Cons: Food and service.Read more about Asiana Airlines
Cons: Food and service.
Pros: To be honest I liked everything from the speed of boarding to food and entertainment systems. Seats were roomy too.
Pros: The FAs were all awesome & helpful. Restrooms were clean all the time. They even carried my sister’s hand carry luggage to the waiting cart upon arrival in Incheon.
Cons: LAX boarding gate was awful. We walked up to boarding area which was soooo far. Then rode a shuttle w very very limited seats so my disabled sister had to stand in the crowded shuttle before walking again to another boarding area. It was horrible.
Cons: check in process
Pros: I got upgraded to business seat on the way from danang to seoul:)
Cons: Food was not that good
Pros: Good service
Cons: Update new movie
Pros: Crew was nice and food was not that bad either
Cons: Change the color of the seats. Brown is not that nice
Pros: Such a pleasant flight compared to the 3 other flights I had taken on this trip. The crew were friendly and food was delicious!
Cons: Better/more snack options.
Cons: 2 hour delay from Incheon to Tokyo. Messed up our travel plan a bit.
Pros: Even coach had plenty of room
Cons: Appreciate that there was food in flight but the taste left much to be desired. The entertainment selection was extremely sparse and could have been much better with English subtitles.
Pros: Cabin, seat, and aircraft comfortable but not at all luxurious.
Cons: Service was really bad, the toilets were filthy; in this regard probably the worst business class experience in recent years.
Pros: Left almost on time arrived early. Baggage transfer was great. Cabin crew provided needed entry forms promptly. Great flight
Cons: No vegetarian food I’d you didn’t pre-order 24 hours in advance. I couldn’t check in online so preorder not an option. Boarding started late on both flights
Cons: The food. Aused from the serving size, only 2 meal and 1 small snack served for the whole 12 hr flight. Got my gastric pain acting up. FA wasn't also very pleasant. Toiletries wasn't replace when they ran out especially d papers for seat covers.
Pros: Crew was very friendly and accommodating, even on a short flight. Food was also great.
Cons: This plane was a bit older so I had issues with my seat--controls for the leg rest and to lean the seat back were jammed so I couldn't adjust during the flight.
Cons: That made me stay overnight in Korea.
Cons: Transfer in Busan is a disaster
Pros: Our flight is only Incheon to Narita and later that night our final destination is LAX. I have checked in to Singapore Airlines the day before our flight. While checking in at the Incheon airport, the ground attendant ask me for my final destination. After a few minutes, shw mentioned that our baggage will be picked up at LAX. I was so relieved since this trip was 3 weeks with 3 50lbs luggage and 2 10 lb backpacks. I imagined going to Japanese Immigration again and explaining the reason for the entry. Because of this our layover is seamless. Star Alliance made it so easy for us to take their airlines anytime. Kudos to Star Alliance. Oh, the legroom is roomy for Economy! Nothing can compare with their airbus. I am only 5foot1inch and its like having a lounging chair. My husband whose 5’10” is happy with the space. Thanks for thinking of your passengers!
Cons: It is minor thing only. Their headphones does not work. Which is not an issue since I always bring headphones and buds for our long haul flights!
Pros: Service, food and legroom, cleanliness
Cons: Crew are attentive, service is good.. food is good and legroom is better than most airlines.. The aircraft is warm and I had to call the attention of the FA and she took care of it.. I am surprised, being a gold member does not give you any priority regarding boarding.. Hopefully this will be addressed, especially to loyal clients..
Pros: Great airline, plenty of space. Crew was super nice and helpful
Cons: Airplane food isn’t great where ever you go
Pros: leg room was better than most.
Cons: seat cushions were kinda hard
Pros: Comfortable journeys without getting tired
Cons: Receiving Travel miles is only concern
Pros: Meal was surprisingly fresh & tastey.
Cons: Seats not comfortable. Entertainment system minimal selection.
Pros: On time
Cons: The air was not pure it circulated and I got sick next time make sure the ac is working properly and there was no choice for food selection it the same during the entirety flight the flight attendants did not understand English I have to point or using signs language
Pros: Good leg room, clean aircraft, short flight. I'm 6'2" and had good leg room. All you can ask for on a fairly short flight.
