Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Nothing. I’ll never do business with Delta again. Not even to make use of the $80.00 voucher credit they extended. Delta San Antonio manager Delphine is an awful representative of customer service, and a horrible person!"
Cons: "I should have never flown Delta."
Pros: "No middle searing."
Cons: "The tv did not work. The temperature was hot the whole flight. No airflow."
Cons: "It was fabulous as always! Thank you. I love Delta!"
Pros: "It was an intern final destination and the boarding crew answered all my questions and put me at ease."
Cons: "Everything was perfect."
Pros: "The crew were awesome and friendly, both in the air and on the ground."
Cons: "Delta communicated no reasoning for delaying our flight three hours. They also did not update estimated departure times even when it was clear we would be delayed multiple times because the plane was not at the gate, the crew were not in place, and the pilot safety checks had not occurred."
Pros: "The flight attendant (age gentleman) with the quite sense of humor, and converse with a measure of ease. A role model for others, a nice aptitude than one can learn from."
Cons: "Just keep up the good work and always work towards self development. Treat others the way you would like to be treated, with respect."
Pros: "Nice plane, good service and pilots, great landing - no issues at all."
Pros: "Crew was great"
Pros: "Delta crews are very friendly and helpful. Seats are 'good' on the E175 plane - better than the cramped CRJ200 on some other short flights. We boarded early, left a little early and arrived early. Nothing to complain about, except maybe a crying baby behind me, but that's not Delta's fault. :)"
Cons: "Delayed 2 hours, huge inconvenience"
Cons: "Reclining seats"
Pros: "Everything. Food, staff, checking in. All were great"
Cons: "Would have preferred they let me choose a window seat. I wasn’t given the option"
Pros: "The crew was great. Flight was on time. Although crowded, boarded went smoothly."
Cons: "Checking bags in Reno was a bit chaotic. Only one representative was there to assist when we arrived an hour before the flight. When others arrived to assist, people went directly to counter and were helped before those of us who had been waiting in line. My seat back screen did not work ."
Pros: "The crew was totally understanding with the huge delay."
Cons: "The communication from Delta on the delay."
Pros: "Clean, new interior. Nice entertainment options and nice screen. Lots of options for charging devices."

Cons: "The landing was somewhat frightening."
Pros: "Everyone is working the gate and on the plane were amazing!"
Pros: "Great friendly crew. Great entertainment with movies on a short narrow body flight!"
Cons: "Boarding and disembarking was again slow. Must be a cultural thing as each flight in the US seems to be like this as people take ages to get their bags organised on arrival. Chaotic boarding is compounded by the back of the plane boarding last.... everywhere else in the world loads everyone together or does the back of the plane first and it's much quicker!"
Cons: "Small seater aircraft was cramped"
Pros: "the trip going to cancun was an absolute nitemare.... the phone situation was less than acceptable... call back times horrific incorrect postings of new schedules.... late postings of new schedules...."
Cons: "the trip going to cancun was an absolute nitemare.... the phone situation was less than acceptable... call back times horrific incorrect postings of new schedules.... late postings of new schedules...."
Pros: "Good service, more leg room than American Airlines."
Cons: "Everything was good."
Cons: "Step stairs, no help getting up or down. You should use a Laeger plane and a jet bridge. It was awful down and up and down stairs, then walking across the tarmac, not sanded,NOT SHOVELED. Have you gone mad?"
Pros: "Flight was comfortable and the crew was professional and friendly."
Cons: "1 Entertainment system was not working correctly. It shut down twice during the movie. I had to re boot the system twice."

Pros: "Quick flight!"
Cons: "Didn't realize the last seat on the plane doesn't mean back."
Cons: "Seatsnare ridiculously tight for a 6ft man."
Pros: "I called ahead to get a seat assigned. I suffer from minor claustrophobia and the lady at the call center was kind enough to seat me somewhere spacious."
Cons: "Snacks could be better. Although the biscoff cookies are excellent and the crew was on their game making sure we had our snacks. I wish that for a flight as long as NY to MIA, they would offer more of a meal."
Pros: "Kept on time."
Cons: "The flight attendant was completely rude to me when I was getting a pacifier for my baby out of my luggage during boarding and all of the captains announcements were garbled, rapid and unable to understand."
