Pros: This a wonderful ‘reinvented’ vintage hotel that has been totally upgraded. It’s immaculate and our room was detailed to the nines. The rooms were small but very cozy and comfortable. Incredible value, and I will definitely come back and recommend it to others.
Cons: The rooms were on the small side, but that was offset by its many charms.

Pros: It was quiet and clean
Cons: Went to hotel for a weekend get away. Hot tub was broken, just a kiddie pool was open. Staff was slow, went to restaurant, waitresses were slow, food was poor quality, TV satellite kept going in and out even though it was a nice day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very nice. My daughter loved the water park and arcade! The location is perfect for the Amana Colonies. If you stay here make sure you go to Pinos pizza across the street. They have amazing pizza! Staff member, Janet recommended us to go over for their pizza. We were not disappointed! Had a fabulous time here in Williamsburg and the Amana colonies!

5.0 Okay

6.0 Good
Pros: Nice pool area for kids. The bed was comfortable. Only acceptable hotel in the Wiliamsburg, IA area.
Cons: I reserved a suite expecting a sitting room separate from the bedroom (my understanding of "suite"). What I got was a room with a sofa. Granted, it was roomy, but I paid for a "suite". I later found that there are actual suites in the hotel. The desk clerk's excuse was that the hotel was full.

7.5 Good
Pros: Everything was satisfactory. And the breakfast was good; a nice bonus.
Cons: The "Fitness Room" was really lacking in equipment and space, and also filthy. Not sure the last time anyone had attended to it, but it needed a good, deep cleaning! Also, having some wipes available to wipe off the equipment before and after using would be great, not to mention, some towels. Most fitness rooms do supply these things.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Price
Cons: Location was bizarre. Room was musty. Fixtures were old. Water pressure was very low.
6.8 Good
Cons: Air conditioning units vented into the hallways making the halls quite hot.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable. Affordable. Easy to access
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff
Cons: No toilet paper, hallways miserably hot
5.8 Okay
Pros: The linens and towels were clean.
Cons: The appearance was kind of clean but worn and old, the only building standing in an area where everything else was torn down and the concrete and driveway were still there. Was kind of creepy for 2 women traveling alone.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, the location was good for what we needed for one night.
Cons: Minor damage around the hotel but nothing major. Still a good value.
6.5 Good
Pros: Overall the stay was fine. We were there less than 12hours. We’re looking for a cheap place to stay. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: The black water flowing from the faucets for the first few minutes the water ran was a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Manager was very friendly, would definitely stay again.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Price and location
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We opted to pay $101 for a hotel room 25 mins outside of Iowa city vs $350 in Iowa city when we were in town for the Ohio State game and it was a great decision. I called the hotel the morning of our reservation confirming our reservation for that night and letting him know we would be in late and not to give away our room! Lol. He assured us that would not happen, and that lots of people would be coming in late from the game, and stuck by his word. Very friendly in person as well, very quick and easy check-in process. Room was clean, the hallway was interior which I was a fan of. Beds were comfy. We didn't stay for breakfast because there wasn't much of it...waffle maker was the only hot item. Yogurts, fruit cups, hard-boiled eggs, juice and coffee basically. Little town with not a lot to do. I believe their "downtown" had a Mexican restaurant, a sports bar/restaurant (which we went to for dinner the night before--great little spot! We all 3 ate dinner and each had an alcoholic beverage for $34 before tax/tip), and another restaurant and that was about it. It was great for what we needed which was a clean, reasonably priced, nothing fancy hotel near Kinnick stadium. I would stay here again for games! Save yourself $200+!
Cons: Breakfast was pretty pathetic. I was hoping for more hot options...And the coffee in the lobby was extremely watered down. We went back to our room and made our own with what was provided in the room.

2.5 Mediocre
Cons: No TV. No internet. Water was brown and smelled. The toliet barely flushed. Cracks in the wall. When i tried to sleep I did it with the lights on. Also I put a chair in front of the door.
4.3 Okay
Cons: There was no hot water at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was wonderful and managed by great people. Margaret provides a nutritious free breakfast to all guests and even offered to cook my eggs! Will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: We showed up before check in time and they allowed us to check in early free of charge. The beds were pretty comfortable if you looked past the nasty bedding.
Cons: Very outdated, everything was literally from the 70s. The toilet did not flush, rooom was not clean, bedding had cigarette burns, no working ice machine and the water was not drinkable (for real they had culligan water in the lobby for drinking). We were scared to eat the breakfast because we were afraid that might be from the 70s too.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hospitality and breakfast! Very clean and new owner is updating the building. Great value for money in a quiet location.
7.5 Good
Pros: We cooked our own eggs. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Everything was good.
7.5 Good
Pros: Prefer more options and didn't want to cook own eggs
Cons: Water was rusty-looking from sink faucet so drank water from bottles received at ck-in. Toilet didn't flush/fill, just needs new innards. Bed was comfy, dated room but no odor and quiet so good for a night stop. Staff very friendly.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, location and price.
Cons: Unable to shower, water leaking into buckets in hallway.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The price the beds were comfortable
Cons: There was no hot water all weekend, they said they were fixing it but had to take cold shower all weekend long and my daughter didn't take a shower all weekend and was only offered a 20.00 discount for the inconvenience.
4.5 Okay
Cons: Things felt and looked tacky and sticky. There was poor ventilation so the air was not fresh.
4.2 Okay
Cons: The entire facility was dated. Everything needed to be cleaned and updated., Could not find vending machines or ice maker. My room was on the second floor, and the floor in my room creaked as I walked over it. TV was on Dish network, and card giving the station locations did not match what was on the TV. Also the second night, there was cloud cover and only three of the twenty channels were available.
