8.5 Excellent (667 reviews)

Featured amenities include limo/town car service, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free valet parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: Food was great, ambience was great.
Cons: It was our 2nd visit in 9 mths and we were expecting a warmer welcome but it was rather blah. High room rates, higher expectations you would think. I dont think they have the record of our previous stay. Maintenance works going on at the rooms opposite ours on day 1, abit noisy. Probably wont be back again in a long while.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The service rendered by the staff was great, the room, entertainment, bed and amenities were awesome, the in-room private bath with the scenery was cool, the drum performance resonates and finally its location near to Wulai Old Street, Waterfall and Scenic Area are good plus points.
Cons: The only negative for both my wife and myself would be the food. It is something which we did not enjoy in a positive good stay. This was the reason why we rate the value low. If the stay can be without the breakfast and dinner, it would have been really nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is much to do within the hotel, the rate includes afternoon tea (with an in house performance), an elaborate dinner, supper and breakfast! There wont be any chance to be hungry for sure. The room was very clean and the view was nice. The spa experience was very enjoyable for me but not so much for my husband, I guess his masseur isnt as experienced but Lisa was wonderful! There is no couple room so we were placed separately, male masseur for him, female masseur for me - the package is pricely tho. You can even rent DVDs from the reception if you are bored. To top it off, the private bath was awesome. The entire experience has been very relaxing, we didnt have time to venture out of the hotel to the nearby Wulai Old Street. Will definately return, everyone is so personable and made the entire experience very welcoming.
Cons: Nothing much, some reviews here were quite negative but personally we love the place and enjoyed our stay very much.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Incredible rooms, spa services and meals. Convenient shuttle to/from the nearest MRT. The architecture of the hotel blends in very nicely with the surrounding site. Mostly, the staff couldn't have been more thoughtful in making sure we kept an ineffable memory of our first wedding anniversary!
Cons: Still a bit expensive, even for a unique experience like this one.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I love my stays here as it’s very quiet and surroundings are full of nature
Cons: Reception and operator 0 , every time I called no one answered
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very interesting and unusual design of the hotel. Beautiful compliment, CD with music. Unexpected is what I love. Great views, dinner and breakfast above all praise.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The spa is world class.
Cons: The hot spring feels like hot water only. Not hot spring water at all.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Unfriendly and not service oriented staffs upon arrival
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: From check in until dinner was wonderful, the only bad impression is, the hotel served me with a soured orange juice for the breakfast. I asked the waitress immediately, she told me the juice was from yesterday and said the hotel has a regulation that she needs to serve customer with something from yesterday and consume it first. I am surprised that such a nice hotel serves customer with soured food. Now I feel very uncomfortable with my stomach. I claim for full refund of my money back.
Spring Spa Hotel - Wulai District - Building

8.3 Excellent (877 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Spring Spa Hotel in New Taipei City (Wulai), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Wulai Old Street and Wu Zhong Creek Waterfall. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and a water dispenser. Free self parking is available onsite.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked the hot tub spa. I liked the design of the new building... but it was starting to fall apart.
Cons: Extremly low maintanance of the whole building the room itself and the furniture. Paint peeling of the walls. Chair falling apart. And most disturbing that as we packed to leave the following morning, a huge live cockroach was under my suitecase. I took photos of all the above and sent a detailed letter to the hotel. They did not reply.
7.5 Good
Pros: spacious.
Cons: Occasional noise from the heating system. Breakfast served rather late, choices are very limited and so was the amount offered.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service and room size. Great view from the room.
Cons: Breakfast was good but not fantastic
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A great place for relaxation.
Cons: Toilet is a little dim.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The staff at the front desk are very friendly and really try to be helpful. Breakfast was efficient and quickly served each morning with a beautiful view of Wulai Mountains. The staff arranged for our taxi to the airport and offered a fair price with a very safe driver.
Cons: For visitors without a car, the location of this hotel is a bit further from Old Street. The distance was not too bad, but there are no sidewalks for pedestrians. When traffic was heavy, the fumes from cars, buses and motorbikes was quite unpleasant and dangerous. This hotel does not offer a shuttle service to and from the main tourist area, which was a disappointment. We rented two units for two nights. The bottom unit had an ant infestation and neither were very clean for a "spa" hotel. The bottoms of the baths were a little moldly....ugh. We were also very surprised that they did not offer daily housekeeping, so we had to ask for extra towels and misc. items. The hotel itself is directly next to the dam which can be quite noisy at night for light sleepers, and their view is blocked by large trees, so there is not much to see from the room. On our second night, we had requested 3 massages. They offer 50 minute sessions for 1000NT$. The first started at 6pm and ended at 6:50....he was rushed out so they could begin with our second appointment. The next began at 7:00pm but was finished by 7:28....! I received a call to come down for the last session at 7:42. We ended up cancelling our last appointment. It seems that they outsource their massages and the woman giving them was quite rude, even pinching my friend when she asked for more pressure.....haha! Funny, not funny~. Overall, a three-star hotel at best and for the price, not much value.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A very pleasant little hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Having a private spa in our room was very nice.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room and the public hot spring pools
Cons: The hot spring water in the room is not hot at all.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: all the equipments are satisfied with our purpose for relaxing for hot spring . the bathroom area is large enough for enjoying a harmony hot spring .
Cons: can provide a little bit snacks for customers that can eat after enjoying amazing hot spring
9.3 Excellent
Pros: They were accommodating to us since we were traveling with infants, they even provided a baby bath tub
Cons: The bathrooms had wood flooring, which doesn’t do well with long term wetness and we found fungus in some areas.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hot spas
Cons: A long hike from the bus stop

