Cons: "Upon arriving to Frankfurt airport (gate Z) from Boston, i had an hour to make it to gate A including passport control. Once I got to to gates A50-69 I was told that i had to turn back and go through a different passport control as the one close to gates A50-69 was too busy/full. So I turned back although i had no specific gate number where the passport control was. Once I got there, after 10 mins walking (around gate Z20) around and asking lufthansa staff I came across a rather long queue. At that point I only had 30 mins until my flight to Budapest was boarding. I knew I would not get through that queue on time and there was no assistance. So I decided to turn nack and go back to gates A50-69 assport cobtrol where luckily there was no queue at all. I do not understand why i was turned away by staff the very first time I got to that passport control and why there was no assistance by airport staff. Not happy at all about that."

The bin has a total weigh limit, not the individual bag. Lufthansa needs to educate its employees."

Cons: "They didn't notify me in time on a delay and didn't suggested a different route. Therefore I was able to flew just the following day as my connection to the oversea flight was more then an hour delay. It happened with me flying to Budapest, and also flying back from Budapest. Make you better understand, that does it mean for me: in Budapest I missed the first part of my conference, and with the flying back one day later I lost one payed work day. As I have family in Budapest I decided to stay for the night there, and not at Munich, but just rescheduling my flight and providing me a taxi drive was so complicated, that it took two and half extra hrs at the airport, Also Lufhansa put me in my rescheduled back trip the MUC-IAD flight on the 45C seat, what was the worst seat on the plane. Not just that. When they have plenty of empty seat in all of the section, and they wanted to sell it the economy plus seats for more than hundred dollars, I mentioned to the fight attendance my misery ,and how I don't like the seat what I got, and she laughed on me, and I heard her telling her colleagues,this kind of funny way as they were behind me. That's no how they need to treat passenger, Also on flying back they didn't react fast, and they missed to put me on the Frankfurt plane, what could be an alternative route, on the same day, instead they sent me desk to desk."

The flight we missed was still at the gate but the door had closed. We were told the flight was oversold so it benefited the airline that we missed it. It’s muxh cheaper to put us in a horrible hotel with disgusting food and fly us out the next day, then pay people to choose a new flight. I had two small children at home and Diebel to this incompetence missed my 4 year olds birthday. He was devastated all thanks to your airline."

Cons: "the second leg from FRA to BUD entailed a massively disorganized, no queue control free for all to go through the boarding gates, all of which just led to an overcrowded bus.... which meandered through the airport to your jet on the tarmac.. they then allowed boarding from either rear or front of plane which of course lead to the throngs meeting in the middle and trying to squeeze past each other... horrible. Then... the checked bag did not make it to Budapest as they forgot to transfer it in FRA. so, yeah all in all it was a cheap flight and we got what we paid for."

Pros: "the two older female stewards spoke slow enough so I could understand. The customer service rep in the lobby was always friendly, knowlegeable and able to help me. For example, I did not know, when boarding, if we had to show our passports, but I asked him and we did not. I did not grasp the five levels of boarding he mentioned. I knew our group was not handicapped and we were economy, but I did not really know if we were group 4 or 5 to board."
Cons: "There was one female steward who made me take my carry on bag from the upper deck and store it below my seat so another lady's much, much larger bag would fit. Her bag was so large, I can't believe it met the standards. On the other hand, this procedure may be the way things work out,for the good of everyone, but it came as a surprise to me. To accomplish the task, she even asked another female to move her carry on from the rack above her to another several rows down. This lady's hair was too big for such a small plane. She talked way too fast in the first monologue. The plane seemed cheap and the sub airline had an air outlet that would not turn off and leaked with water mist. There was an air conditioner that also had a water vapor leak overhead, which my son said was a 'strip' which he could not control. We were seating in the back row. We noticed the plane was operated by Mesa airlines and the plane was assembled in Brazil, giving me a feeling of excessive cost cutting. Also, the pilot had an accent that sort of added to the 'Brazil' thing that he was not a native English speaker. However, he had a good landing at Atlanta near midnight. I did not feel I was on a real 'United' Airlines flight."