Pros: "Short flight just snacks. Was able to get a seat on standby for an earlier flight cutting my total travel time down by a couple hours. Very helpful gate agents"
Pros: "Great crew"
Pros: "Made friends on the way to Maine!"
Pros: "Great flight!"
Pros: "Delta is a mess to check in. Check in on line, print boarding passes then stand for an hour to get bag checked, in Cleveland an. urn ind almost as long in Austin. Terrible"
Pros: "Departing on time and clean"
Cons: "There was no screens, all the other airlines have screens, but that wasn't my problem and I got coloring book and crayons for me daughter, so she can play with them, but my issue was that when they gave snack to everyone and I didn't get anything and then I told the other flight attendant that I didn't get my snack and still she didn't get it, she said she was going to get it and didn't come back :(( I was really disappointed with that, they r old and forget things, so our line 19 nobody got anything .. i like delta was I wasn't happy this time with it"
Pros: "Get a day in NYC"
Cons: "Two daytime flights booked so can't get to Bangor until the 9:00 pm flight tonight. Aitline only coveted one night at the hotel. Had to buy a second night so we don't have to carry our bags around all day."
Pros: "Efficient boarding. Friendly service."
Pros: "Smooth flight and always a plus to see a beautiful smile throughout the trip from our Flight Attendant Stefany!"
Pros: "New and improved food options!"
Cons: "Boarding took more time than usual. They were able to accommodate less carry on baggage."
Pros: "Crew remained positive and apologetic for the long delay."
Cons: "Lack of notice that there was no Pilot, maybe let people know so we can be less stressed about leaving as well as arriving on time when others depend on you to."
Pros: "Friendly staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate me whenni arrived late for boarding."
Pros: "When I was finally able to get on a later flight this was a very good one"
Cons: "The cancellation of original flight was stressful as I had a wedding to attend and the long delay and subsequent cancellation of original flight prevented me from it. Further, I was forced to get local transport after arrival in FLL, since I missed my ride altogether."
Pros: "Lots of movies available!"
Cons: "One small bag bag of peanuts?!?"
Pros: "Lots of room, free beer, extra snacks, quick boarding"
Cons: "Exit rows in main cabin have much more leg room. Food was good but could have bought better food to bring with me on the plane and not spend as much money. Still have to pay for wifi. Basically the only perks are a wider seat and some extra snacks."
Pros: "Very clean and plane was not crowded!"
Cons: "Food and beverage service, but we completely understand with COVID 19"
Pros: "Crew was great"
Pros: "Crew was awesome, friendly, tentative, and welcoming."
Cons: "Screaming kid in the background, wouldn't stop the entire flight."
Cons: "Armrests were broken. No outlets or USB ports to charge."
Pros: "Miami based cabin crew were nice, but they sat in the back of the plane and talked to each other then whole flight. Pretty unprofessional. Chicago based crew from start to finish were fantastic."
Cons: "Miami crew from checkin to boarding were rude, demeaning and unhelpful in this extreme situation. Really rude, particularly the gate boarding pass girl. Haven't you learned your lesson about being rude to passengers yet? I won't be choosing AA again. Your loss, I fly a lot."
Cons: "The flight was delayed for two hours"
Pros: "The ground crew worked really hard to get us going."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 1.5 hours."
Pros: "Crew was amazing. Very helpful and very happy."
Cons: "Cannot think of anything at this time."
Pros: "We eventually made it to our destination, with our luggage!"
Cons: "Better update on delays. Seats are horribly uncomfortable especially for international flights. Food was a joke, dinner was mediocre and breakfast was a cold snack, you can do better. Please consult with airlines that rank in the top ten about how to do things. You already make a huge profit, stop squeezing your customers for more. Maybe you won’t be ranked amongst the worst airlines in the world anymore. Second bad international experience with AA. Never again."
Cons: "Taxi time on both ends were ridiculously long."
Pros: "Easy boarding, smooth flight, friendly staff."
Cons: "Small plane, kept hitting my head on overhead bins"
Pros: "Nothing. This was the worst flight I’ve ever been on."
Cons: "Pretty much everything. The flight was delayed for mechanical reasons. Then they boarded us and we sat for 3 hours on the tarmac because one of the air conditioning packs was broken. When we finally arrived, I found out my bag was lost. The worst flight of my life."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled, some staff I dealt with to rebook had some attitude issues, others where fine. Overall not very transparent throughout the process. Definitely could've been much more helpful."
