Cons: "My departing flight was cancelled due to weather and the only alternative flight offered was 7 days later. I offered to travel to a nearby airport to fly to the same destination 8 hours later, but was told I would be charged a $800 change fee even though I could buy a new one-way ticket for $400. So I bought a new one-way ticket. Then Copa told me that because I would miss the original connecting flight in Panama (which was impossible to reach because they cancelled the first flight) they would cancel my return flights. They forced me to pay $400 extra on top of the full return fare for just a one way flight, while leaving me to pay for another one way fare at the last minute."

I would for sure use Copa Airlines for future South American trips"

Website was not working for 7 of the girls I was with either. Arrived to the airport over 2 hours early to ensure time for check in. Was told I no longer had a seat on the flight. Copa over booked the flight by 9 people. Was put on standby and luckily made it onto first leg of flight but they again took my seat away for the next leg of the trip. VERY upset. Will never fly this airline again."

Cons: "On a direct flight from Cartagena to San Francisco we were delayed by an hour on the runway then stopped in Cancun for unspecified reasons. The Captain said we prepared to stop for one hour to refuel but one of the flight attendants said it was to change crew, which seemed likelier given the crew did change. We sat there for an hour with no communication from the crew. When we landed in San Francisco we sat for over an hour waiting for an open gate and also had little to no communication about how long we'd be waiting. Baggage claim took 45 minutes. Overall service was poor and communication was terrible. No accommodation for the significant delays and no drink service while we were waiting despite not being able to bring liquids of our own on the flight."

Cons: "The supervisor was rude and had no compassion .. I had called cops to inform then that j was traveling to several country lies and what are the requirements . Since my husband is from Mexico and I am from the US.. They did not tell me about the shot for yellow fever that was required and I specifically called to get information .. If they would have told me to look for the unfortunate myself I would have. But I was told nothing was needed . Because if that I had to Wilbur at the airport and chafe all other flight I had to return to the US and ended up paying more than $600 .. I had to change Three flight add hotel charges.. It was a mess .. My itinerary FEXWK5 and FEWS4Z.."

We waited for 2 hours for the one bag that they said wasn’t lost to be brought out to baggage claims office and then we realized that the bag that was reported lost was actually the bag that they found. I went to update the list baggage report and the lady took one glance in the system and found the additional bag that we were told never made it on the flight in the baggage claim office after all although another baggage claim representative said it was missing 2 hours prior."

Cons: "I actually arrived early, which turned out to be a mistake, because Aeromexico moved the gate to the farthest possible new gate location while I was away getting a sandwich, which was itself delayed. When I noticed the change, I ran to the new gate and waited 10 minutes while they talked to the boarding people, who wouldn't let me on. After several hours of bag retrieval, having to buy a new full price ticket, having my cards declined due to the price and circumstances, having to go through 2+ wrong directions for each step of the process, determining that maybe one employee in five could speak even minimal English in an international airport, I finally got on a Delta flight. In sum, won't be flying on Aeromexico in future."

AM seats do not provide a footrest, and there is the lack of the IFE, which on a longer flight like mex-tij could have made the flight more enjoyable. Food, AM domestic business class food options are not the best, it was a turkey/cheese sandwich on a white bread with heavy mayo, and milk rice-while delicious, also very heavy on the sugar"

My family's shirts were soaked with sweat. Eggs were gross. And this was $500/tix for coach. I would rather fly Sprirt or a vlaue line than this."

Cons: "The staff was rude. Never in my life have I been treated this disrespectful. I felt very offended by the staffs attitude and actions to the point I felt discriminated because of my religion. Yearly my church flys with Aeromexico to Mexico and I've never had a problem but this year I felt very targeted . As I was checking in they told me that my luggage was 2 pounds over the weight they direct us to have it so the employee told us to go and take some items out , we moved from the line and he 'shooed' us away saying "no go all the way back" we did and when we tried to go back to check in another employee cut me off from going in line and told us she didn't care for what I had to say and to return to the back of the line. At this point I was already worked up from their behavior and my mother whom was traveling with me tried to calm me down. As we get to the from of the line the SAME guy who 'shooed' us had a customer who had an over weight luggage , BUT let him take out item right there and then with his luggage on the scale . Well my mother got upset because we didn't know what it consisted of to have that privilege. We get attended by the employee who cut me off and my luggage was still 1 pound over the weight limit and she instructed us to get out and take items out , we expressed to her that it wasn't fair how other people who were flying got the advantage of just doing it there and we asked why . She denied ever doing that and said to go with the employee who did that because she refused to attend us . We asked another employee if we could speak to a supervisor and we were being persisted but she would ignore us and walk away from us . We couldn't believe how badly they were treating us. So we then went on to go with the employee who 'shooed' my mother and I and asked him why did he give special privileges to other people flying and was discriminated us , he literally told us "what discrimination? You guys need to relax. What do you want? Do you want me to attend you or what? I have other people waiting" he checked us in and NEVER saw or spoke to a supervisor . We will def never be flying with them again ."

