Pros: Great crew and very good legroom.
Pros: Everything was good, excellent. No complaint at all!
Cons: Perfect no further better service, I suppose.
Pros: A comfortable flight, with fine service.
Cons: The connectioning flight was slightly late, but just enough to make it a mad dash through customs and to the furthest possible gate on the opposite end of the terminal. Not within the airlines control, but unnecessarily hectic
Pros: Crew, food, comfort, entertainment and many good things
Cons: I love everything
Pros: The employees were soooo nice and friendly
Cons: Wheelchair service
Pros: Lots of room, good food, friendly staff
Cons: No complaints at all
Cons: would not accept my confirm check in on line
Pros: Excellent service and food!
Pros: The best flight I took this trip - clean, courteous, on time. I wish they flew in continental US :))
Pros: Great legroom. Food better than last Korean Air flight a few years ago.
Cons: Changed to smaller aircraft, last row in the aeroplane.
Pros: Great service on board and the shiny new Terminal 2 at ICN didn't hurt!
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: Friendly service
Cons: Not enough movie selection and the food selection
Cons: The plane was way too hot! Being trapped in a stuffy plane for 5 hours and sweating was the worst!
Pros: Great flight crew, speedy and efficient departure procedure
Cons: Flight was delayed 4 hours and I had to miss my connecting flight.
Cons: Flight was delayed 9 hours and we were never given one update, after about 5 hours they moved up to the smallest most remote gate they could and removed staff, again no updates, any information came from rumors people could get out of random employees
Pros: I dont have somebody sitting beside me
Cons: Boarding and Food
Pros: Korean Air staff was great. I fly Korean when flight prices are reasonable. Stsff helped me as I need assistance as a disabled passenger. Plan to fly again to BKK and back next summer and will fly KA again if price is competitive.
Cons: Flight to BKK was on 747s my favorite plane.
Pros: they are so nice and helpful
Pros: Everyone is so helpful and when I have questions anyone is ready to answer.
Pros: Attentive service, very detail oriented to avoid any mistakes for the traveler
Pros: Korea Airlines is the best!
Pros: Plane did not have vents, it was about 80 in the plane too hot. When it was mentioned, crew could do nothing about it
Pros: The staff was friendly and even though it was a quick flight they still provided a light meal. They were very efficient getting people on and off the plane.
Pros: Always love Korean Air - courteous, attentive and professional ! Loved the ice cream they served to prep you for that Hong Kong heat!
Pros: I liked the spacious seating, up to date entertainment and snacks, plus food even though a short flight. I found the male stewards on this flight a lot more helpful I'm not saying the women weren't as well. Gender balance is good. Overall everytime I have flown Korean Air the service has been exceptionally pleasant and I feel confident and safe. Knock on wood I hope they keep striving for excellence and not lose it along the way like so many other airlines over the years.
Cons: The constant interruptions of messages while watching movies. All the lights along the ceiling of the plane seem to be a lot brighter on day and night flights. Softer lighting be a little bit more comforting to the eyes, besides don't each seat have its own light source if extra lighting is needed!
Pros: Lots of room, most space I have ever seen in an economy class. Nice attendants and good food.
Cons: Every Korean flight I had this trip was delayed. Created problems when Korean Air gives you 1 hour to transfer at Incheon. When transferring, all passengers need to go through security again and there are long lines. Airport attendants were not nice and made us ask people to cut in line. After running through the airport, we then find out the plane was delayed an hour to accommodate other delayed connections! They could have told us this before but only rushed us off.
Cons: Lights in cabin too bright while serving meals. Could turn it down a notch
Pros: The crew are friendly, the flight was comfortable
Pros: Staff are first class....efficient, polite...anxious to please. very well organized flight.
Pros: The attention to detail and excellent service was better than I had expected. I was especially impressed by the stickers the cabin attendants used to notify sleeping passengers upon waking up that the meal/drinks were still available upon request.
Pros: KA broke handle in my luggage and it was difficult to make them pay back some reasonable amount of money for that (my suitcase was just one year old) but at the end they did a lot. Love their metal cutlery instead of plastic ones. It's not only better to eat with them but also better for environment.
