Pros: "Boarding was straightforward and without all the fuss that one gets with the cheap airlines, or worse, with Air France. For economy tickets, the level of comfort was adequate, but the seats didn't return to upright easily and the entertainment screen took a whole load of taps before it responded sometimes. A reasonable level of service for the price, and the plane was on time."
Cons: "The crew were disengaged. There were too many interruptions over the speaker system, first the English one, then just as you got back into your film, a Dutch one. I don't believe that have experienced such a level of disruption in some time."

Cons: "Seats stuffed like sardines 5:10 and my knees were touching the front seat. My seat was Brocken and did not recline . Stuck like this for 6 hours .....-;( I did not even know you are allowed to put seats so close together"

Cons: "I didn't go on my trip. My course in SF was cancelled and United would n't refund my money or change the dates for my trips because of there basic economy package. They have 3 different economy packages and the economy basic doesn't get refunds and you can't change the flights if needed. It feels like they are banking on increasing there ROI with this basic economy ticket which is 40 -60 dollars cheaper than the next economy package. Intuitively they know people will pick that, but if something comes up the customer is screwed."

Cons: "It wasn't Air New Zealand, but operated by United Airlines. The plane was uncomfortable, and the entertainment system seemed clunky, unintuitive and outdated. The selection of entertainment, poor in quality, I thought. There were lost of things to watch, but a lot of it was of poor quality. The food was acceptable, but again, it felt like it was done on-the-cheap, and I was eating airline food a la 20 years ago."

Cons: "Inflight WI-FI doesn’t work, it kept on dropping in the middle of the movie or it went back to the beginning. Couldn’t see a movie."

Cons: "There was no entertainment available on this flight. It's a short flight so I don't expect any, however, I continued on to Phoenix that day from Chicago and that is a long flight. I expected free entertainment on that flight, as it was afforded on the flight on the Phoenix to Chicago leg of my flights earlier in the week. The Chicago to Phoenix had entertainment offered but it there was a fee, which I didn't appreciate and did not take part in. I looked around me as much as possible and didn't see anyone else pay for entertainment. Having in flight movies and TV available for feee is a great incentive for flying with United. If these long flights in the future are pay for view, I will not be flying with you when there are alternative carriers who do provide free entertainment. Thank you."

Cons: "We arrived late in Denver and had to sit at the gate and wait for the jetway person to arrive and connect the jetway to the plane. I also didn't like the fact that I had to buy Economy Plus because my wife and I were not only not assigned seats together after booking, we were not assigned seats at all. When I booked the flights I was only allowed to choose seats for the first flight - Charlotte to Houston...but not for the other three legs of our Charlotte to Seattle trip. The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together."

Cons: "The public address system at St Johns is very poor in that you cannot understand the announcements. The announcements are inaudible in the Gate 1 area of the terminal (including the adjacent snack bar area). I asked the gate attendant what an announcement was about and was told that there was a 45-minute delay in our flight. Our group then went to the adjacent snack bar. Less than 10 minutes after the flight delay announcement I walked out of the adjacent snack bar and found that they were already boarding the flight!! Had I not gone back to the gate, we all would have missed our flight!!"

I got to Terminal C- listed on my boarding pass, only to check the screen to find they switched to Terminal A, which meant exiting the terminal C and taking a bus to Terminal A. Only as I was boarding the plane did I receive a late text telling me there was a Terminal change. The flight attendants passed me by with the drink cart and never came back to service me"

Cons: "Bought the ticket with Brussels, but it was operated by United. Late departure. When we boarded, we found that United had booked another person in my assigned seat! Had to stand in the aisle for nearly 10 minutes while attendant found another seat for us, farther back in the plane and in the center section. Absolutely no legroom and the food was hardly edible. Every few years I fly United in the hope that they'll have gotten better, but it just never seems to happen. Still can not recommend this airline."

Had to stay in Denver and pay for a $60 cab to take us back to airport after they scheduled us in a hotel clear across town with no shuttle service to even get us back to our rescheduled flight. Their customer service stations Are apparently useless and can't do anything to actually assist anyone."
