Pros: Super friendly staff & owners & chef Very good food on the menu 'ok' breakfast We had some clothing issues with which they shouldn't have helped us, but gladly did without charge.
Cons: Not really a dislike, but the breakfast could have been a bit more 'diverse ?' But I don't find this annoying but i know other people might.
Pros: An exceptional place to stay. And don't look anywhere else for your evening meal!
Pros: Brilliant. What a gem! Great quiet location, fields with horses at the back, a wonderful terrace bar/restaurant and wonderful food.....but what makes this so special is the wonderful team that run it, nothing was too much trouble, they worked around our needs rather than any strict timetable and they were pleasant and conversational and did I mention the excellent food and beer they serve?
Pros: We had such a lovely time staying here, excellent hosts who made us feel so welcome during our stay. The food was excellent and very well priced for the quality on offer. Very nice property and in a lovely location, within easy distance the Gent. I enjoyed my stay so much, I would definitely go back for another stay.
Pros: Everything was very good! Also the staff/owners were so lovely and professional
Pros: We were made to feel so welcome on arrival (we were a bit too early really). We were on a mission to visit a frituur, but as it was the hottest day on record they were all closed in the vicinity. But that turned out to be a Godsend, as then we had no choice but to eat in the "de minnetuin" restaurant, which was wonderful. We had ribs and chips and great salad washed down with pink wine and beer. Slept well after that. Most important the bedroom was cool considering how hot it was outside.
Cons: I don't think we can find anything that was negative about the experience. If they could have changed the outside weather to have been cooler that would have been great, but I really think that is beyond their capabilities.
Pros: Awesome place to stay. Great hosts and amazing food. We were so well looked after!
Pros: Family run business, warm welcome, every effort made to help us. Appreciated the lift and climate control throughout the building. Well cooked salmon for dinner in generous portions. Breakfast good for those who like that sort of thing. Good place to walk dogs within easy reach - on a tight schedule so not enough time to explore further.
Cons: Not a criticism but guests need to be aware that the hostess does all the front of house work, service in restaurant and preparing/serving breakfast so top tip if you want to leave promptly in the moring is to pay your bill the night before. In my room, I would have liked a mirror
Pros: Ideal location for me: close to ArcelorMittal plant (3 minutes by car) and at the same time, surrounded by nature: forest and canal. If you don't arrive too late, you can have diner really homemade. Friendly and warm welcome. Only 4 bedrooms, so if you have the chance to have an availability at your date: don't hesitate.
Pros: This is the best B&B I’ve ever been too. Super nice lady, we were welcomed with open arms. Great breakfast, beautiful room, very good location. Everything was absolutely great. Highly recommended! Thank you very much

Pros: Have stayed several times at this hotel which says it all. Only problem this time was functions on which stopped us using the restaurant on Friday evening but we ate in the bar.
Cons: Only slight problem we had was because we had a ground floor room , other people thought they could sit on our veranda.
Pros: I have stayed in other hotels in Zelzate several times on business and I didn't have a great expectation for this visit. I found Hotel Den Hof on Booking.com. With this hotel words fail to sufficiently explain my surprise apart from WOW! What a place! Every aspect of this hotel grossly exceeded expectation especially it's setting within the town. I would recommend to anyone who expects luxury to stay in this place. Well done Hotel Den Hof.
Pros: The location is very good.
Pros: Brand new and modern. Everything was immaculate.
Cons: Put screens in the windows. We wanted to sleep with the windows open but there were no screens, so bugs came in the room.
Pros: Room, bar and restaurant very good with comfy bed
Cons: Parking and walking outside to get to the main building - luckily it wasn't raining hard
Pros: We arrived by bike and we’re able to leave them overnight in a safe place.
Pros: Quick drive to Oiltanking from the hotel. Den hof is very serene and quiet. Clean room , great space, wonderful balcony and a very green environment.
Cons: Zelzate is a pretty small 'village' not many stores around. Breakfast was quite underwhelming.