Pros: The food, available movies, and crew were all very good. The crew did a wonderful job.
Cons: The flight was late for take off and I was disappointed that there was only one Japanese movie available for the flight.
Pros: I have flown with many airlines and Korean Air is by far the best airlines I have flown with. Great service, perfect locations.
Cons: China Air was alright. Just didn't like the whole running around the airport trying to figure out what counter to go to. Also I am not a big fan of getting transported via bus from terminal to plane
Pros: perfect service
Pros: Service counter check in was very helpful
Cons: The flight attendant didn't speak much English also they didn't tell the passengers to ascend the seat when serving the food.
Pros: Cleanliness. More leg room
Cons: Attitude of a couple of the airline stewardess toward me. They served the Korean citizens and deliberately overlooked me for snacks or coffee/tea. I had to ask thrice.
Pros: same as above
Cons: long wait for our baggage to be released to the conveyors after we had arrived
Pros: The plane was delayed but we appreciated Korean Airlines having staff waiting for all passengers that needed to catch their next flight. They helped us navigate through the airport to our connecting flight and sped us through security so we did not have to wait in line behind passengers that were not in a rush.
Pros: The movie selection
Cons: Let's start with the overrated leg space and seating comfort. It was cramped as with any other regular airline. Seats in the economy section are not comfortable and have no back support. These seats should have better cushions and back support. Our flight attendant had a bad attitude after we asked for wine and didn't offered us any beverages for at least two occasions. No warm towel either. She just skipped us like we were not there. The meals are just ok. Nothing remarkable. Then we stand in line for almost two hours after a 14.5 hours flight to get through immigration. The overall experience was not good at all and for that price the comfort and service should be much better.
Pros: The customer service was fabulous. There were a lot more amenities than I expected. Lots of variety of new movies to watch during the flight.
Pros: Very happy with flight. I haven't been disappointed with Korean Air, which I have chosen a couple times for my business trips to Thailland.
Cons: Normally the food is very good. This time the chicken and rice had a lot of fat on the meat. Other than that there were no problems.
Pros: This was my first trip abroad and Korean Air made it extremely enjoyable! I greatly enjoyed the pillow, blanket, overall hospitality, the continuous offers of food, snacks, and drinks. The planes were very nice and didn't seem over crowded. Ticket and baggage clerks were amazing!
Cons: More food options. Softer, roomier seats.
Pros: Comport and fast
Pros: Smooth landing and take off
Cons: Entertainment. Not able to choose and no wifi
Pros: Respectful crew
Cons: Crew are ok
Pros: Crew was great. I have flown on Asiana a few times before and they are always good. The Korean meal is the best airplane food I have had.
Cons: More movie choices. Game choices and cartoon series for kids
Pros: Asiana staffs are so great with good service!!
Cons: The entertainment selection was dated.
Pros: GREAT FOOD
Cons: NEED TO ORGANIZE BOARDING - IT WAS A NEAR RIOT IN MANILA
Pros: (Business class) Friendly, helpful crew. Very good food and a pretty comfortable and adjustable seat that was great for two passengers travelling together.
Cons: In flight entertainment system was a bit outdated.
Cons: It woul have been better if some of the crew treated everyone fairly. Some of them were kind of rude... and it would have been nice if we were fed more than twice. Me and my family got hungry during the flight and this is the first time that ever happened. We’ve been flying with asiana since 2016zz
Cons: No phone charger.
Cons: Too cold
Cons: Flight was late leaving San Francisco, connecting flight from Seoul to Manila was also late. Service was okay. Entertainment okay.
Cons: Transfer in Busan is a disaster
Pros: See comments above.
Cons: See comments above.
Pros: Very friendly crew.
Cons: Very uncomfortable seats.
Pros: Flight was not over crowded. Got to rest. Crew very helpful and friendly
Cons: Food disappointing
Pros: By whatever reasons, the ventilation system at one of chamber was out of work and the cabin was so hot that keeping swearing all over the flight.... The general English level of flight attendant or ground crew are not good and can’t response on non-standard question. Quite hard to communicate.
