The room The service The price
I liked everything
The owners were very friendly and very helpful. They were her accommodating in helping my aged parents who were with me, adjusting their booking to a ground floor room and setting it up for twin beds. Breakfast was excellent and so was the service. I would happily stay here again and hope to get to in the future.
There was nothing not to like about the Willowsmere
The room with the four poster bed was lovely. The second room was also lovely. The staff were friendly and the place very clean. We did not have breakfast as we were going out for lunch. The beds were all comfortable.
The third room was much smaller and very hot. The bathroom was also much smaller and you had to be careful not to burn yourself on the towel rail when using the sink.
Immaculate decor; very welcoming; everything in the room even though it was small; plenty of parking; only 5-10 minutes walk from centre of Windermere.
Would have been better if breakfast was available earlier. (Earliest was 8.30am) Appreciate that probably only affects people travelling for work rather than for pleasure.
The welcome, friendliness, accommodating, clean, coffee and tea in room
If i have to nit-pick, the bed was too soft for me and unable to bring take-away food