7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast is good. But it's not included in the room charge. The lobby area has good layout with nice view and comfortable seating.
Cons: There is no seating sofa in the room. The safe deposit box (in room) shows "low battery" and cannot be used.
7.5 Good
Cons: Breakfast choices were not that good. Hope they will improve the quality and selection for the Breakfast buffet
7.0 Good
Pros: The bedding is comfy, the design of the hotel lobby is impressive, staffs are friendly and helpful
Cons: breakfast selections are very limited. I reserved the dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food there didn't meet my expectation.
7.5 Good
Pros: The private hit spring tub inside the room is excellent. Very worthwhile to stay
Cons: It appears that the wall is thin, I could clearly hear the running water sound and TV from the adjacent room
7.5 Good
Cons: The breakfast selection is limited
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff are super friendly and helpful. Especially those in the restaurant. They tailor made special menu during my three nights' stay to make sure I'd enjoy different style of cuisine. Their dinner is super with 8-10 courses. Very delicious. Public Spa is very clean and well facilitated.
Cons: Will be great if they can provide massage service
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Various breakfast
7.0 Good
Pros: peace and quiet, good for refuge from busy life.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Japanese minimalist hot springs resort - very good location by the river. We loved the hot springs facilities - will go back for sure.
4.8 Okay
Pros: The public bath is nice and well designed though nothing fancy and no good view of the river.
Cons: Receptionist doesn’t speak English well and not very polite
Full Moon Spa - Wulai District - Building
5
8.1 Excellent (633 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Full Moon Spa in New Taipei City (Wulai), you'll be steps from Wulai Atayal Museum and Wulai Old Street. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Onsen was pretty fine! Location near old street shops was nice. We had booked a different onsen for during the day but if you’re staying overnight here you probably don’t need to. It has a spa in the room and the public spa. If you’re staying in Wulai it’s worth walking from this hotel to the little train and seeing the waterfall and then taking the cable car to the park.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wood floor and friendly staffs. Delicious dinner and breakfast.
Cons: You need to call Front desk and have them release the hot spring water, so you have to wait until the hot water cool down a little bit then you can finally get into the bath, take too much time and work.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good dinner set. Staff are willing to serve even they can't speak English.
Cons: No shading along the way to room. Mystery entrance so you have to have someone guided where it is.
7.5 Good
Pros: I like the hot spring is built inside the hotel bedroom. The hot spring was available for use between 7am - 10pm. There is a TV with local channels provided. The location is a few minute walk from a mini-mart. Hotel also provide fabulous breakfast and dinner!
Cons: The tub for the hot spring could have been more cleaner. There were some kind of debris on the floor when we came to the hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Convenient location. Dinner and breakfast are acceptable. Cleanliness.
Cons: Property looks old
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Decided to splurge at the end of my trip and book a room with a hot spring bath. Wulai is a very small town and very quiet, a good place just to take it easy. You have to call the front desk to turn on the hot spring water (and it's very hot!). Then ass cold water until you're comfortable. I used it before bed and after waking. Since the room will fog up quickly, there's a dehumidifier. The view is just okay - the brook looked pretty muddy in the evening but looked bluer in the morning. Dinner and breakfast is included and is very tasty. I also had snacks at the street market just outside.
Cons: The windows aren't sealed so bugs can get in. The signage could be better - it's right at the start of the street market but I walked past it since I didn't see a sign in English. I was by myself so I could only choose from a limited menu (although the food was still really good). Wish the front desk had given info about the activities in the area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hot springs both in the rooms and below the hotel.
Cons: Food was not subpar, especially the hot pots.
7.0 Good
Pros: Big Hot spring bath in room
Cons: They call “public pool” is actually public hot spring place ( no allow Swimming wear & no allow entry below 13years) We went once & got very uncomfortable experience because staff was watching from changing room to hot spring bath all the way to instruct us or watching us like we r criminal. if u r not wash legs before enter the bath staff shouted us to wash legs. If u r not wear shower cap also. Their rule is okay but staff wearing uniform followed & watched us ( we r all neck!!) is definitely wrong.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pictures don't even did this place justice, i was floored by how pretty our room was! All natural woods and granite... just beautiful! It was quiet and the in room spa and public spas were great. Food was delicious! So relaxing!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the private room spa and the outdoor eating area.
Cons: The food was very average and the 6pm check in time was a little late.

