We waiting 6 hours , and the flight was delayed another 1 hour and a 1/2.. customer service did not accommodate us in our time in Poland . We had to pay additional fees for transportation from airport to hotel"
Cons: "Flight was delayed by over 8 Hours. Terrible experience."
Cons: "Crew moved extremely slow despite a delay. (E.g. we could have departed sooner if they moved quicker and were more organized. Boarding process was poorly managed and chaotic. Pros: "Seemed good overall. Was delayed a little getting out, but pilot picked up the pace and landed on time. Only issue is the movie selection, mostly year+ old, and only polish tv shows."
Cons: "I used LOT Airlines for the very first time to travel to Riga, Latvia. The problems started at the LOT check in counter at O'Hare International terminal. I packed my weeks worth of belongings into a 21" carry on bag expressly so I wouldn't have lost baggage issues. The customer service person forced me to check my bag because it was 3 kilograms overweight even though it was the correct size for carry on. As you can probably guess the bag was lost in the transfer in Warsaw, Poland. After filing a lost baggage claim at Riga, Latvia airport I never heard a word of support, communication, or even an apology from customer service at LOT airlines. I called them several times and their tracking system could not locate the bag during the entire week I was in Latvia. Now I am home in the states and have received an email from LOT Airlines stating that my bag is now at the airport in Riga, Latvia and to contact them for shipping and reimbursement for any costs. LOT is a TERRIBLE AIRLINE! Atay Away!"
Cons: "The flight was 3 hours late"
Pros: "Friendly service"
Cons: "Was not aware that choosing a seat in the front row would mean I will be next to all the babies on the plane."
Pros: "Barely nothing"
Cons: "So much waiting for no reason. The luggage takes so much time. The seats were so small that you werent able to fall asleep at all. Very dissapointing..."
Pros: "I like that I flew on a modern aircraft with good amenities."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 2.5 hours. Check in took longer than it has ever taken."
Cons: "Missed boarding by 3 min"
Cons: "BROKEN LIGHT! I wish I had some tape or even a bandaid to block that annoying light- did not sleep at all"
Pros: "Nothing!"
Cons: "No new movies or no tv shows to watch on a 9hr flight. If I knew I would have downloaded movies on my phone or on a usb stick(u have the possibility of using those). Horrible food, cannot even describe! No free alcohol. If you pay cash for the alcohol you end up paying double as if you pay with Credit card. I paid for 3 drinks, were brought only 2 and when I asked for the 3rd one they didn't understand what I want. Crew speaks only polish, they have little knowledge of English language. They are not helpful and they don't care about passengers! Delays on every flight, Friday LOT airline doesn't have to many flights out of Warsaw! Be aware, in the event of a delay and loosing your connecting flight you might end up spending a night in Warsaw. I WILL NEVER USE LOT AGAIN and I will make sure to spread the word!!!"
Pros: "Service was very good"
Cons: "The cabin was quite warm; a bit uncomfortable."
Cons: "Long delay for departure"
Pros: "The Dreamliner was a nice aircraft and the entertainment screens were in great condition."
Cons: "Seating was tight as usual on all planes. The seat cushion was worn down and was hard. Crew were not overly friendly but weren't rude either. They won't be winning any customer service awards. They didn't offer drinks as often as United has especially on an international flight. They need to offer water more frequently."
Pros: "Was ok"
Cons: "Lost my luggage"
Pros: "Wide, comfy seats, nice crew, good food"
Cons: "Poor selection of movies"
Pros: "People polite, food good and plane very comfortable."
Cons: "Nor enough beverage for such a long flight Ice cube?"
Pros: "Everything was great, except the food which was a bit weird."
Pros: "Very attentive staff. Comfortable seats. I fell asleep somewhere in Canada and woke up in Brussels. Amazing."
Cons: "The plane was seven hours late/"
Pros: "The crew was polite and responsive."
Cons: "Turbulences over the Great Lakes, but nobody can control that!"
Cons: "We had 2 people traveling. The first person thought the food was very poor. Her other flight overseas was with Lufthansa and so she expected food similar to their flight. It was not at all. The quality of foods was dramatically different and Lufthansa even offered complimentary wine & beer with the meal. The second person needed a gluten-free menu due to gluten sensitivity. However, her meals also came dairy-free, so she wasn't even given real butter. She was offered no salad dressings so her salad was eaten dry. The chicken was extremely dry. The 2nd meal (breakfast-like) was horrible dry bread with cucumber, lettuce and tomato -- no meat, no cheese, no protein at all! The regular meals were also given yogurt, where she just got cut up fruit. Protein is extremely important in each meal and LOT failed to provide this. When asking a steward whether she could at least get a yogurt like the regular passengers, they were unable to help her."
Pros: "Newer planes"
Cons: "We used to fly with LOT often but they are unreliable airline. We had numerous problems. Staff is not very helpful, flights are often late, …. but after we got stuck in Warsaw for 10 hours with 2 kids because connecting flight was canceled we started to use different airlines. Usually we buy 3 to 5 tickets and this year we try LOT again because of price. NEWER AGAIN WE WILL SPEND ANY MONEY WITH LOT. Yes, they have new planes but they still operate under old habits. This time we got stock in Warsaw for more than 7 hours because our connecting flight was once again canceled and the next available flight vas late. NEVER AGAIN, WE ARE DONE WITH LOT FOR GOOD."
Cons: "Delayed flight Lost baggage No one could explain what to do.."
Pros: "Comfortable, great service and leg room, lots of movie and tv choices. Great flight!"
Pros: "I really liked flying polish airlines. Staff all around was excellent."
Cons: "I didn't realize I needed their headphones to watch movies."