Pros: The plane interior was in much better shape compared to my other Asiana trip. Flight attendants on this plane was much more courteous compared to my other asiana flight
Pros: Great modern, spacious and quiet plane Airbus 380, great entertainment options.
Pros: We really enjoyed the size and comfort of the Airbus 380. Very quiet and powerful as we crossed the Pacific Ocean. The crew were very helpful and always friendly throughout the entire 11 hours back home.
Cons: not enough water provided old outdated plane, seats not very comfortable
Pros: Friendly crew good ife. Economy will never be spacious but they manage to make it comfortable.
Cons: Chicken burrito on an intra Asian flight?!? Was looking forward to something Asian.
Pros: Flight was great, food was what you'd expect but above average if you have no expectations. Crew was nice and entertainment had a wide selection of recent movies. Comfort was ok and complimentary blankets could be requested.
Cons: Only issue I had was the person siting next to me putting their elbows and feet into my portion of the seat. Asked her to move and she complained. This is an expected attitude if you fly anywhere with mainland Chinese passengers . If escalated it would result in her screaming and complaining. But it is an Asian airline and I can't control the passenger who choose to fly so I can't complain too much. Still would recommend to friends.
Pros: Overall, most liked , the food
Cons: Nothing encountered so far
Cons: Entertainment console was broken.
Cons: The service was excellent.
Pros: I didn't expect there to be a meal & in-flight movies on what I considered to be a relatively short flight. It was a nice treat!
Pros: Entertainment was good, legroom was good, staff was very friendly both at the check in and on the plane
Cons: I wasn't able to check in online, kiosk didn't work for me, and had to wait in several long lines before I finally got my ticket in hand. The help was lost among the crowd and it was unclear where they were and how they could be flagged down.
Pros: Two and a half hour flight but full meal still served. Good selection of movies.
Cons: Cramped seating
Pros: The company called one travel agency quoted $1,000.00 per ticket from Vancouver to tokyo. I purchased 3 tickets but in about 3 weeks later I find out that they cancelled it. I complained about it and they asked if I wanted to purchase the same tickets from the same flight and seas for $1,500.00. Because I wanted to save $50 (Air Canada was $1,050.00 through Travelocity at the time), I had to pay $1,400.00 for Air Canada ticket 3 weeks later. I will never fly ANNA or deal with travel one. Even though it is a little more expensive I will only deal with reputable company such as travelocity.
Cons: No vegetarian option for meals like most other flights have these days. On the return flight I even tried to book one online and could not find where/how to do it. I also asked upon check in and was told it takes 2 days at least to request a veggie meal. This is really pathetic considering I'm flying from a part of the world that has a high Buddhist population.
Pros: THE staff were really nice and kind.
Cons: Not enough snack small amount of wine usually you get 1 small bottle. NOT enough movies choice. No control on the air over your head.
Pros: I particularly liked the seamlessness of the experience - from the downtown checkin and getting a boarding pass at Seoul station, taking the AREX, the efficiency and competence of the front line personnel, etc. I will recommend Asiana and I would consider taking them long distance except that I am a goldcard frequent flier with American/British/Cathay for many years now. Chicago talks about seamlessness in its airport experience but its train-to-the-plane is the chronic weak link.
Cons: Nothing - I'd tell you if there was. I didn't bother with entertainment for a two-hour flight and I was already well into a really eloquent novel (I'll Be Right There) by Kyung-Sook Shin; check it out
Pros: flights both ways were on time.
Cons: Had to pick up our own wheel chair at baggage claim instead of at the gate.
Pros: I enjoyed the Korean dish options and having metal silverware was a nice touch. The cabin crew was very attentive and friendly throughout the flight. The legroom was pretty good for a coach seat.
Cons: The boarding process was a little chaotic. There was a gate change at Pudong Airport and we had to leave from a lower level gate which involves bus ride to the plane. And there was a long wait after the initial bus until further busses came. Then we stayed on the ground for quite a while until we were allowed to take off, maybe one hour or more late.
Pros: Service is good.
Cons: Trying to make everything online and was not being able to make it easily. Confused in infirmations.
Pros: It's hard to say anything was good when the flight was cancelled.