7.0 Good
Pros: Clean.
Cons: The pillow is too soft.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The staff were very friendly, they spoke great English and were able to tell us where to go for food and where to go in the area.
Cons: The bedroom was damp and smelled bad. The furniture and decor looked very dated. Flashing light in corner of the room. The hot spring tub only provided us with hot water once! Breakfast was greesy, cold and badly presented. Did not look like pictures and was very unpleasant.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was so comfortable and the staffs were nice. We were 5 so we booked 2 rooms but the rooms were separated. The staff changed the better room right next to each other without extra charge.
Cons: The hotel was in high so we needed to took a taxi whenever we moved to look around.
6.8 Good
Pros: Then hot spring bath in individual bathroom.
Cons: It’s still a distance away from the main Street, and the breakfast is really simply Taiwanese porraidge with dishes and some toast.

7.9 Good (216 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Yufuin Hot Spring in New Taipei City (Wulai), you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Wulai Old Street and Wulai Atayal Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: we loved the hotel and the breakfast was great
Cons: we were put in the basement and the room was not nearly as good as the ones the rest of our family got—we had five rooms total. but yet we paid the same price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Accessible to the old train station, old street, convenience store + the public hot spring is located at the back of the property. Very accomodating host. Good breakfast. I cannot fault anything.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Old with reasonably maintained. Fair to the price.
Cons: Not caused by the property itself, however need to say Booking.com’s Map to the property shows and leads me to a different place. May caused by miss mapping and/or pointing.
7.5 Good
Pros: I love the hot tub and room is cosy. A great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Cons: The check in time is 6pm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Private onsen in room ( Ock bath tub ) with good view / good breakfast / good owner / great service
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location and great view!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hot spring water tub in the room, view of the river from the bathroom
9.3 Excellent
Pros: You can enjoy a hot bath with a large and beautiful bathtub at Riverview. The friendly owner can also praise you.
Cons: A dirty bed sheet ruined my mood.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hot spring tub is very nice - big and comfortable. The staff are friendly and really try their best to make you comfortable and happy. Breakfast is excellent - you'll be able to skip lunch! A cute friendly dog lives there too.
Cons: It's not the fault of the hotel at all, but the location is different from the map at booking.com. The map sends you to a different hotel. To reach Yufuin, go all the way to the end of the old street, cross the bridge and turn left. It's about a three minute walk from there.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location, nice hot tub, clean & comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was ok, would have preferred Taiwanese style to Western actually.
Cons: Cleanliness could be better eg mould and dead moths in the bathroom
Overview Reviews

