Pros: "Flight was very late landing and we missed our connecting flight. As a result had to get a rental car in order to connect with our friends. Also it was a baby crying nonstop for the first half of the flight."

Cons: "The flight was delayed because of a technical issue and then the plane was very cold for most of the flight. And they said my green-tagged carry on would be at the gate when I arrived in Richmond. But then we arrived and they put it at baggage claim instead where we had to wait 20 minutes for it. Too many things were not comfortable or convenient on this particular flight."

Pros: "The check in process at LAX was very efficient and smooth. and the crew on the plane was very considerate. And the tv system on some of the planes is very enjoyable."
Cons: "There was a technical issue on the plane so they had us get off and wait hoping they could fix the problem. It turned into a 3 hour wait. They covered a meal for us which was good and gave us $50 off our next flight. But I’m not sure I want to book united again. The lady at the service desk was not very patient (which is understandable since a loy of people had to rebook their connecting flights). But I was smiling at her and just asking how to go about changing our connecting flights and she seemed a little bit ready to get rid of me. And the next plane we got on, one of our tv screens didn’t work. And the connecting flight was delayed also because of a technical problem."

Cons: "I think that going stingy with customers on a flight regarding food is disappointing. It’s the first time in my life that I travel and the airline doesn’t not provide food in the overall cost!, and charging for entertainment:speechless! And the seats, well uncomfortable would be a nice word to describe them.No United again!"

Pros: "Very pleasant attentive crew and ground staff. An aborted takeoff on tarmac meant a return to the departure gate and the plane taken to maintenance. The ground staff were superb in dealing with a full plane load of passengers many of whom had onward connections. This meant we had to stay overnight and fly first thing the next morning. Full marks to United for dealing with a potentially dangerous situation and then assisting everyone back in the terminal."

Pros: "The flight from BHM to DEN (my connection) was re-routed due to poor weather in DEN. What was supposed to be a 3-hr flight, turned into a 5-hr flight. Thank goodness my layover was originally 3.5 hrs, so that extra time in the air cut into that wait time at the airport, but at least waiting at the airport would allow me to move around and stretch my legs, and not be stuck in THE tiniest plane seat I've ever experienced."
Cons: "Being stuck on the plane for 2 hours longer than the original flight time of 3 hours made my legs ache. The seats were SO incredibly tiny, and there is very little room in the pocket on the back of the seat in front of you. You can't fit a water bottle, and barely my tiny purse or e-reader device. Please do away with these super-tiny seats."

Pros: "They gave me $400 credit, then swapped me onto a separate airline that actually had a direct flight that got me to my destination faster than my original layover flight... so I can't even be mad about it. Actually made my day."
Cons: "I actually have no idea what their flight would have been like... because I flew American Airlines."

Pros: "Good on-phone customer service to make flight accommodations since we missed our connecting flight out of Denver"
Cons: "Insufficient and/or incomplete communication from pilot as to the nature of the delay (unhooked cable), how it was being addressed (the ONLY person that could hook the cable was still at home; then when he did arrive, he was assigned to fix another airplane before ours), and what we, as passengers, could do to help ourselves (United staff was reviewing connections, but then no one ever came back to relay information about that). We missed our connecting flight (we finally departed 15 minutes before our connecting flight left Denver); I had to call customer service while still sitting on the plane, and we were placed on a connecting flight out of Denver that left 4 hours AFTER we should have landed at our final destination. What should have been 9 hours of total travel time (including driving to and from airport, security checks, customs, etc.) turned into 20 hours, resulting in a lost 1st day of our trip."

Cons: "My booking confirmation told me we were on Lufthansa flight #7644 so naturally we went to the Lufthansa terminal at the airport. We waited in line to check in and were then redirected to a different terminal because we were actually flying United. How did that happen and why wasn't it explained ahead of time? The seat was too small for an international flight and the entertainment was unwatchable because there was a constant screeching sound in the headphones, a problem with the jack."

Cons: "Flight attendants and captain constantly talking at us. We need some quiet!"

Cons: "That there was no one at gate to direct us to customer service being that most of us missed our flight due to equipment repair and hold up from Newark. I fly delta most of my trips. When this happens with them. They have a rep at the gate to help you. Also. There were only two people at the customer service desk for all of us. You should have had all four stations available to expedite the process of reschedualling. Everyone one agreed that united just did not care. So sad. We had a very tired infant with us. What should have been a short twenty minute flight turned into two hours."

Pros: "I am slow walking due to health issues. Coming from Kansas City to Chicago was a problem. My daughter who was with me is physically handicapped. There was no transportation to assist us to get from one terminal to another one when we arrived. Thank goodness we had a two and one-half hour overlay. Going home was a different story. Two wonderful gentleman met us as we disembarked and speedily got us to our flight. We only had 30 minutes and they made sure we were there. Issac and the other man are to be commended!"

Cons: "Stuffed into seats. The three seats where there is only room for two is absolutely terrible. Average people have shoulders not of a nine year old. The middle seat is ridiculous."

Pros: "In these past six months my family and I have been back and forth on the same route and in four occations this flight as been delayed. My 70 year old aunt lost her other flight in Houston and had to wait 12 more hours overnight wihtout food because all the restaurants were already closed. In our case were a party of five and with 1hr 40min connection. We had to run to the other side of the airport to the international gates not knowing if we lost the flight because when we arrived to Houston the second flight was already boarding. Luckly the flight attendants let us out first before the other passengers and barely made it."

Pros: "From Salt Lake to Houston, there was a really rude flight attendant, a man. Other than that, my entire flight experience was good. They didn't have Dr. Pepper."

Cons: "Flight was cancelled a few minutes before boarding announcement. All indication prior to that was flight was on schedule. Wasted 4 hours after struggling to get another flight."

Cons: "Handicap assitive employees were late to arrive and held up the boarding process."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled and I was not helped with a hotel or car so now I am stuck for two more days until I can get home"

Cons: "The boarding process at Berlin Tegel was very difficult. I was not able to bring the stroller to the gate, so it was very hard for me to manage carrying an 18 month old baby and all of our carry on bags through the airport and to the plane. The plane had to be boarded via a stairway on the tarmac. It would have been helpful if United staff could have offered a hand there."

Cons: "Attitude of the older flight attendant white woman. I asked her about putting a piece of artwork in a bin that had a yellow thing which looked to be a flotation device, and she was sarcastically rude saying it was a raft, and no I can't put anything in there. I watched the attitude with some other guests as well, so realized it wasn't just me, but how snarkily short she was with people about their luggage and such. If you're not enjoying your job, then quit and let someone younger and fresh come on board to create a more pleasant atmosphere for everyone."

Cons: "I was told I had a confirmed seat after a cancelled flight and showed up the next day to find out it was given to someone else. No help was giving took us three hours to finally get help"

Cons: "I was told that despite weather delays I would definitely make my connection on time and to "stop wasting the agent's time" with my questions. Of course I missed it, spent Christmas night in the Houston airport, and nearly lost my job for missing work the next day. I would never fly United again."