Cons: 6:40pm Friday flight was delayed 2 hours, and when we finally boarded, pulled away from the gate, and were ready to takeoff, they announced the flight was cancelled because they can't meet the curfew at Narita Airport. Took us another hour to deplane, and another hour to go through immigration and customs (yes we had to do it again), and get our bags. Then they sent us to a hotel 30 mins outside Seoul (they told us it was 20), gave us a Lotteria fast food burger and asked us to be in the lobby at 4:50AM (it was already midnight). Bus didn't have enough space for everyone so they had to call a van too. When we arrived at the airport after our 30 min ride, the bus dropped us off on the wrong side and we all had to walk 15 mins to the opposite end of the airport to check in. Since the rescheduled flight was the first flight out, the airport was super busy and security lines were extra long. After all those lines there was barely enough time to get on the plane. Summary: from originally scheduled time until wheels up I waited in about 6 hours of lines or just sitting around,1 hour of bus rides, slept 3 hours, and ate one lousy burger. All of this for what was supposed to be a nice weekend trip to Tokyo, which chopped down to a 30 hour stay in Tokyo. These guys should have known what time they can pull away from the gate to make curfew. There's no reason why we all had to go through this extra aggravation. Turns out Asiana has been making really tight schedules to accommodate the summer peak season, and they just can't keep up.
Pros: The staff were excellent and very kind and attentive.
Cons: In flight headphones were way too big
Pros: I had a great time during my flight from istanbul to Seoul . My seat didn't recline and cabin crew immediately helped and took me to a business class as an apology . They were very responsive to any time i needed help . And the food was amazing . Even the economy class gets gourmet meals .
Pros: The flight overall was excellent, although our flight was a bit delayed from LA to korea. But nontheless the airline kept us informed. Service was excellent, the food was great. I would highly recommend Asiana to my relatives & friends.
Cons: We should have been allowed to sit near our family (wives). There was empty row but they wanted to charge us to move up. Ridiculous!!
Pros: Check in staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: Refused to serve me food when I woke up.
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: The flight took forever to land. Pilot said prepare for descent and we stayed in the air for another forty minutes. The air smelled awful. One of the worst flights I’ve ever taken.
Pros: I was able to purchase extended seat room for a reasonable price.
Cons: No free drinks or entertainment or anything to help pass the flight time.
Pros: Comfortable seat in emergency exit row!!
Pros: HK Express compensated for delay
Cons: Fight was delayed 2 hours
Cons: Terrible attitude from the staff
Cons: Sat on runway 2 hours and then bags delayed 1 hour
Cons: They didn’t offer any thing to drink, complimentary
Pros: Price was good and HK to Tokyo times were good
Cons: No entertainment on 5 hour flight
Pros: Nothing in particular.
Cons: They don't tell you that 1) you aend up paying more than other airlines charge by the time you add various 'extras'; and 2) you have to go through immigration because they are in another terminal. This means two hours of work, plus I missed my flight because I didn't have 3 hrs. They said my fault.
Pros: Good price to go HK to Tokyo
Cons: Flight attendant woke up a baby to tell passenger something and then baby cried for next hour No water unless you pay for it
Pros: The crew was very nice, seats comfortable and the airline seemed well run for a discount carrier.
Pros: Easy flight, nice crew
Cons: Budget airline. Have to buy drinks. Space between seats is tight. Spend the money for the seat with more leg room if you are average height or taller
Cons: IS THIS A WAY TO RUN AN AIRLINE? WHAT A BLANKING JOKE! People should notify Ralph Nader & PUT in a LAW or a LEGAL INSTRUMENT that MANDATES compensation to “We the People”, the consumers, the citizens, the customers, man. IF a flight leaves 1-15 minutes late = okay BUT IF a flight leaves > than
Pros: The web specials for prices
Cons: At least provide water to guests.
Cons: Service from the crew could have been better. This crew was not hospitable and we had to ask multiple times for our requests.
Pros: I wasn’t able to get the flight and the booking agent never amended this despite 2 weeks of emails and phone calls
Cons: Lastminute.com could have answered my emails
Pros: Low budget and efficient
Pros: Service was fine. Charged 50 usd for 21kg checked baggage. Food and beverage was not complimentary during flight.