Featured amenities include express check-in and luggage storage. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request) and a train station pick-up service.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was very nice
Cons: It was the most dirty hotel i was ever in. There was dust and hair every where, bugs were in the bed and all over the floor. The room was designed very wierd and not comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hot springs very good.
Cons: None.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The couple who run the hotel were super friendly. They let us check in a couple hours early. On day two, hours after we had already checked out (left our bags with them so we could go for a hike), we returned cold and wet from being caught in rainstorms. They offered us free use of their hot spring day spa and fresh towels. They even gave us an umbrella for our trip home, and gave us a free ride to the bus station. We were treated like family.
Cons: Our room had no window, and the bed was a bit too soft. Other than that, accommodation was perfect, with a hot spring tub big enough for two, in our room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hot tub is wonderful!! Good quality of water and made me feel so good after the bath.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location. Privacy . Great hotspringwater. Beautiful nature.
Cons: Every overnightguest has to check out during the day for day bathing guests during the peak season. Not clearly shown in the booking information. That means the hotel makes extra money from your room!!
6.8 Good
Pros: The Breakfast wars okay. The family who owes the hotel, was very nice
Cons: all hotels in Wulai seems to have problems with humidity. I changed the single room twice. The first one didn't look at all like on the pictures. The second one was a tiny room without window in the room itself. the room was as big as the bed. So I moved again to another room. This room was quite in the basement. But there was iat least a mirror in the bathroom and a window in the sleeping room. The single rooms often do not have a window, except in the bathroom.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice view from the bathroom and your personal hot pool of the city! The breakfast was great and the team always ready to help !
Cons: Quite hard to find considering the fact that the name on the building is Wulai spring resort and not Wulai Town House. It was a bit hot in the bedroom.
6.8 Good
Pros: So relax and have a nice view
Cons: Quite far from bus terminal .
5.0 Okay
Cons: The mirror was dirty and the bath towels were old
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice view, close to the old street (there are stairs behind the train station to go directly to the hotel). Close to touristic mini train station. Good chinese breakfast included in the price
Cons: Nothing

Overview Reviews

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. They went out of their way to try to translate to English for me and helped me find a vegetarian dinner. The bed was quite comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. Not a whiff of tobacco smoke anywhere in the facility. Although I had a street view room it was quiet and I enjoyed listening to traditional music and watching traditional dance practice of some young people at the Catholic church just across from me. It was really quiet the rest of the night. There is a place to walk down to the river and swim just around the corner from the property. The property is very close to everything. It is not in the location that it was shown on booking.com. Instead of taking a right when coming off the bridge , turn left and it is a few buildings down. It was a quick walk to several trails and the falls only took about 20 minutes to walk. The hot spring bath was also nice.
Cons: I have no complaints. Everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing stay, super convenient location, very nice and helpful staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location 2mins walk from old street. The back of hotel is a nice Waterfall flow to river, a scenic view from hotel staircase. Private onsen bath in the room good for 2 big couple with nice water that smooth the skin. Breakfast is served in the room. Value for money considering the private onsen, scenic view & peaceful relaxing stay. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful make the stay very cozy & enjoyable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location overlooking the river
Cons: A little dated
7.5 Good
Pros: Large onsen (geo thermal bath) in the room. Great location in Wulai. Note: The staff do not speak English, but minimal communication (amount to pay) was possible. They will show you to your room. A standard breakfast is delivered to your room around 9 am.
Cons: The inn is a bit outdated in it's decor. Also, would like to have seen coffee in the room for the morning. Note that if you spend more than one nights, you must "check out" then "check in" in the evening, which is stated on bookings.com
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to everything
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room, very nice room - i like everything! beautiful place and beautiful hotel. Hot Spring in the room
Cons: Reception - staff does not speak English and it was very hard to find our why we cannot get the room at 1pm when the room is empty. be aware that hot spring is available in the room - in the bath! So room is rented to other people for hours. Lady at the reception finally called to someone who speaks in English so we understood why we cannot check-in. For the owner - I would recommend to the owner to write the rules of the hotel and answer to potential customers on "why" questions in English and leave it on reception. It's not obvious that hot spring is in the hotel and available in the room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is good , the bathtub is big
Cons: About the time because we booked 2 night but the hotel said we must check out at noon and backed to check in again at 6 pm then we talked with the hotel , we booked 2 night why we must check out and check in again in the second night then the hotel tried to check the room and told us to ok ( didn’t check out and in again) . This point is very important for booking the hotel at Wulai ( booking.com should tell the customer about this rule of the hot spring hotel at Wulai) . The staff is very kind to help us to solve the problem. Nice hotel for hot spring.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is good. Breakfast delicious and well balance. But no lift. 5 mins walk to the old street.
Cons: Toilet without door .

