk, Ross was fantastic. Large room, extremely comfortable bed.
Great service with nice accommodations close to attractions.
Noisy and run down
Got no sleep with all the sirens; needs updating--dirty curtains and rugs--yuck!
Mini suite with separate kitchen, living room, bedroom. Convenient location.
Bed was too soft. Clock radio was difficult tp [rpgram.
very friendly and accomodating staff, very convenient to walk to the facility where I had business
Hotel staff were great, very helpful. Carpets could stand cleaning/replacement. Overall the $85/night rate was incredible deal in the district.
My booking.com reservation was not received by the hotel. They, however, did honor it.
Dimension on the room
Restaurant close, The prive was really to high during the week
Large room, balcony
Cheap renovation, substandard materials and poor craftsmanship. The large and small appliances are just the cheapest on the market. The room I had was poorly designed and poorly cheaply put together. Wireless internet did not work for my entire 3 day stay. And staff kept telling me that it was working, even when 5 or 6 people would complain in a matter of minutes. No staff seemed able to correct it. Many of us sat in the lobby and connected to a neighbour's wireless connection, and the staff couldn't understand that that was a problem.
location, courtesy and helpfulness of staff.
there was renovation (elevator) going on, which was not mentioned.
Good location for metro. Very large room. Good cooking facilities.
On a noisy roundabout with many emergency vehicles. Rooms a little tired.
Amazing facility. We opted for the corporate suite. We would be staying there four nights and needed a quiet respite at the end of the day. Suite had stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans, coffee maker, two televisions and a balcony
The staff were friendly, polite, the room was clean, well designed and tastefully furnished, the in room internet worked well and allowed me to keep up with work I had to complete. The hotel was also centrally located and accessable to the Metro. I will be using this hotel again, I do hope they have special rates for repeat travellers.
Centrally located with quick access to the Metro which made site seeing easy and enjoyable.
Parking, at over $20.oo per night was a bit high, espically since my SUV wouldn't fit in the hotel garage and was parked on the sidewalk (per the direction of the hotel staff). It seemed like a bit much to pay for valet service considering they never moved or accessed my vehicle for me.
Near to the subway
no internet without lap-top. The television in not a handly system.
