After a long time I liked an Indigo flight
Got one bag immediately at the carousal, 2nd bag came after half an hour. Everybody just waiting and fuming.
Denied boarding inspite of reaching 1.5 hours before departure
Good check in attentive crew and quick delivery of baggage
Very disorganised and inefficient boarding procedure compounds the disorganised nature of the Indore airport. Crew announced that a system would be followed based on those passengers that paid for expedited boarding, those with children and those in the military etc. However the system was not implemented. Not sure why IndiGo does not use and enforce zonal boarding. A/C not working on bus transporting passengers to aircraft and information system indicating flight information not working either. Given this leg happened after sunset there was very poor lighting on boarding ramps at both Indore and Mumbai.

They said they’d check and get back with us. When they did they said the additional charge for 15kg was more than the ticket itself!! For more than 15 up to 30kg it was nearly 3 times as much! This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

There was no flight from New Delhi to tvm .. that got canceled
Unable to web checkin from air india website. Arrived at checkin counter 3 hrs and 45 min before flight time and it took 1 hr to reach the checkin counter and 1.5 hrs to get the boarding pass for family with all 4 different seat numbers. Another staff had to change seats to assign 2 set of seats together. Had to rush through immigration and security to board the flight. In flight, found another passenger seated on one of our assigned seat.

Also the blankets appeared to be reused. I received blankets that were opened from the original packaging. I’ve never road on a plane and experienced this level of discomfort in my life. I normally don’t like to leave bad ratings about companies because the staff were very polite and warm welcoming. I just strongly believe that Air India could use some remodeling for their planes. The level of comfortability is a must for me and I am not booking with this airline again because the seats are so old and snaggy. There were actual cotton balls(lint) on the seats, and I had to place magazines on top of the seat, in order to avoid feeling uncomfortable. The seats looked dirty and felt uncomfortable. And the blankets were old. Honestly, I would’ve preferred impolite staff, rather than experiencing discomfort for about 3 hours. I couldn’t wait to get off as I was going to my destination. And I absolutely dreaded the plane ride back as I was coming from my destination. Air India needs leather, or smooth fake leather seats for comfortability. Also, they need brand new unopened blankets to give to their guest, along with plastic cups as well. I hope this helps, and I hope Air India improves on this for the future."

Can't comment about onboard service as I was comfortably sleeping during both trips and chose to skip it. On my previous trip from Kochi to Dubai last month, the flight reached Dubai 40 mins ahead of the schedule. I would highly recommend this service over Emirates flight to Kochi."

I paid attention to service by Air India, and I liked their service; they served with grace and attentive to passenger's needs."

I will make sure when booking an Emirates flight if it is code shared with Flydubai I will look for another flight."

This has to be a safety regulation/problem. Flight attendants did nothing. - The screens/entertainment system on the flight didn't work. Absolutely useless."

The staff helps other customers who are late for their flight cut in front of the line, and therefore make everyone else late for their flight. We finally arrive to the front and are told our flight has been oversold, and that it is full. We asked to be put on another flight and they said the next ones leave tomorrow. We were told we had to go wait in another line to arrange a flight or refund. We waited in that line for almost 1 hour, and the employee gave us an email address written on a post it note, and said if we wanted a refund to email them. Just an awful airline. Some other passengers wanted the flight the next day and Fly Dubai offered them a hotel for the night but said the hotel is full. The airline has an awful check in system, awful customer service, and has yet to offer us a refund, or even reply to the email we sent them six days ago. Regardless of their ticket price I will never fly with this airline ever again."

The flight delayed. No screen, no charge for mobile devices. The portion of food is very small. The food is not delicious and no sweet just 3 pieces of fruit mostly apple. If you want coffee or tea you have to buy even you buy ticket at higher price than airlines that offer drinks, snacks and meals for free.

Cons: "There is no way of knowing which fly Nas flight I was supposed to board. Etihad is not very good at informing the customers about partner airline check in process. I was running around the airport like a mad man trying to figure out my flight number and check in station. The airline lost my luggage and the claim process is vague. I was told I will be contacted with my claims number at the airport. Thus far I haven't heard anything from the airline. The number given goes straight to voice mail."