5.5 Okay
Cons: Outdated is the word I would use. No Wifi in rooms and bemad reception in general is soooo 2010.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location with amazing view. Good Breakfast and helpful staffs.
Cons: none
5.8 Okay
Pros: Excellent service, personnel very kind
Cons: Cockroach in the room, breakfast very late, started at 8:30
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The fact the room had 2 tubs, 1 for the hot spring, other for the cold spring. And its very quiet. Was able to get a relaxing weekend in.
Cons: The rooms could use a little bit of work/maintenance.
5.8 Okay
Pros: the location is near to Wulai falls
Cons: smell coming from A/C (odor)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Not a king size double bed . Instead it was two single beds merged
Cons: Poor room ventilation
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Our stay was great, but I wish the downstairs near the pool table and ping pong table was cleaned more often. The ball kept going into corners, and under the stairs, where I really didn't want to chase it because of the amount of cobwebs and dust.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beaitiful place, relaxing area and amazing rooms!
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cozy bed and fluffy pillow. Great view of whole valley, village and greenery around the hotel all day, we really enjoyed it. Family size bath tub and sauna oven for two. Aroma of herbal bath supplies was so relaxing, we loved it. This hotel provides local food(e.g. millet porridge and roast chicken)for breakfast.
Cons: The hotel was unexpectedly far from the Wu-lai street. Climbing up winding road from Wu-lai street to the hotel takes took us almost 25 mins. Bugs kept sneaking in our room through the thin gap under the door.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A view is very very good. Nice breakfast, a room is super large and comfortable. The hotel is clean and well equipped. The bathtub for a couple is quite large and the one in a single room is sufficient. Even though the room that the bathroom has no view, you will get the view from the living space in the room, which is tatami style, instead. Like it so much.
Cons: they don't have an elevator. if you have elderly person travel with you, please inform them beforehand and request for the room on the lower floor.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The lovely view over the valley when sitting in our private hot-spring tub, in our room. The hotel is set in pretty gardens. The evening meal we ate at the property was delicious. Beautifully prepared local food. Definitely recommend this hotel as long as you have your own transport as it is a long walk up from the main part of the town.
Cons: Nothing much to fault. The only thing I would change is the American breakfast. It was boring.
7.5 Good
Pros: A bit far from the town center but the hotel staff kindly pick us up on the road
Cons: Installations are a but old
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The pictures of bathroom are slightly better, than reality, but everything was clean and comfy. We did enjoy our stay and hot bath with mountain view was a highlight. Bed was comfy and big. There is a kettle, hair dryer and TV in the room. If you need a convenience store, there is a Family Mart about 7 mins from hotel (uphill on your way back) and 7-Eleven all the way down to the center. The staff was nice, they didn't speak much English, but they have really tried to help us, even called a lady from kitchen who spoke a little English. Seriously, everyone was super nice. Breakfast (American style) is served in lovely setting, with mountain and garden view. It was filling enough. We have left our luggage after checkout without any issues (there are no lockers at the Tourist center or bus station).
Cons: The location is uphill and if you prefer to walk, it is just alongside the car road, no pavement. There is a small shortcut with stairs, but we had a luggage so didn't use it when were going to hotel. Other than that, the stay was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly. Room was beyond my expectations. I enjoyed my private hot spring very much. Would recommend.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice environment. In a better condition that I got as impression from the reviews; as much as I generally expect from places in Taiwan. Friendly service despite that I cannot speak Chinese. A bit distant from the Wulai Old Street, but for me this was a bonus - peace and quiet with gorgeous mountain view. Booked this rather late, but did not regret.
Cons: WiFi did not work in my room. It was not personally a big issue as I was here for relaxing and hot spring - not to hang out in social media. Probably I could have sorted it out with the staff if I had wanted to.
7.5 Good
Pros: Quite
Cons: Have sheets that stay on bed when you lay down, have more than two pillows in the room