Cons: Fine experience. Stuck next to obese traveler that forced me to lean into the aisle. My bad luck, not the airlines fault.
Pros: I just want a seat in a high season!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Friendly crew and very organized
Cons: Wish we didn’t have to buy water and entertainment lacked for a flight this long.
Cons: Made me do a ticket change because I used the first initial and not the full name for my middle name. Been flying 30 years and this is the first time I have had a problem. Won't take these bargain airlines again. It was my first time taking one. Same with my 6 year old's ticket as well.
Pros: Price was good.
Cons: Never boarded the plane! I was not notified that luggage check-in closed 1 prior to departure; who knew it would take luggage more than an hour to reach the plane... I checked-in already and was only a couple minutes past the cut-off; they wouldn’t check my luggage in. Instead of offering some solutions or let me pay extra for checking at the gate, I was told my flight was closed, I would have to re-book at full price. I was there before the posted boarding time with time to spare. To top it off, I received a phone call from them asking if I was on board the plane.. online chat with customer service, not helpful either, thenperson I was chatting with just ended the chat after telling me 1 minute past they went check in.
Cons: Although it was one e-ticket, I was surprised that HK express could not forward my luggage to my final destination. This almost caused me to miss my connection and caused me to pay twice for my extra luggage (which accumulated to a significant amount)
Pros: Easy boarding, and slept the flight.
Cons: It was the hidden prices after booking that ticked me off. Charged for seat after paying airfare, charged for any checked baggage, no in flight service without charge, and you arrive so late to HK you have to Bus or Taxi in. Not worth it.
Pros: It was a short flight.
Cons: Tried to save by booking a different carrier. When it can time to check in... I was charged for my seat, charged for a carry-on weighing more than 7kg and forced to check, chose not to pay for a meal, pay for a drink... so many hidden fees. Ended up not saving at all. No savings, no miles, no perks. Will always use an aliance (UA, Asiana, etc) or SkyTeam (Delta, Korean Air) from now on. I at least get my money’s worth.
Pros: I love when they have great deals on airfare. The late night flight works well for me.
Cons: Wish the air cooler was stronger and that water was served during the trip.
Cons: Budge airline, uncomfortable seats
Pros: Not much
Cons: Crew, plane, food wasn’t complementary and if you want to buy it you will be very disappointed.
Pros: On time
Pros: Price is good
Cons: No entertainment, no water
Pros: Cheap service out of Hong Kong
Cons: Lack of seat pitch
Cons: Due to their mistkes with connections and communication I never made it on my flight therefor the specific indicators way be inaccurate but I would say an overall terrible experience.
Pros: Clean cabin
Pros: The airport had an emergency shut down and we didn’t get notification about it. When we showed up in airport, the only accommodation was 250 Thai bhat Burger King vouchers that it’s not even enough to buy a drink after getting a burger.
Pros: On time departure and arrival, had priority boarding and check-in, you get what you pay for.
Pros: Professional staff
Cons: I did not like that there was no food or snacks given for the flight. Also did not like I had to pay for a drink of water.
Pros: Quick flight between HK & DaNang on time both directions. Convenient flight schedule. Smooth flight. Crew was friendly.
Cons: Had to purchase food, beverages but wasn’t really necessary due to short duration of flight
Pros: Flight departed on tme and arrived on time
Cons: got sick from food
Cons: Could not contact service team even Hong Kong office. They just sent email to let us know the delay, but nothing at all
Cons: Seats were very very uncomfortable
Cons: The light was delayed and we arrived in Chiang Mai at 11pm. We got penalty of late rental car pick up. And our hotel is a yoga resort so it a far in the mountain. We arrived at the resort at 2am and we had to wake everybody up and the driving was dangerous without street lights.
Pros: Cheap but on time
Cons: Too much promotion message
Pros: We landed safely and the crew were polite
Cons: Late on the way to Da Nang and very late on the way back (flight back to HK was a Hong Kong Express plane). Budget airlines are just not worth it at HKIA - your flights lands and takes off so far from the terminal, you are transferred by bus! No in flight entertainment- although not an issue on such a short flight.
Pros: It was cheap
Cons: Everything about it was not good and I will never fly them again