Cons: "The security check line was about a mile long at the Terminal 1, but that's not the airline's fault."
Pros: "On time. Friendly and attentive staff."
Cons: "Entirely too crowded."
Pros: "For me, a flight is “excellent” anymore if it’s on time and no one gets booted off the plane. Both flights were early!"
Cons: "Didn’t look he the free snacks."
Pros: "the crew was excellent .... cudos to the flight attendant ... she was both kind and sensitive to our needs."
Cons: "Boarding the plane in DC was less than desirable ... a bus took us to the plane"
Cons: "3 hours delay, NOT entertainment at all, this is ridiculous! The dinner was regular, but breakfast was terrible."
Cons: "We boarded a bit late. No big deal. Once on, however, they made us deboard because they forgot to do a security check. Oops. Flight attendants made the experience much better -- funny, enthusiastic, hard-working."
Pros: "We arrived safely and so did our luggage."
Cons: "PHL-Lisbon plane left 3 hours late due to CATERING problem. Seats were uncomfortable and food was awful. Lights and entertainment controls at my seat didn’t work."
Pros: "Delays, delays, delays. An initial delay of 1.5 hours due to a switched plane. Then they needed mechanics to check out a bird hit to the plane. That took another 3 hours to happen. And they boarded us first, then found the issue, deplaned us, had a gate switch and then the wait. Very frustrating! Once on board, everything went smoothly as it typically does."
Cons: "The long delay"
Cons: "The flight was delayed an hour (which wound up being a 3.5 hour delay in total, with all the continual delays that pursued afterwards(, which would have made us miss our connecting flight back to our home destination. We switched flights in order to make it home at a decent hour and not spend our entire day and night in an airport. We arrived home and they did not transfer two of our three checked bags to our flight, thus making it highly inconvenient upon our arrival home with no luggage."
Pros: "efficiency of terminal and flight changes at Dallas-Fort-Worth excellent. valet service and complimentary checked standard carry-on bag."
Cons: "Didn't know about close connections and terminal changes until printing boarding passes. Snack offerings are minimal one almost all airlines for regular fares. a tiny wafer cookie or about 5 mini-pretzels are not very impressive. I wold much prefer peanuts to pretzels--an option would be good. The gate of outgoing flight to Bloomington kept changing on phone m messaging shortly before takeoff , about 6 gate changes in 10 minutes. Confusing!"
Cons: "Made us wait over 2 hours on the tarmac before take off inside the airplane."
Cons: "Being so late"
Pros: "In flight entertainment is good."
Cons: "Leg room is getting less and less. I’m 5’10” and couldn’t move my legs."
Pros: "Boarding and flight was on time."
Cons: "Your airline charges a significant amount for what is to be an upgraded seating experience. What a huge disappointment. Same number of seats as basic economy, same seat size as basic economy, no separation of any sort for the rest of economy main cabin. Will never fly American international again."
Pros: "Staff was great!"
Cons: "Seats were really uncomfortable up and reclined. Overhead baggage was full by the time I boarded and there was no enforcement of the carry-on baggage sizes... This needs to be addressed and contributed to our lack of comfort, noting this was the last leg of an 18 hour journey. My body still hurts today after a good nights sleep."
Cons: "Flight was overbooked"
Pros: "I am happy to have made it to my final destination."
Cons: "This was a disappointing experience to say the very least. The boarding process in Quito was chaotic to say the least. The AA staff did not make an effort to maintain any kind of order. My husband and I are both enrolled in the AA frequent flyer program and had at least 6 people cut in front of us while on-line. When we finally approached the AA representative, Dayana Gómez, She was rude and not helpful. Our seats on the UIO-Dallas flight did not even recline. We sat completely upright for the duration of the 6 hour overnight night flight into Dallas."
Pros: "It didn't take long for anything."
Cons: "I do not like that I am missed my flight and got stuck in a city without any re-embersement. I usually use United, but decided to use American Airlines this time. Sleeping in an airport tonight. Thanks."
Pros: "Cabin was clean. Flight attendants were courteous."
Cons: "Their snacks were merely a cookie which was okay, but not what I would have wanted."
Pros: "Seats were comfortable."
Cons: "Two hour plus delay in plane on tarmac then long flight with entertainment not working. Crew could care less."
