Cons: "The crew was extremely rude. One in particular was very racist in the way we were treated and the way she would talk to white travellers. My 3 year old child was not provided meal after 2 reminders and I had to argue and fight for it. I was forcefully given Asian vegetarian meal when I had made no special meal requests."

We lost our tickets on another flight connecting us to our final destination. Therefore, we had to re-book that flight and incur charges. Lufthansa Considers this consequential loss not responsible for fees incurred. This service is unacceptable and will make us reconsider ever flying this airline again."

Cons: "Check-in staff was so unfriendly and unprofessional, I have decided to never fly United again. It also took almost 25 minutes on-hold to try and get a customer service rep on the phone and by that time I was going to be late for my flight and United would not refund my money even though it was their issue that was causing my delay. There are too many other airlines to have to deal with the rude people at the check-in area and the lack of customer support."

Pros: "The food was good. It was nice that they supply wet hot towels before each meal. The seat was comfortable with the price I paid for. The rest room is nice and clean and quite spacious. The L’occitane toiletery bag was nice."

I was sitting in the first row business class and the air hostess skipped me and didn’t give me a slipper. She gave me a used slipper at the end only without a packet. This is unprofessional to treat a business class passenger"

Pros: "Food - Free dinners even for economy class. Entertainment - Every seat has a TV that offers multiple languages and tons of blockbuster movies from a variety of genres. They also offer many television shows in multiple languages and genres and video games. Roomy- The seats are as non-roomy as any airplane. However, the flight attendants don't give you any trouble when you want to just get up and walk around and talk to people. It gives the plane a roomy atmosphere. You can go to spacier sections of the plane to hang out."

The staff would not speak English and refused to serve any drinks or snacks as I thought it would be normal. Our luggage was lost and did not arrive at our final destination til 2 days later. On the flight home we were told to wait till our transfer to upgrade and that was denied and said we needed to do it prior. I am beyond disappointed and will never fly with Air China again and the only recourse that was given was from the nice people in Japan that explained this happens all the time and provided a voucher for less than 100 US dollars. I will advise anyone in the future not to fly this airline and I would like this to be investigated."

Worse experience I’ve ever had in my life. I would not recommend this airline to anyone. Addition they didint allow anyone to upgrade to business class even thought they had seats available"

Our flight was also delayed for four hours with no explanation, while we all sat on the plane waiting. Finally they made us all get off of the plane issued us new tickets and then we got back on. The whole process was rediculous. The seat space was smaller than usual and the plane was very dirty. It was also the worst airplane food I have ever tasted. I would definitely recommend not flying air China. K"

Cons: "Where to start. First off, I have flown budget air carriers with more leg room than this pacific international flight. I do admit I am a taller than average guy, but if you are over 6' tall you will have NO legroom. And I mean none. It is an insulting amount of legroom. My 5'6" wife barely had any room, never mind myself. On my flight back, I requested an emergency exit row seat (as I noticed on the flight over the emergency exit row was filled with old people and young couples with babies/ young children). And was informed it would cost $120 USD per flight per person. My jaw almost hit the floor. You mean to tell me that the emergency exit row - the row where in the case of an emergency you are supposed to physically be able to assist passengers - actually COSTS money to sit in? That is an absolute disgrace. You have to pay for the added responsibility to help in the case of an emergency? Of course, once I was on the flight the emergency exit row was filled with old people and babies. All of course perfectly capable of helping in the case of an emergency. I was, and still am furious. The gall to charge that much money and then give the responsibility to people unable to help? Meanwhile, an able-bodied couple in the 20s is denied and I am cramped in my less-than-acceptable-for-budget-airlines legroom. And the food. Putrid. Inedible. It was somehow overwhelmingly fragrant while far too bland. Its hard to imagine someone putting together that meal and feeling proud. The meals all screamed "I do not care about my customers." In fact, that is the overwhelming feeling I got from Air China. An airline that truly could not careless about their customers. I would not reccommend. Even if they are the cheapest by a far margin. Stay away. Do not go near. Air China is a terrible airline that should be avoided at all costs."

Cons: "We had a 12 hour flight and not once was the fasten seatbelt sign turned off despite the weather being very smooth. How do they expect people to not pee for 12 hours? Seats were hard as a rock. Staff seemed unhappy and definitely were not courteous. I asked for a glass of wine with my meal and it took them well over an hour to bring it. They say to turn off your cellphone for the whole flight. Airplane mode was not said to be okay and my husband is a rule follower and wouldnt let me use my phone in airplane mode. Definitely no wifi available if you wanted that."

Pros: "I'm 6'2" and had good leg room in coach. The food was decent and the boarding process went pretty smoothly. Each seat had a power outlet below it (kinda out of sight). Overall my flight was pretty good."
Cons: "The entrainment system was a little bit older semi touch screen (no usb charger). Air china was similar to China Eastern as they demanded all cell phones stay off for the duration of the flight. No WIFi was available for purchase."

Cons: "The Crew was crazy bad. They had plenty good enough English they just didn't give a rip if we needed something. My son spilled his yogurt on his lap so I asked for paper to get it cleaned up. The lady just huffed and walked away, I thought to get napkins, but nope, she never came back. This was one of several things that were just lazy or rude on the flight. Also, While I get that this is Air China, so most of the entertainment would be Chinese, the last time I flew Korean Air, and China Southern on international flights they had a pretty good international entertainment selection. Not so on Air China! there were about 4 English choices, and nothing else. Again, I would fly this again at this price (600 for round trip from CGO to DEN) but for even 30-40 dollars more, I would find something else."

I flew into Los Angeles from Pittsburgh, Pa On United Airlines Two week Prior and was charged an Excessive Baggage Fees , not counting the high priced Ticket and made to feel like an animal. Although I paid 436 USD for the ticket, I was treated as though they were flying me for free. (United Airlines) I wish the Local Airlines could learn from the International Airlines when it comes to common courtesy."

Cons: "Staff is too touchy and short spoken with you. Small drink selection. No personal movies for you to select. Just watch what they have for you on the wall that is far away. Food was terrible!"

Cons: "Almost four hour delay to destination"

Cons: "Bad and poor costumer service. Never again even if they were the cheapest or even if it's free."

Cons: "Food was terrible and yuk!. The attendents need to take a course on spoken English and how to be polite . Entertainment set Sucks! Only Chinese stuff. Need to add more English on a international flight. Could do a better job cleaning the toilets !!"

Cons: "Rude staff at PEK. Very unhelpful in dealing with a missed connection."

Pros: "I have to admit my 24+ hour travel didn't help too much. I really the airline is good. The staff could be a bit more responsive to its guest, especially on such a long trip. The food selection is good, however, with a flight to LAX I would suggest the airline have more western selection for food options. Overall, my expectations were met."
Cons: "Our flight was changed on both our flight to BKK and LAX. It would have been nice to have enough notice to make sure accommodations and travel arrangements were made accordingly. Leg room is quite uncomfortable in economy."

Pros: "Stuff was friendly and provide newspaper in English. The food was good and served promptly. The flight departs and arrived on time."
Cons: "We were not be able to find our luggage on carousal. Because we spent a lot of time to get through passport control it was servicing other airline. The place to ask the question about the luggage has been closed. Finally in almost 2 hours with help of baggage floor service man we found it with some others people luggage."

Cons: "Announcements in Chinese (OK) but when live and not the tape one could not tell wheather the stewardess was talking in Chinese or English until she would say....thank you Need to improve their English, little difficult to communicate with them, otherwise very polite, attentive and clean."

Cons: "Terrible service (worse than United...!!) Cattle food."