Pros: In the unlikely event you should have reason to stay in Zelzate, you could do much worse than this hotel. The setting is calm but quite central, the rooms are clean and spacious, and parking is easy. The restaurant was closed when we stayed, but I can recommend the beer and the bar food is more than adequate.
Pros: Attractive modern hotel with comfortable room and an excellent restaurant.
Cons: Nothing really
Pros: Beautiful property in Zelzate. Nice location and very clean .

Pros: Lovely converted customs house in a very good location overlooking the Gent canal and it's busy canal boat traffic.
Pros: Quiet, peaceful location. Unusual building. Our 2nd stay here & we would come again
Cons: Phoned direct, was told "no rooms, fully booked" so I searched on booking .com Room booked straight away. 1st night here (sat) 2 other couples, this morning we are the only ones here. Fully booked?
Pros: the room is very confy, specific the bed . The location is great! Beautiful view, quiet and close to the park to walk. The breakfast is good .
Cons: we thought this place was for pets too, as they said in the internet page but it isn't, our dog must stay in the car because he barking (?) oh yes dogs barking isn't? And he is not coffee room. And also we had a warning from the hosts : don't let your dog dirty the room. we had travel a lot to England, Germany, also in Holland in different hotels wenever heard something like it in the place pet friendly.
Pros: Excellent peaceful location. Comfy bed. Good breakfast.
Pros: The location is amazing overlooking a small marina and the busy canal, literally yards from the Belgian Dutch border. The building is unique and very interesting. It was perfect for us as the owners kindly let us park our motorcycles in their locked garden. Breakfast was really fresh. Bed was comfortable. Location was very quiet although there was some generator noise from the marina in the morning. Easy walk into town for dinner. Would definitely recommend this place.
Pros: Superb hosts
Pros: Lovely, friendly and interesting hosts that enjoy to travel and have a small gallery. The room was huge, there's a well stocked honesty fridge for beers and soft drinks and the breakfast was great!!! The location on the canal makes for interesting walks and the B&B is probably only 100m from the Dutch border. The building is beautiful and the marina location made for a very peaceful stay.
Pros: The host is very friendly and serve us with very nice breakfast.
Pros: Nice interior in Oriental style, cozy small room, delicious morning fresh handmade bread (from the castle owner). Mysterious atmosphere. Thanks for your hospitality and Merry Christmas, Santa Carlos!!!) Anastacia& Sergii
Cons: Water in bathroom is smelly depending of transportation from the ground
Pros: The lady of the house was very nice she helped us pizza and a flat tyre.
Pros: Beds were very comfy if you like a soft bed. I forgot my toothbrush, and unlike other places, there were two toothbrushes in the bathroom with toothpaste. What a surprise! Host was very nice and accommodating. Simple, but had all we needed. Beautiful country setting.
Cons: The entry way had a funny unpleasant smell you could smell all the way up to our room, and some inside.
Cons: THE ROOMS WERE ABSOLUTELY STIFLING AND THE FAN PROVIDED WAS INEDEQUATE. WHEN I ASKED FOR A LARGE STAND UP FAN WAS TOLD THEY HAD NONE. BACON RAN OUT ON 2 DAYS AT BREAKFAST AND WHEN I ASKED FOR MORE WAS TOLD NO BY A VERY MISERABLE, ARROGANT FEMALE STAFF MEMBER. ROOMS WERE NEVER CLEANED FROM DAY TO DAY. TOWELS CHANGED BUT SINKS LEFT DIRTY AND BEDS UNMADE. BED LINEN IS CHEAP NYLON SWEATY MATERIAL AND DOES NOT LOOK CLEAN.
Pros: Great place. Good location. Clean & comfy. Great beakfast. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: No negatives
Pros: Clean and confortable
Pros: Good location
Cons: Old hotel that needs updating. Very dark room, no air con, needs Reno.
Pros: Staff was very courteous. Thank you
Cons: The ceilings in the room were really low so I hit my head when lights were off. It caused a small cut on forehead and I don't want that to happen to someone else. Otherwise room was great!