9.3 Excellent
Pros: We like bathing in a hot spring pool and in the bathroom. The staff were helpful though their English is poor.
Cons: The receptionist cannot speak English so we had to use google translate. It took time to communicate with him for check in.
4.5 Okay
Pros: There was a nice view of the river from the room
Cons: The next door occupants were smoking and we could smell it. The place looked run down and quite crummy. Best of all, our king sized bed was actually two single beds joined together, and in the middle of the two beds there was no support underneath so the bed sagged in the middle. We slept across the bed parallel to the headboard because we didnt want baby to roll off, so the inwardly sloping mattress caused a backache. There was also a strange smell in the toilet, and honestly the bath didnt look inviting at all. I just felt that the pictures were way better than how it was in reality.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: There’s nothing good in this hotel. The worst hotel I ever been
Cons: We had the worst experience ever. We arrived at the hotel, and they simple said that we didn’t any space to sleep in the hotel. So they get us to another hotel, over the mountains, far away from the city Center. Of course we refuse. So they get us to another hotel, also horrible hotel, far way from the city Center. Furthermore we get inside the hotel we reserved and we said that we would not leave from there until they get that room we reserved. We were to much tired, and they gave us an horrible room, with beds on the floor. This hotel is an illusion, there is nothing like in the picture, please never go to this hotel. Is the worst hotel I ever been!
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was great and they had decent hot spring facilities.
Cons: The pools weren't clean. Pretty grimey. One wasn't full at all. Staff didn't show us where these facilities were so we ended up not finding half of them until hours later. Bathtubs are full of limescale Coffee was instant 3 in 1 with milk so most of my friends couldn't drink it. Black coffee may be better.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly lady at reception, could not speak English but communicated through app very well.
7.0 Good
Pros: Set breakfast which is not good at all.
Cons: Front Desk was wearing short with T-shirt to greet us. All surrounding in the hotel look dull. Hot spring area in the hotel seems does not work for long time like nobody stay at this hotel for long time. Not worth to pay this price.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Clean and comfort
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Got a lovely room with great view - right by the riverside! And the most convenient location in town, less than 100m from the bus station.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
7.5 Good
Pros: the location is good
Cons: I don’t like the bed it was two single bed combined together
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The bed is totally unacceptable. Mattress made me backache

9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved the big and comfortable baths, cold and hot side by side. Soo lovely to spend the evening looking out at the mountains over town from the private baths. Staff was very helpful and offered free pick up and drop off from the tourist area in the shuttle.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Spa is available in the room! Nice view(cause it's almost at the top) And bathroom is very spacious.
Cons: Old. Hard to walk to the Wulai town. Wish bathtub was bigger.(Thr room was for 4 but bathtub wasn't)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great view of Wulai and the mountains. Lovely hot spring water
Cons: The breakfast is poor. For $3500 I would expect better.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hot spring bathroom itself is really nice and large.
Cons: The rooms are very old and tired looking and really need some paintwork. The rooms look very different in the online photos compared to real life. Breakfast is okay, but the dining room is very crammed.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Only on website photos, the hotel looks good. But it is actually an old hotel with run down facilities. The only good thing is transport to and fro are provided though it is not stated. Emailed sent to hotel but no response after 2 days. The young lady who cooks willingly helped us by giving us extra sunny side up eggs. We were grateful to her. Good view from balcony but too many pests.
Cons: Too old. Felt cheated as I booked the hotel thinking it will be s nice resort. Still using keys for hotel room.... Booking.com described this hotel as a 15 mins walk is a big lie! It is not possible to walk to hotel. Breakfast is lacking in variety and taste bad. Hot spring facilities only in hotel room. We asked for an hour extension for check out and was rejected. Bad service, money-minded. Location is too far away from old street.
5.5 Okay
Cons: Dinner was rather expensive and of low quality at NT$300/pax. Portion was extremely small for 5 persons. Rooms were poorly maintained and dirty! Bathrooms were mouldy and dirty. Curtains were torn and tattered.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff’s service and atmosphere
Cons: Very bad WiFi service
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, nice and in good location. MTR 5 mints, night market 10 min.
Cons: The location was great however the view is to highway
5.0 Okay
Pros: The only bonus is we had a fabulous mountain view from our room. Very big family tub that can fits more than 5. Surprisingly quiet at night, great for sleeping.
Cons: If you are carrying bulky & heavy luggage, try to get level 1 or 2, they did not offer to carry the luggage and we were given family room (308) on the 3rd level. The building structure is old so they do not have elevator but overall still well maintained. Unlikely to walk to town for food, quite a distance and street are narrow not suitable to walk along the road. They are still using turn key for their rooms, so must remember to lock from inside once you get inside as anyone can open from outside. Breakfast is simple but nice & great coffee dispenser.
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast is okay...
Cons: Room temperature is too hot

5.8 Okay
Pros: Big enough space for bath. I had wonderful time bathing in the hot spring. You can enjoy great view.
Cons: Room was so dark, and a bit dirty. All staffs are kind, but difficult to communicate in english. Also they offer local breakfast, but it was find, instead of American Breakfast.

Cons: Bedroom itself was kinda dirty.
7.5 Good
Pros: View from the room was beautiful. Breakfast was authentic and plentiful. The in-room spa was also quite a treat.
Cons: Wifi didn't work in our room, the signal was too weak. The owners were very friendly but there was a bit of a language barrier, they did not speak english.