No charger connection on the plane

Entertainment and crew was great. Food was not fully heated and was very salty. The seats were very uncomfortable. There was barely any legroom and I’m 5’2”.

I liked the plane seating and leg room, but I didn't like the 1 hour delay in take off.

The flight crew was very accommodating and the seat was comfortable.

Food for Americans could be better

Our international experience is that Aer Lingus is the only airline we've traveled that charges for alcohol. Would have been nice to offer water periodically after dinner.

I reached the airport only to find out that the booking was cancelled by Opodo though I received an email from Opodo 24 hours before advising me to check in on the flight. As I was busy with some construction work at home I thought I would check in at the airport. Opodo advisors were not helpful on the phone and I ended up missing a family get together due to their incompatibility."

This was my first time flying Aer Lingus from Chicago to Dublin with a connecting flight to Leeds and I was impressed with their service and efficiency. I noticed the flight attendants were attentive and courteous to passenger needs throughout the flight which was 6 hours exactly. I have flown on many airlines and the service on Aer Lingus rates the highest for passenger satisfaction. Look forward to flying them again. Thank you!"

From Dublin to Hartford was a nightmare - we arrived ninety minutes before scheduled take-off, having checked in and gotten seat assignments the night before. The flight was closing to boarding as we arrived at the airport,so we could not use the self-service kiosks for baggage tags and we got NO direction on how to short-circuit the hours'-long line, even though there is a procedure for doing so. Result - we had to rebook at our cost for the following day and pay for another night in a hotel."

Bottom line: advertising this airline as 'low-cost' is very misleading."

The leg room was there but they make you stow your hand luggage (including handbag) in overhead compartment and then there is no room in said compartment. Had to walk miles and miles to get to gates and then across tarmac to climb stairs (like in the 1950s). Not great for older person carrying stuff. Planes are older and worn. Put on a charter flight on first leg of return because Aer Lingus didn't have a plane available. Think that's why luggage is missing."

Eventually 2 people b3came annoyed enough to get off and take a $200 voucher (probably for another delayed flight.) so we were late taking off for that. At our destination there were clear sunn6 skies. Extra fuel was needed for that. So I was stuck in a seat the size of a child’s car seat for an extra 40 minutes? And when we could finally get off, my legs had fallen asleep ffrom being too squeezed in for that relatively short flight. When will the airlines focus on the passengers’ safety & comfort and not on excessive profits?"

Cons: "-missed my connecting flight at 10pm due to weather. -waited in long line for customer service -received a phone number to book hotel -waited 30 minutes for shuttle -waited behind 8 people who checked into their rooms -when it was finally my turn they had not received my reservation and I was told to take a seat and wait, -eventually I called the booking number again, the call got dropped due to no service in the hotel lobby -I had to go outside to call after midnight! (a female alone) -finally after 45 minutes they received my reservation. -I didnt get to my room until 1am and had to get up at 5 to get the shuttle back to the airport -Frustrating and nerve racking experience"

Pros: "I liked that the middle seat was open on my flight and that they checked my carry on for free because the plane was filled."
Cons: "I didn't like the minimal leg room. Also, there is no way to try and work on a computer anymore because of the lack of room."

Cons: "Boarded 2 hours late due to the flight crew reaching the maximum amount of hours they can fly by law. American should be more aware of their employees' hours. Seats need better head rests. Menu needs more vegetarian options and the prices need to be lower."

This flight didn’t happen because Air Canada bumped me due to a delay on my previous flight and I was stuck spending the night at the airport with no where to sleep

Cons: "Very cramped; big doing and dance about overhead room so I gate checked. There was empty overhead space and bags very slow to come out at baggage claim"

Cons: "Air Canada knew we were going to miss our connection, as the flight was delayed over and over, yet the staff on the ground insisted all connections would be made, there had been no missed connections all day. As soon as we got to Montreal, we were told due to ice in Montreal Air Canada had been cancelling flights and many connections couldn't be made all day. By that time it was too late to call Vancouver and set up alternative plans for the following day, which is when we would finally leave Montreal."
Pros: "Left 30 minutes late but made up time and arrived roughly 5 minutes off original time. Ample leg room in coach. Nobody in the seats in front. Crew pleasant. Quiet ride."

