Weiden in der Oberpfalz Hotels

The hotel is actually inside the old city wall. At the rear of the hotel, the inner city shops and gasthuases were very nice and in easy walking distance. The rooms were clean and quiet. Elevator access is a huge plus.

It is almost like going home now when we stay at Am Tor. It is so convenient for this beautiful town's walking street with it's eating and drinking facilities. The Euro 2008 Football coverage added to the enjoyment and had none of the thuggery of an English equivallent. The parking is a bit tight, but luckily we didn't have to move our car from when we arrived until we left

The room was neat & tidy. The breafkfast served was not of "4 star" quality. I would like to have a watercooker in the room.

The room was OK, breakfast was good and that's about everything which was positive. The restaurant wasn't open during the weekend and in the city center there wasn't much open either. Some information about open restaurants or recommendations would've been welcome.

Nice modern room, the wireless isn't free but very reasonable, and the excellent breakfast buffet. The restaurant was pretty pricey. The walls in the rooms are a little thin. I clearly heard the guest in the next room visiting the bathroom.

Nice room, comfortable bed, terrible pillows. The resturant and bar had been fully reserved by a wedding, something I was not told before I arrived. A bit inconvenient to have a large party one floor below, and they did not stop at 9pm...

The one young lady who worked the front desk (for what seemed always) was very nice, knew enough English to help at all times, The heat from the radiators was not on and we needed to have portable heaters, though they were very quick in responding to our needs. The only reason a fair and not good was given was due to the heat. The rooms (jr suite) was good sized and the maid staff were very friendly