Cons: few new movies in the list
Pros: 2 free checked bags
Cons: Old, uncomfortable seats. No in-seat power. Weak entertainment options on tiny screens. 3-4-3 configuration means no seat is a good seat. No legroom. App sucks--good luck purchasing choice seats on it. Not enough beverage services; I was parched and desperate for water throughout. I hated my experience on this airline and will work to avoid on future trips to Asia.
Pros: The quality of food.
Cons: Boarding was confusing, not enough announcements.
Pros: The flight was half full which made it much more comfortable to stretch out and enjoy the long flight.
Cons: Comfortable seats
Pros: Crew was nice.
Cons: Seats not comfortable & smelled like vomit. Small selection on entertainment system.
Pros: After flight. No jet lag always a problem for me.
Cons: All was good
Pros: Good leg room, clean aircraft, short flight. I'm 6'2" and had good leg room. All you can ask for on a fairly short flight.
Pros: Staff is friendly smiles and goes the extra step to insure comfort
Cons: You pay extra for a bulkhead and they place a bassinet in your personal space. Seats lack cushion on A380
Pros: Helpful staff who regularly cleaned restrooms.
Cons: Minimal, unhealthy meals. Poor choice of beverages (no cartons of milk) and gloopy fried fish that was all batter. Tpe-Seoul meals were perfunctory boxes with no choices besides malodorous rice. Entertainment was very thin on movies and (jazz/classical) music, and the preview window was about one by two inches, ludicrously small. No English subtitles on most world or Asian movies.
Cons: Could use a little more movies.
Pros: It was an easy ride and was comfortable. No problem in using the screen to watch any show or movie.
Pros: The crew was very nice and attentive. Food was great.
Cons: The restroom was dirty, nobody cleaned during the whole trip. Movie selectins are limited for a 13 hr. Flt.
Pros: crew was very professional and pleasant. Plane was in excellent condition comfortable and clean
Pros: The staff are nice and friendly and courteous. Food is pretty good too.
Pros: I like the flight crew Filipina very helpful and one Korean Lady help me pulled my luggage over headed.
Cons: Delayed Flight but it's ok. My connection flight at night time anyway.
Pros: Roomy seats and comfortable. Nice staff. We definitely recommend to our friends to fly with this airline.
Pros: Excellent first experience with Asiana... The flights were on time, the flight attendants were kind and helpful, AND my vegan meal was very tasty! Will definitely be flying with you guys again :)
Cons: Entertainment console was broken.
Pros: Clean planes attentive attendants good service
Pros: Crew friendly and helpful. Plane clean, food not great but decent. Takeoff right on tme.
Cons: Cramped seating, no leg room, made for a long, uncomfortable 11 hour flight. Small selection of movies.
Pros: The flight attendants were very nice and the on-board entertainment options were decent enough. I had the gluten free meal plan which was ok. The ladies were very organized and I got my meal before the rest of the plane.
Cons: The plane was delayed so our supposed hour and a half layover turned into a mad mad dash across the airport and through security, again. It would have been extremely helpful if they could have gotten the two handfuls of us passengers off before everyone else so we could get to our connecting flight with the same airliner...
Pros: Got a court date and want to change the flight date. The cost to change the flight cost more than buying a new ticket. So stayed home instead and lost the purchase ticket.
Pros: Very professional and attentive staff.... Probably the best airline I have every experienced
Pros: I like everything in it. The flight was excellent. Relaxing!
Cons: Nothing serious to mention.
Pros: l like the flight schedule and shutter bus to airport. staff was friendly and polite.
Pros: Courteous staff
Cons: Can't order special meal online, have to call them. Food was very bad with limited variety
Cons: I don't have the exact flight times but flight from Seattle to Korea was suppose to arrive in Korea at around 18:00 and leave for Ho Chi Ming at 19:00. It arrived after 18:00, boarding was suppose to be at 18:40 but by the time I was able to get on the rail to the main station it was 18:40. Luckly a crew member had a sign and was calling out "HCMC". Luckily I am in good shape because we ran through the airport to the next connection as they were getting ready to close the plane doors. Need to have someone walk and time, the time of arrival from Seattle into Korea, onto the rail, to the main station and distance to gate 40. You may very well miss your flight.
