Pros: I paid for a full seat and the person next to me was so overweight, I had the use of less than 2/3 of my seat. My rifgt shoulder, neck and back was very sore when I got off the plane from lack of any movement.
Cons: Severely overweight people should not be forced onto another adult if they cannot fit in their own seat.

Pros: Excellent crew staff helping elderly handicapped man. Thank you from Team Trump.
Cons: Snack would have been nice. Haven’t eaten since 6am before we left providence

Cons: A full flight in the midst of a pandemic. Totally unsafe! Safety first in the air and closed space vs how many you can pack in during a pandemic. Disgraceful! I have tried to avoid AA due to how they handle flying right now , I couldn’t today and they were just as bad as I imagined. Delta was so much safer and more protective of its customers . 50-60% full by design . Fly them and learn something.

Pros: Gate for flight to Paris from Chicago was changed at least 4 times. At the gate boarding was supposed to start at 10:15. Kept getting delayed until 11pm and then it finally got cancelled. Noone directed us on what to do. It is 20hours later and I still haven't made it 6to my destination.
Cons: My luggage is lost and none of the American Airlines have been able to locate it. I will never fly with American Airlines again.

Cons: The American Airlines crew in Houston gave multiple people the wrong information regarding checked luggage for our connecting flight. Because the flight from NYC was over an hour delayed and the misinformation, several people missed the connecting flight. Hobby closes at a certain hour so I now have to wait until tomorrow morning to retrieve my carry on luggage the American Airlines MADE me check because of the group I was in. I called American Aurlines customer service line and they were not helpful. I will never fly American again.

Cons: Supposed to leave saturday, but didnt cause the lady at airlines said i need a visa when i did not need a visa.now its tuesday in austrailia and im stuck in airport because quantos doest know where my bags are. This trip is turning or turned into a total disaster!

Pros: Once aboard, LATAM is actually quite impressive. The logistical part of the company is horrendous, but the service onboard is exemplar.
Cons: LATAM changed my itinerary without my authorization and despite my clear verbal directions to NOT change it. The airline took directions from a corrupt official with the Colombian immigration office and cancelled my return flights. I was forced to purchase an additional ticket, travel on and separate flight from my wife and children. I then had to spend several hours waiting to resolve the case in person. The customer service at LATAM is a joke. If I'd received this treatment in the United States, I would have filed a lawsuit for their infringement on my rights and collaboration with the discriminatory practices of the Colombian immigration office in Bogota.

Pros: The crew were polite, accommodating and understanding
Cons: The gate was changed 1hr prior to boarding despite the arriving plane having landed 3hrs prior. So with stroller and infant in toe, I had to run to change terminals/buildings. There was no assistance or prior warning regarding this from the check in staff and I made it all the way to the original terminal and gate before having to turn around. The desk staff at the gate was asked about early boarding for infants and said it would be okay but didn’t give clear instructions on boarding so I sat down and they began boarding each group 20 minutes later and did not give priority to mother’s with infants. The stroller which I brought to the gate was then tagged incorrectly with a white tag instead of a pink tag. I was later told by he crew that it meant it would go directly to baggage claim instead of being brought to the door. According to the crew, all staff know to tag with a pink tag. At every step there was blatant display of inconsideration that made an already difficulty journey, that much more challenging.

Pros: Staff at SAN was good helpful. Check in was seemless.
Cons: Wishing that they would serve something to drink — even if I would have to pay for it. Flight attendant gave me wrong directions and I left for another terminal while my carry on luggage (which had to be checked) was still at the gate. I had to wait until it arrived at baggage claim.

Cons: My daughter is in a wheelchair. She was a carry on (I e I carry her on board). The staff knew this but failed to notify the airport. Hence, we had to deplane without a jetway. I didn’t. The steep stairs made it unsafe. Had to wait a long time for a handcranked lift. No one really knew what they were doing and they wanted to put her in an adult wheelchair in spite of my identifying safety issues. My daughter was scared and upset. Epic failure on AA’s part. Communication breakdown on many levels. Shameful.

Cons: Change of gate without notice because of this I lost my flight and I had to stay at the airport overnight the next flight was seven next day and the person out of content wass not nice at all she was so rude that didn’t make it easier for me !!

Cons: The first plane was broken and the pilot kept coming to brief the passwngers that it was broken but it may be fixed and so on, it would have been better if he had just let the counter clerk say the plane is delayed due to maintenance. As a customer, i dont need all the rambling explanation every ten minutes about the issue. I was told that we could board another flight leaving in 30 minutes, so i went to that gate, crew was not there and we boarded the plane. We had to de- board and wait for the crew. After the crew showed up, the rest of the flight was pretty standard.

Cons: It was 3 hours delayed and we ended up with an aircraft that was in the hanger. The economy seats were really tight, more suitable for a 2-3 hour domestic flight, not for a transoceanic 7 hour flight. I paid $81 for my seat since AA did not let me choose my seat. $81 for a seat that was really uncomfortable and with very limited leg room. I felt ripped off. There were common screens as entertainment instead of individual ones, very obsolete. This will be the last AA flight I will take.

But the ground crew and American Airlines worked very hard to compensate all the passengers: gave us each a voucher for hotel, 2 meals, round trip shuttle ride for hotel and airport. Good work to make up for a bad situation.
