i think this hotel is highly overrated, we went there during the holiday, most of the facilities were closed... there were lack of coordination between staff, we had reservations for 2 rooms, but when we got there they only had one, and the receptionist started yelling that there is no other reservation, and when we showed the confirmation she started appologizing...they charge about 20 JD for the breakfast that wouldn't cost more than 2 JD, they dont even have juice or fresh mint tea in the "Royal CLUB' which is 50 JD more than the dulex room ..
Its not 5 star hotel max 1 star hotel,no service not clean and very bad staff

The reason I stayed in this hotel was that the conference I came to attend was held in this hotel. I booked Club Room and was upgraded to Business Suite. The suite was in the 24th floor and has everything I needed during my 1 night/2 days business trip - nice view. Nothing major at all. If there is onething I felt a bit irrelevant, it was the car parking although available, not up to a 5star hotel level. I expect LCD TV in rooms of such hotel and especially such suite instead of the normal television that is dated long time ago.

the staff were very fast and helpful. the hotel rooms are clean and size is fair for short stay. the internet is expensive and for the full rate should be free. room service food quality was dissapointing. for ahigh rate luxery hotel, a bath rope is standard, the marriot should add to all rooms
In Jordan hotels at check-in all the luggages are scanned - this is very good and make us feel safe.
Everything seeemed to be in running order. The room was not always in full order after the cleaning. No wi-fi in the rooms.
I liked the service which was very fast. The staff was polite and curtious. They understood our demands which is rear.
There was avery large party one night. It appeared to be a very expensive party of influental people. The noise was extremely loud in my ninth-floor room. The staff moved me to a room on the other side of the hotel that was quiet. Several guests were upset about the noise. Also, the temperature in the rooms is centrally controlled and is kept too warm.
It was nice stay in Marriott Hotel - Amman, also the rate was very good compare to the hotel facilities and luxury . It was Fantastic Hotel

The stay was so good and the hotel is a real 5 starts Hotel. Internet is highly expensive comparable to Jordan's reputation in advanced internect connection, meaning it should be the cheapest in the region.

I frequently travel and this was one of the worst experiences I had. Extremely rude management, that refuses to accommodate even the simplest request (look up my Marriott rewards number). I recommend staying at the Intercon next time.
The service at the hotel was horrible. 1) The pool was simply closed off till next summer. 2) i went in person to the front desk on at least 3 different occasions in 2 days and asked for a blanket and still never got it. 3) The thermostat and one of the phones were all smudged and dirty. 4) We had to ask for shampoo and shower gel because it wasn't placed in the room. the list goes on and on and on.

The reservation made through booking.com went through smoothly and as selected on the website. You have to wait in line to check in!
Location is very convenient, the very center of the city. Helpful hotel staff. We had some discrepancy between the final bill and tariff quoted at reservation, possibly because of the exchange rate. Had to argue about it a bit.
I liked the design, the room was nice and spacious, also there was allways some fruits, the view, the SPA, ecspecially the indoor pool was perfect for swimming and relaxing.
The staff, the resturant, the location. The hotel is a bet old, pillows and sheets very old, the bed were not comfortable, the barbershop were too expensive with low quality.
I liked the nice ambience in the rooms and in the lobby.
There is no any free time to the internet for guset such as business center or in the rooms , its all in charge .
It was Club Room, so exclusive check in and free use of Club Lounge I thought bathroom a bit short on amenities

I didn't like much about the hotel, amman overall is a horrible place to visit there is not much to do in the city, you are better off finding a cheaper hotel to get the same horrible service. Well first off it took over an hour and a half to check me in, I made my reservation two days in advance, once I finally got my room key at 4am the room they gave me had some one in it!!! I have heard of this at small hotels but not sonething I would expect here. The service is sub par, the hotel is full of guys not one girl works including the housekeepers which is a little weird, the food sucks and is way overpriced, they have a bar but you can't go in unless you bring a girl. This place overall is just horrible, save your money I'm sure all the other hotels in Amman are this way but at least you won't have the sting of the high price tag.
Heat was working even though i had it on A, the Heating was very loud

The location was why we chose the hotel, but the service and facilities made it a pleasure. It is by far the best choice for Petra. (It's proximity to the ruins makes it worth the small price differential between it and other hotels)

Rooms are spacious. Good and friendly service generally (and usually). I had the longest check in ever; 30mins, too long for a 2am check-in! They quoted me a higher price than originally booked. The room was smelly so they downgraded me, and I didn't get the promised upgrade for the rest of my stay. During check-out the price in my invoice was higher. I was then charged again on my credit card for a mistake after my departure!

