The Hampton Inn Salt Lake City-North hotel in Woods Cross, Utah is just eight miles north of downtown Salt Lake City, off I-15 exit 315.We are 10 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport, Temple Square, Lagoon Amusement Park, Clarke Planetarium, City Creek Mall, Station Park Mall, Vivint Arena, Salt Palace and outlet stores are all within minutes of our hotel. Our Hampton Inn offers free hot breakfast each morning from 6am-10am. We offer our On The Run Breakfast Bags for those on the run and warm cookies every evening. Our hotel amenities include a hair dryer, coffee maker and iron and ironing board in every room. Our hotel has a heated indoor pool and hot tub, free WiFi and a business center, gym, guest laundry services, King Room with whirlpool tub, Family Suite and Lagoon amusement park, golf and and Ski Packages. Pros (+) The staff is excellent, friendly, and courteous. The location is practical , being right off a major highway. The immediate neighborhood is industrial, and not inviting
Cons (-) The breakfast is extremely basic. Except for the morning, the coffee is always lukewarm during the rest of the day, not hot. The room is basic. The carpet may be clean and vacuumed everyday but because it is old, it never looks clean. In addition, the coffee maker in the room was located in the bathroom, which is an odd location for such utensil.