Pros: Food and professional flight crew
Cons: Slightly uncomfortable seats
Pros: I had a great time during my flight from istanbul to Seoul . My seat didn't recline and cabin crew immediately helped and took me to a business class as an apology . They were very responsive to any time i needed help . And the food was amazing . Even the economy class gets gourmet meals .
Pros: Good service Easy to board Flight attendant awesome
Cons: The seat needs more space and comfort for long flight. A321 is too small for long flight.
Pros: Smooth flight
Cons: Very tiny seats, tough for a westerner.
Cons: No entertainment, no place to plug in devices, extremely uncomfortable. The worst part was the Dixie cup of water served. Really?!? A bottle or larger cup would have broke the bank? Was so thirsty by the time we landed even though I had the attendants bring me water three times.
Pros: Crew was polite
Cons: Food and entertainment
Pros: Got upgraded to first class, there wasn’t any TVs but it was only an hour long flight. Staff was also really nice
Cons: Magazines or tv.
Cons: Bad ticketing system. Too narrow seat position. Crews are using too strong perfume. Bad altitude changing. Overally it was worst experience in my life.
Pros: Good value for the money. Flight crew was young and exuberant, very willing to make the passengers journey as comfy as possible. Surprised an inflight meal and two checked bags were included in my fare. Other international carriers would have charged extra! Hope this Korean Air economy carrier sticks around. Hope to fly them again!
Cons: The plane was on the old side with worn seat cushions. Not the most comfy for long haul flights. No pillows, blankets or inflight entertainment. Do bring your own blanket or jacket and do not forget the snacks!
Pros: Food was good quality and good portion for the duration of the flight.
Cons: Seat were smaller than Korean air everything else feels like any other budget airline
Pros: Wide leg room, nice customer service and most importantly being able to check in baggages up to 15kg for free!!!
Cons: Bad service
Cons: We were delayed three hours
Pros: Service and crew
Cons: It was a older plane with very little legroom. I’m 5’7”
Pros: We were actually on Korean Air, not Jin Air due to our change in schedule. Korean Air staff in Hanoi were truly excellent. They even followed thru so that staff in Seoul assisted us with our connection. We were very impressed. Korean Air's flight attendants have always been professional and courteous. The level of service is superior to most airlines we've used.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Ancient plane! It still has ashtray!
Cons: Please indicate in bold print which airline you check in with if two or more are listed! Due to the ambiguity on our reservation we nearly missed our flight. Many other passengers on this flight had the same problem.
Cons: The flight was suppose to be a direct flight but we end up stoping at Hongkong. We were on the plane for over 12 hours instead of 5 hours and 20 mins.
Cons: I was just put on whatever seat was available.
Pros: the trip with Jin air from Clark was good, the trip from Inchon was good
Pros: Great flight, good service
Cons: It was all fine.
Pros: This was a codeshare with JinAir. The staff was friendly and helpful. The plane was small, but thankfully there were plenty of open seats so it felt spacious.
Pros: It's what you expect from a budget airline. Was actually happy they had food.
Cons: The food was not good at all. The seats were uncomfortable. There is no entertainment.
Pros: Comfortable seats.
Pros: Good for a short hop from Korea to Japan
Pros: I paid for Korean air tickets only to realize I got cheap flight on Jin air. I puposely paid more for a real airline. Not some tiny seat budget airline that can't even serve a proper meal. This is the last time I buy on kayak!
Pros: The crew were so accommodating
Cons: No entertainment and the food is few and no other choice for free drinks
Cons: Delay from Japan to Korea 7 hours.
Pros: Thy got us there (an hour late).
Cons: Poor food. Soda is extra charge. Flight crew was in bluejeans. Boarding passes only available at the airport at the time of the flight. No legroom.
Cons: Very tight on legroom.
Cons: No TV
Cons: I could only check-in 2 hours before hand and that annoyed me because it's very stressful to check-in that close to departure and get through security and customs. I was especially upset that I booked my flight with Korean Air and didn't find out it was actually with Jin Air and I could could not check in with Korean Air.