Cons: "I guess it is a good thing for the airline because the plane was full, although it was crowded to me."
Pros: "The entertainment selection was great. There were a lot of movies available."
Cons: "There was only one working bathroom for coach. I think they said there were 3 working toilets total on the whole plane. I usually like airplane food, but this time it wasn't good. The exit row seats that we "upgraded" to were incredibly narrow, and there's nowhere close to stow your things. Then someone was in our seats when we boarded, and they took all our overhead bin space, so we were left with nothing for our flight. I would Not recommend paying extra for the exit row seats."
Pros: "Great timing of flights to arrive in afternoon. Also liked flying on the 787. Service was great as there was always someone checking to see that you were comfortable."
Cons: "Flights all evening were cancelled. I was just going for a weekend and they couldn't reschedule me until the following evening. I couldn't go on the trip because of these problems. I was in the airport for hours with two young children and they did not do much to help me reschedule quickly."
Cons: "Air conditioning too cold. No screen for inflight entertainment Big gap between seat and window prevented resting head for sleep."
Pros: "The crew on board the plane was as good as can be expected. They were polite and tried to be helpful."
Cons: "From the time of booking the flight, we tried to sort out our profiles, provide passport and KTN, and frequent flyer info, as requested when we booked. Website problems were numerous, from being kicked off multiple times, to refusing to accept my info. I tried numerous times to call on the phone since the web site didn't work, but either didn't get through or was directed back to the web site. Eventually, I reached someone that told me it would be best to just sort it out at the airport. At the airport, I was told I should have set things up ahead of time. In the end, two of us traveling together, with work to do together over the course of the 13 hour flight, ended up sitting on opposite sides of the plane, and didn't get fed because they ran out of food. This shouldn't happen to anyone, but having paid for premium economy seats, you can imagine I was even angrier. We brought this up with a customer service rep in person when we landed and were told that she had no power to do anything and that we should call when we got home. And just to top things off, when I realized I couldn't get work done, I tried watching a movie and learned that the audio jack on my entertainment system was broken."

Pros: "The young kids really enjoyed the multi-player video games that were offered on the plane. The windows were really cool too! The amount of light/color coming from the windows were adjustable with the press of a button. It was the first flight for the younger kids, and they loved it!"
Cons: "Flight was delayed both lengths. We have been offered one cup of water and no other drinks on 8 hours flight from Toronto to Budapest! There were no flight attendants asking us if we need anything. We had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes at Budapest airport for our luggage."

Cons: "I am glad I survived this experience. It was worse than PanAm flights in the 1980s... no TV, basic care ... except PanAm served better food. I was really sorry for the flight crew that they have to serve on this plane."

Also, they announced at the airport that there were no monitors on the plane and we should download the Air Canada Rouge app. The connection at the airport was poor so I couldn't download the app but my friend did but she still couldn't watch anything on the airplane even though we were told we could get the app and get the on plane entertainment. I just couldn't believe that in 2017 there are allowed airplanes in such poor condition in the air. Also, I was traveling with 2 children and the airline didn't accommodate me at all. Many seats were empty and they put me in a full row. I had to sit on the floor for 8 hours so my children could stretch and sleep and the fly attendant didn't even bother to ask how I was doing but they would frequently bumped into my children's feet in the aisle. Also, a passenger's seat behind me fell apart. I could write an essay about this airline. Never again!"
Cons: "They sold my mom's tix. Didn't let her board. She had to buy new ticket!!! For 1200!!! Terrible experience"
Pros: "I was very impressed today when one of the airline stewardess went back into the Terminal waiting area to get a passenger's phone charge she left behind. We were all seated when the passenger noticed she had forgotten it and to her credit she walked back to the front of the plane to ask about retrieving the charge. She was particularly concerned because she had just bought it. She came back to her seat and was told they would see what they could do. To our surprise after the doors were closed, the stewardess came back to hand the passenger her charger. She was very grateful! Well done Air Canada."

Cons: "They were weighting carry on luggage. My luggage was was 22pound and they asked me remove one pound. Plain redicules. They don't provide any snack. West jet is much better option. They have screen TVs. Very boring . Extremely tight leg space. Air Canada is coping Spirit Airlines since they are monopoly. Not many airlines have direct flights to Montreal. They are taking full advantage of it."

