Both breakfast and dinner are very delicious. The portion is large. The public onsen view is superb facing the mountain. Staff are helpful and nice.

The environment was incredibly beautiful, nestled among the mountains and forests, very peaceful, with views of Mt. Yufudake. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly, and professional. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the private bath was also very relaxing, with scenic views.

Literally everything was perfect. Recommend it for calming and relaxing. Especially the scene from the spa was magnificent. The kaiseki, dinner, was great for experiencing Japanese seasonal food. Also, warm welcoming was impressive. Must have to visit again.

Lovely place with a view of the mountains. The 8 course dinner was not only beautifully presented but also very delicious. The private onsen with windows open to the forest was truly relaxing and just what we needed on a windy November day. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The ryokan is old, and looked a lot better in pictures than in real life. Also, there were not a lot of taxis in the area. Our taxi driver wanted to charge us $500 USD to take us to the airport.
