Cheap, safe and clean in a good location. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. Stayed here a handful of times and would again.

The shower made this high pitched squealing noise after a minute of being on and wouldn't stop.

Breakfast was great, staff was friendly. Decor and deck were nice.

Beds uncomfortable, marks on bathroom mirror when it fogged up made it look like bath didn't get a good cleaning. Thought it was overpriced for the comfort level (hard beds and bad pillows) and lack of view.

Hotel was not expensive compared to others. I made reservations only 3 days in advance during busy vacation season. Front staff was very courteous and helpful. Free breakfast was generally good, but since it was free, it was even better.

Beds were not comfortable. Very squeaky. Room was small for a family of 4 (two small children). Maid service didn't even show up one day. If you plan lake W or Mt Washington, expect to drive a bit. Room could use a small fridge.

The unit was very spacious, king sized bed with jacuzzi, very clean, lovely view and very quiet.

The person who greeted me at check in was not friendly, did not smile once, just seemed like she was going through the motions. She was not welcoming at all.

TV area, surroundings and fireplace area, although all you could play were VHS tapes as the equipment was very old and there are no TVs in the rooms.

The room was very small; what they call 'cozy' is really miniscule. You could barely walk around the bed and the closet was behind the bed. There was no way to regulate the heat and the room was way too hot. It was very noisy late into the night.

The pillows were too fat--I awoke with a stiff neck each morning. The bottom sheet was too small for the bed and kept coming up. When we went to check out there was no one at the reception desk and when we located someone from the dining staff he told us we'd have to wait 20 min. for someone to show up! When she came in she was very cranky and unfriendly. Our experience has sworn us off old inns.

Good location relative to where I was working

Don't ask for a wake up call. You'll get a gruff "use the alarm clock in the room".

It was a short stay, with a full day of prep for the Rugby festival and golf and saturday's early start for the rugby. End of stay

Easy access to I-93. Good weigh station on your way to the north.

Quiet, pleasant, easy going staff.

The rooms are not fancy but clean and comfortable enough. The location is fantastic and the little town of Franconia is very cute. The hotel's surrounding gardens are very pretty as well. We had an issue with our wi fi and the staff worked quickly to fix it.

The rooms could be updated and more bedding is needed in the colder months.

Blind in the bathroom stuck open giving no privacy. Staff didn't know the opening hours of the only store in town 1 mile away. Décor was tired but clean.

Convenience to Plymouth State University. Clean and comfortable room

A little pricey for a very basic facility. Soap and shampoo are too basic. Bar of soap breaks apart during use.

It was located close to Plymouth State University and the room was clean and it was just for an overnight stay.

The accommodations are average. The room is dated, with light fixtures that are in need of replacement.

Excellent customer service. The breakfast was excellent, the room was very clean. Also, it included pet friendly rooms. As long as it has this level of service and pet friendly room options, we will keep coming back to this great hotel!

It's on a major route.

Door lock did work properly and the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on. The management has a bad attitude towards it's customers.

Owners are wonderful, small restaurant and bar on-site.

Nothing to be done about this, but this is on a main road. This makes it super convenient, but also a bit loud for sleeping.

The location and ammenities at Waterville Valley are excellent. So convenient.

The chamber maid never made it to our room on the Sunday morning of our stay even though we were out at a reasonable time.

I really was disappointed with fishing at the lake. They need to stock more often. My kids wanted to go mostly for that reason.

We like that they had activities for kids and their buffets its good too. Rooms were clean and loved that we were sorrunded by mountains

When i checked in they didnt give me any info about the resort, we missed the kids activities the first night, but we asked and did the activities the second night. The kids were very happy

It was cute and the carpet was nice and clean. I enjoyed sitting out on the screened in porch. I also loved the free coffee in the morning from the keireg.

Excellent location. Central to all of our excursions. Very good staff. Well maintained grounds.

My wife was concerned about the air conditioner in the cottage. Couldn't quite keep up on the humid day. Also she thought the mattress was hard. I could sleep on a rock in an oven so it didn't matter to me.

This place just sums up New Hampshire: beautiful (especially the abundance of flowers), friendly and offering lots of options. This is not a place for people who want ultra-modern furniture and amenities, but I'm pretty snotty and enjoyed myself immensely.

Great location, about two miles from Loon Mountain ski resort. Centrally located and within walking distance of several good restaurants. Room met expectations for our family staying for a ski vacation. Desk staff very courteous and helpful.

Only one entrance and our room was the very last one on the end of the building. There were other doors to the building, but they were all marked as fire escapes only - perhaps so that management could control ski crowds who may tend to bring excess gues

Smelled very musty. Furnishings very old. Place had seen better days. Certainly would never have guests!