Cons: It was quite late
Pros: It was awesome
Pros: IT was ok
Pros: The only positive about this flight was the cleanliness of the aircraft.
Cons: Flight attendants are dismissive of their non korean passengers. Flight was late in departing from Angeles.
Pros: Friendly staff. Good snack!
Cons: The flight was delayed due to weather almost missed my connecting flight to New York but the crew was helpful. Really appreciate the flight attendants help.lo
Pros: Got me there on time.
Cons: Tight fit, no food o entertainment unless purchased on aord.
Pros: Crew was social and friendly. Great job on a long flight.
Pros: Friendly service from the crew
Cons: Seats were small with no leg room
Pros: when I tried to to make changes to my trip they asked me for three hundred and fifty Dollars so I called Korean air changes were made at NO EXTRA charge
Cons: Korean airlines ignored my wife's request for a wheel chair. She explained that she was a diabetic and was feeling dizzy. They did allow her access to a short cut through the terminals; however she had collapsed, broke her watch, cover to the cell phone, injured both legs and right arm. She kept yelling for help and no one arrived, she managed while in intense pain to get up make her flight. When she arrived in Bangkok she went immediately to the Emergency Room and received treatment. I am appalled at the indifference of the members of the boarding crew that didn't offer assistance to my wife.
Pros: No entertainment on the flight at all, food was ok. Lucky that I got bump to prestige otherwise I will have comment on seat as well
Cons: Delayed for over 2 hours Staff not accomodating Staff dressed unprofessionally
Pros: I would not use Gin Air in the future. Will stay with Koran Air.
Cons: Nothing was good about the flight. Sub standard . Transfer was not good either.
Cons: Almost everything. Jin boarding system is suck. They can't give me the boarding pass for the transit flight and they don't know what should I do when I am going transit. This is even more frustrating when the flight is delayed and you have 1 hour of international flight transiting. Food is cool and tasteless. I won't fly with Jin air ever again. I would say that after all these years of at least 70000 miles of air traveling. This is the WORSE of my experience.
Cons: No movies, one small snack, this was a 6 hour flight
Pros: I am a frequent flyer internationally and domestically in the USA, and flown multiple airlines but have never ever felt offended by a flight crew until my return flight to the US from Clark airport in the Philippines scheduled to depart on 1-13-2016 at 11:55pm. The cabin flight stewardess in her navy blue top and jeans asked me to sit down when she saw me standing at the front of the plane while the plane was cruising. There was no turbulence at that time, the seat belt sign was off and the captain did not announce a need to stay seated with the seat belt on. I explained that my back and left leg hurts so I needed to stretch, shake it off and stand. She insisted that I sit for my safety. I did not argue because I did not want to cause trouble. Then I asked her for the toilet which was behind her, hidden as she keeps the curtain pulled around the toilet and galley. She directed me to the tail of the plane when I am seated at #28B at first row at the front of the plane, 4-5 steps away from me. She kept still, standing in front of the toilet until I walked away to the back of the plane. Again, I did not complain nor argue. I thought to myself that maybe the front toilet if off limits to passengers. Then later when I returned to my seat, I watched all other passengers who appear of her same race and talked same language as hers, pull the curtain covering the toilet and galley, use the toilet and get drinks from her freely. I felt very offended that I was not allowed to use this toilet as every one else have and did not receive the same friendly service as those passengers. I wanted to keep to myself about this but I realized I was treated unequally. So I told her that I was offended that she directed me to the back of the plane to use the toilet while everyone else used the front of the plane toilet. I also told her I felt I was not treated equally and felt very hurt. She kept apologizing after I explained how I feel but her apology does not take away the fact that I was treated differently and unequally. I advised her that she should not treat her passengers as if we are ignorant of flying, of our rights and of flying etiquette. She kept apologizing every time she passes by me throughout the flight but this did not ease my feelings at all. This was the last blow to my dissatisfaction with this trip beginning with the 2-hour flight delay. With many other airlines flying to Clark airport in the Philippines, I choose not to fly Jin Air again. In fact, I already booked with another airline today for my next trip with my family in 6 months for a wedding. I will not recommend Jin Air to everyone I know.