Cons: "At first we were told we needed to pay an additional fee for departure tax. I researched this issue ahead of time and knew the departure tax is now included in the ticket price--it has been that way for a couple years. We had to explain that to the Aeromexico agent. But to her credit, she looked into it and eventually agreed we did not have to pay the extra fee. It cost $65 for an extra bag. Seems steep but whatever, we paid it. The gate changed but no one told the ticket counter. When we arrived at the gate, dozens of other passengers were there but the electronic board stated the flight was at a different gate. Aeromexico staff needed to look into it to discover the gate had been moved. Not impressed with their internal communications. The flight departed about 40 minutes late. Not bad. The food was awful. Could only eat the cookie."

Ask them to call ahead to next flight, they said they need 48 h, disregarding what i said about my calls a month before NOR aplologising OR being nice abiut it. Everything was someone else's fault or a 3rd party that had nothing to do with aeromexico. Whats the point of paying for a flight if the airline doesnt care 2 shits about you? ???"

When we got to Mexicothey sails our liggage was not there because we were in the wrong terminal. No one spoke English but it was there because we were on Delta. When we left almost went to wrong terminal. If it is Deltal call it delta not Aeromexico."

Cons: "Delayed flight by three hours, then right before flight they had no gate and kept promising we would have one in ten minutes. That went on for two hours. Then they moved it back another 5-6 hours and everyone waited in line for another two hours to get things sorted out before they cancelled it. Also when I exited From Cabo they made me go through security all over again because they had no boarding pass for this flight. Big waste of time and money."

Pros: "My flight ticket said in big words Auromexico. So i arrived 1h 30min befor my flight departure. The lines was small but the atendents were so slow. And was in line for more than an hour. When it was my turn, the lady said that my flight wasent auromexico that it was with delta. Then why does my ticket say Thank you for flying with us Auromexico in huge words on top?!!! By the time I got to the Delta counter it was closed and my flight was leaving. I complaint to Aurom mexico and Delta but they didnt do anything but say your going to have to buy a new ticket at full price. And they said the reasone my ticket said auromexico was because they are partners. But they why say auromexico instead of saying Delta air lines?"

So much so that I had trouble walking when I got off the plane, and I'm in pretty good shape. I used to get upgraded often with USAir. Now that I have 3 times the mileage built up, it never happens. This wasn't the worst American flight , however. I recently had the displeasure of flying on one of the new planes, and that seat was so upright, cramped, and hard, it was like being on Spirit! (And I refuse to get on their planes ever again) my entire body was sore and stiff after flying on the new AA jet."

The ground staff wasn't at all helpful in trying to get me on another flight and in fact sent me to Delta! The lady there couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Sadly I wasn't compensated at all and had to pay to re-book the flights on the Sunday 17th. On my return from Brisbane, American Airlines had cancelled my flight to Atlanta as they said I was a 'no show' heading out. Thankfully I was able to get a seat on stand by. So, no I'm not a happy customer."

Was #1 and #2 on waiting list for last 4 flights of the day, but was not given a seat. Others who were either employees or also waiting somehow got a seat though. How is this? Had to sleep in airport and pray to make the AM flight. I'm so disappointed that we are not picked in waiting order. No, all the others did not have priority seating or something. Passengers talk while waiting, so I know I'm not assuming this. We also heard the employees conversations about "hoping to get a seat too". None of us were told our new flight assignments were "stand by" either. If I was aware of this, I would have made another flight arrangement or could have driven to my destination! I paid for a ticket, yet employees on stand by flight get priority. Not right!"

So when I tried to have American change the airport so that I can take another flight not only were they careless about my loss nobody tried helping me rebook they just told me the only thing I can pay $200 plus another ticket for about $600 or use another airline it may be cheaper i thought that was so rude an they would have a little sympathy but they did not. I end up spending $328 an using a whole other airline for a honest mistake I'm just very dissatisfied an disappointed that American airline would do that to me on one of the hardest times in my life an I hope they never treat anybody they way they did me."

Ive probably been on 50 different planes over the years to give you some perspective of my experience flying when I say this was a first and a very uncomfortable plane. The plane to take us to Savannah arrived so late it pushed my flight back by like an 1.5 hours from what it was supposed to be."

Also it didn't matter how many times I tried connecting to the wifi, I couldn't and I was willing to pay for it to because it was important that I work during my flight."
