As soon as the plane pulled away from the terminal, crew members seemed rushed and frantic, literally running back and forth from Economy Premium to the galley gathering items. Approximately every 7-10 minutes, crew members would be running back and forth next to my seat with heavy foot steps, which would wake me up. I also noticed that certain crew members were shouting at passengers to get their attention instead of lowering themselves to be heard. One flight attendant almost spilled orange juice on me because she turned around too fast trying to serve drinks. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed, or if it was the influence of a certain crew boss, but something was definitely wrong."

We did not receive any compensation, but Singapore/Silk Airlines told us they were able to get us a flight home to LAX instead, but that it wouldn't be until the next day. We spent money on a hotel and food and waited until the next morning, got to the airport early for check in only to find that Singapore/Silk had in fact, given up our seats that they had promised us. They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

I travel a lot, I usually fly Qantas and they are very good at providing seats closer to the front. The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.

The Malaysian Air boarding staff got on radios and appeared to try to help by telling them to put aside for pick up upon my return. Yesterday, The Premiere lounge said they did not have it despite my name, email and phone number being written on the Ipad. Between Malaysian Air and the Lounge and their lack of concern and professionalism it was not a good trip. As One World Emerald member, I steer a lot of business towards these One World Airlines. I expect better treatment."

The floor and sink were covered with little shreds of shredded facial tissues from passengers trying to dry their hands. Really, do Air Asia executives fly on their own airline? How do they dry their own hands? Is there a single person on earth who thinks that flimsy facial tissues are an appropriate way to dry hands? Put paper towels on your planes!"
Pros: "Boarded on time, arrived in Bangkok 20 minutes early, no problems getting my bags checked in even though I was late arriving to the airport. You do have to buy luggage allowance beforehand to avoid getting completely gouged though & do it over the phone as their website is almost completely nonfunctional."
Cons: "For a 4+ hour flight they should at least give you water and peanuts instead of either making you buy a meal beforehand (on airasia's website which simply does not work if you are using a mobile phone) or pay extortionate prices ($3 for a teeny bottle of water) on board- I realize it's a budget airline but since they don't let you bring liquids through security passengers have no choice but to pay these ridiculous prices if we don't want to completely dehydrate."

Cons: "First, there is no entertainment system at all. Second, even though airlines like Qantas have shown that there is no reason to turn electronic devices off before, during and after flights, AirAsia won't even allow you to have your device in flight mode. So backward! Also, you'll find that their website is not easy to deal with and they will nickel-and-dime you for everything."

Cons: "I booked a flight on Air Asia from Chang Mai to Krabi during a vacation in Thailand. Luckily it was only a two hour flight because the seats are absolutely tiny. I am 6'4" and am used to having pretty much zero legroom on flights, but this was another level. I had an aisle seat and had to sit with my legs completely spread open into the aisle for the two hour flight. Don't book this airline if you are over 6ft tall and plan on flying standard economy."

Pros: "I want a refund on this flight and I will be taking measure to complain at the highest level at the company on the way I was treated and the $900 baggage charge they tried to charge me, then agreed to $450. I was on a previous flight with the same airline and was charged $30 excess baggage weight, with the same bags, which if anything were lighter. I was completely exploited and I will never book this airline again. I'm so appalled and disgusted by this airline - And warn other travelers to fly with an alternative company. On top of it all they were rude and extremely unhelpful."