Cons: "The service from the attendants is probably the worst that I've ever had. I had to ring someone and remind someone twice that I received the wrong customs form. Finally I had to walk back to the end of the plane where I saw four stedeardesses giggling over someone's phone. I missed one of the meals because I was dozing off and when I requested some food I was told that there was none left. The entertainment is subpar. You need a mobile or device with he app already installed. And even so the movies and shows are outdated and not very entertaining at all. On top of that, both legs of my flight my outlet was not working and not charging my device. Air Canada rouge- never again!"
Cons: "I took AC from Toronto to Japan, and Rouge from Japan to Vancouver. There is significant difference in airplane and service."
Cons: "didnt like the cabin crew attendants. Only 1 I interacted with gave off the impression of friendly. When they canceled the flight, the information they sent to me was inaccurate and during the rescheduling process people were short with me and it took forever. When inquiring about a refund so I could find a faster flight home, they told me they couldnt confirm the amount I might be refunded, but it would be hardly anything. Therefore, forcing me to be almost a day late getting home."

Pros: "the accommodation of the carry on in the compartments, it is absolutely disturbing and dangerous; specially and such of huge plane like the one I flew. Passengers should have the right to have a least 1 registered for free luggage to avoid such of chaos, possible injuries and delays. i feel horrible for the flight attendants for such of task of carrying and moving so many luggages."
Cons: "The fact that traveling International for so many hours, I was treated like I was flying Domestic. No, food, no drinks. In the past airlines complained about cost of fuel, gas, but now is cheaper and we PASSANGERS never have any consideration flying. Another fact is the seatis are too small, I had to share my seat with two overweight women and they occupied part of my space, I was so uncomfortable, I requested for another seating and was not possible due to the fullness of the plain. I standed up many time not rubber and feel the heat of that person on my left side. overweight people should be suggested to buy double seating."
Pros: "Crew members were courteous and generally helpful - though a call placed for help was not acknowledged (given 15 minutes, then gave up - though it was not during the meal service). The aircraft is very nice. Food was quite good, and the entertainment options were excellent."

Rebooking very slow because 4 out of 5 staff was out for dinner. Air Canada overall: Awful service. Disorganized. Staff lack information."
Pros: "The airline personnel in Montreal was accommodating when several of us missed our connecting flights, automatically providing a hotel room and food vouchers for each of us."
Cons: "We were delayed an hour because of a miscommunication with the refueling truck in Montreal before the flight came to Bradley. Then, we sat almost another hour on the tarmac at Bradley Airport because the flight plan was not approved. This caused me and several travelers (out of a small flight of approx. 20 people) to miss our connections in Montreal. Miscommunication seems to be normal for AirCanada, at least in Montreal (almost missed my connection on the way home, too). I will not fly again with this airline in the foreseeable future."

Cons: "Didn't pick up dinner trays, when they passed out breakfast, one lady didn't bother to hand out the napkin or the bottle of water to people, while the lady going down the other aisle did. Greasy pice of cake and no napkin, and a red eye flight and no water? I saw them on the cart, I guess it was just too much work to hand them out!!!"

Cons: "Plane arrived on time in Toronto but unable to approach terminal for 20 minutes since other plane in designated spot. Delay of 10 minutes to disembark once at terminal because of unexplained problem. Once at security gate D line of approx.. 30-40 people at dead standstill for 25 minutes (security issue?) . Missed connecting flight to Moncton because of above. Overnight stay in Toronto with hotel and meals approx. 35..00-400.00 extra cost. AC unwilling to pay for hotel. Lost following day's employment. Very disappointed in AC service in Toronto."
Pros: "I had not paid attention to know this was going to be such a tiny plane - 18 seats! Transborder flight, 1:20 hours, single seats so both window and aisle, two fantastic pilots (no flight attendants) who did everything, young, friendly and in charge, smooth trip, and I was in seat 2 and looking directly ahead seeing the pilots' view! I didn't need snacks or other entertainment. Will not hesitate to take this flight / Air Canada / small planes again."