Probably, the best of Sheraton Hotels I've ever visited. Since the first moment i checked-in till the last moment i checked-out. Absolutely amazing staff, caring, asking me at every chance if i need anything or if i have any compalints. When I asked them to help me on something they gave full attention and they gave me the best alternative. there was nothing i didnt like in the hotel.
As a frequent traveler I have not noticed services out of the ordinary other hotel offer. In fact I had to visit Four Seasons to use their swimming pool as yours was not available. I was impressed with their facility. It seems that some of your managers lack the experience and courtesy to deal with guests (for an example arguing and assuming I am a naive person). One of the most irritating experience that with every service that I request the server demanded a tip (not verbally, but with body language), practically I had to pay almost about 40% of my bill as tips. The hotel has two swimming pool non of them was available

Location was good and the hotel have all functions but unfortunately the services were not upto Sheraton as we all know. With this room rate I was expecting better than this. The services over all does not reflect Sheraton as a world class hospitality brand. I strongly recommend more intensive training sessions for the hotel GM and the rest of staff on how to treat multi national guests.

When we arrived, they claimed the reservation was canceled, then they provided a room. I would not know why such thing would happen.
1- the rate that is shown on booking.com doesn't include anything beside accomdation which where not stated at all when booking.. ( no access to anything .. no breakfest... everything u need to do at the hotel is done for extra very premium charges) 2- the exchange money rate at the hotel is complete a robbery 3- standard two bed rooms are so small 4- no cell phone coverage on the high floors which leads on using the room land line phone to make calls (again each phone call charges are at very premium prices)

Room comfort, staff at reception, the staff at breakfast restaurant were not enough, so the servise was a little slow and not ver prompt although they were very polite.
Quite honestly the cleanest, most friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. I am from NC, USA and this place was definitely worth the $. it is very expensive but you wouldnt get that kind of service and perfection anywhere else. the spa is amazing, the pool has an amazing view.

It was very good..staff very good.We wanted Chinese food and there was a convention in the restaurant...so they accommodated us in the buffet restaurant and let us order from the Chinese menu and brought it to us The hotel was too hot

Leaving The bathroom was filthy, the room smelled of smoke, there were mulitiple weddings with loud music, unruly guests until wee hours, I asked for an internet cable upon checkin-again with bell boy-and again walked down and asked at front desk for a cable. They told me they will have one sent right up! I never did get a cable!! No inroom drinking water supplied. Bar staff so rude, I left!

swimming pool The hotel were woundering about the price i got and they were not helpfull in thier service. I had to change my sweet due to so many problems in water, electrical and air conditioning systems.
Very clean and new hotel, great customer service and great vale for what i paid- if i go to Jordan again I plan to stay there We were on the 1st floor so whenever there is a wedding party you could hear some noise but not too much however if you want an absolutely quite room ask for a room on 2nd floor or higher The gym hours for men are not practical it is only open for men from 8pm to 11:30 pm which did not work for me at all, for for women is is great form 8am to 8pm

Hotel guests are required to pass thru an x-ray machine for security purposes. Unless they look trustworthy, wear a uniform (military/police), or travel in groups. Items that set off the x-ray portal are not investigated. Useless security item....

Spacious rooms very poor entertainment system, the TV chanels was'nt clear all the time an they only had the free chanels no decent movie chanels were available. The internet system was'nt working also.
Good location No value for money and 40% cheaper rates than booking.com when locally booked tv channels bad: mbc2 frozen picture for 3 days, Deutsche Welle distorted sound. When I checked in, antenna cable was defective, had to be replaced.
Spacious nice room, nice breakfast. Upon arrival we upgraded to the Royal Club, we traveled with a kid and got babycot installed in the room while we enjoyed snacks at the royal lounge. Nice lobby area with live piano - sat there and played chess while listening to the music Major roadworks on the key road coming to the hotel - car navigation system was hardly a help during the last mile. Maybe a map on the web site would be a help

the location of the hotel the room service was really bad. the sheets had some blood stains when i arrived and the pillows were extremly not comfortable. for a five star hotel they should have other types of pillows. The room service said to me they are all out and we can not get you another type

Very nice place to stay, the location is wonderful very close to most restaurants, cafes, and lots of other services, just walking distances I had to pay 30% extra charge for the breakfast as taxes, this is really too much, it was 16% city tax and 14 % service charge. In addition, the internet should be free

Hotel staff are very nice, friendly and supportive The hotel did not meet my expectations from Kempinski chain of hotels. I have been to Kempinski hotels in Europe and other countries but i did not find this hotel matching other Kempinski hotels. I found that the hotel furniture needs renovation although i made an upgrade to an executive room.

I have gotten a good welcome specially the welcome drink.Another thing is the internet is completely free of charge which I thought is subject to an expensive charge. I think yuo should take a better photos for hotel's room.The hotel needs more refubrshment.
Housekeeping staff was efficient, services provided were quick. Breakfast buffet was average, hardly anybody spoke English making it difficult to communicate. And I found the bathroom to be very shabby, not suitable for a 5-star hotel.
Water did not work in the morning. The internet also did not work in the morning. Difficult to get taxis. Difficult to exchange money.
The rooms were spacious. That is about all. the furniture is believed to be older than king tut. the hall ways need new carpets. The area where you eat breakfast is chaos. Oh, and i found a hair in the fried egg tray which is longer than my index finger!!! the hotel has no facilities whatsoever. The people who rated this five-star must have been blind or have not paid a visit a long ime ago. It is a 3-star -with luck!