Cons: "I did not like that the airline would not give a seat on an earlier flight so that I would not have to spend so many hours in the Chicago O'Hare airport. I did not like that the airport only allowed me thirty minutes of access to the internet. As a result, I could not work while I had to wait for my flight. Finally, I did not like that the airline lost or delayed my bag."
Pros: "Boarded on time, and was a quick flight."
Cons: "There were cabin pressure issues mid-flight that really hurt my head."
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "Delay taking off"
Pros: "I enjoyed the entertainment because I don't watch movies in the theater often. The movies I saw in-flight were recent films I've been wanting to see and made time pass fairly quickly."
Cons: "I'm not a giant, but there definitely was not enough leg room in the main cabin. I could not sit comfortably, especially in the middle seat."
Pros: "The entertainment selection was prolific, with many many movies to choose from including recent releases. The staff provided plenty of beverages to help the time slide by nicely. The seats had both USB and 110V power outlets which was awesome. The entertainment systems work with regular iPhone headsets which was good."
Cons: "Couldn't get our meal preference selected, Iberia page for the flight check-in didn't work at all, getting a page not found error. Then after calling Iberia, and getting the AA confirmation managed to at least get into AAs web site for the flight, but now it was apparently too late to change our food option, and AA wouldn't work with us at all, the phone agent event LIED on the phone suggesting we could talk to customer service at the airport to have them provide an appropriate meal option. The customer service line was CORDONED OFF at LAX, and getting help out of their agents was like trying to get blood from a stone. The worst customer service experience I've ever had, even than Comcast. Then, I guess this ticket is economy minus, you have to pay more for seats that aren't at the total arse end of the plane. WTF. Economy means economy, not the back end of economy, but now you gotta pay to "upgrade" to regular economy. I can't imagine what that must have been like for families of four with children who are being extorted just so they can sit together. Then at the airport, despite having been assigned a gate, the plane came into a different gate, and we're just sitting there slowly wondering more and more why there aren't many people around. Finally we have to go ask another airlines' desk where our plane is at (it never had a correct gate assignment on the monitors) to figure out where we had to board. No announcement, no agent at the old gate to direct passengers to the correct place. Upon traveling to London on the red-eye, they proceeded to keep the plane completely dark the entire trip. No attempt to help passengers adjust to the destination time zone at all. Trying to open a window resulting in being curtly asked to close it. Jet lag on eastbound transatlantic is bad enough without the airline making it worse. On the return journey the line for the gate was around the corner AFTER boarding had started, and people couldn't board in any sort of order. My entertainment system crashed, when they finally came round with food, I could ask them to reset it. Having paid for the Wifi, which is fine, it's an add-on service, it was difficult to connect to, my phone really struggled to bring up the sign-in page, and I had to reboot my laptop three times, clearing my browser cache to get it to connect. The connection and payment screens were very slow, which was because the wifi overall was very slow. I am sitting on the plane waiting to hear from my father about his critical surgery with my phone dropping on and off the wifi due to slowness and extreme packet loss (>50%). I had been hoping to get some work done on the flight, so much for that idea, I couldn't maintain a solid VPN connection for more than 5 minutes at a time. I will never fly AA again unless they are the last option at a non-horrible price. This was an emergency trip as it was, and booked through Iberia; thanks for nothing Iberia."
Pros: "Very nice gate crew, efficient boarding, quick and efficient takeoff"
Cons: "Found out that a lot of Argentinians do not obey the crew rules. Before the seatbelt sign turns off they already start moving to the front of the plane. But off course is not the airline duty to teach manners."
Cons: "Our flight from Washington DC to Lima had a connection flight in Colombia. Since the flight from DC was delayed for more than an hour we ended up missing our connection flight from Colombia to Lima, Peru. And from there everything went downhill. In Colombia they crew didn't know what was going to happen to us. After waiting over 3 hours they finally told us the found an early morning flight for us and that they were going to accommodate us in an hotel in Colombia for to spend the night. we waited until midnight for the transportation to the hotel and there were another 100 persons waiting to get transportation to the hotel as well and to check inn in the hotel. disaster."
Cons: "Gate personnel was not as accommodating. Didn't seem like they wanted to help."
Pros: "Everyone was helpful and friendly. It was my first trip, and I would do it again."
Pros: "Comfort, convienience. Great service. Will fly again."
Cons: "The delay"
