Cons: The fact that my father was diagnosed with Cancer and they wouldn’t refund our 1300.00 for round trip tickets to the Philippines which is our vacation home. The airline required documentation from my fathers doc which I provided. He was not going anywhere for at least a year (radiation and chemo) and the denied even credit.I was able to get my parents tickets refunded by a different airline. NEVER Again. my father passed 8/12/2018. Our trip was scheduled for 9/13/2018. Very disappointing.see

Pros: The flight attendants were very attentive and polite, seats are some of the most comfortable of any airline I've flown (particularly compared to the US domestics), and entertainment is solid (although the English movie selection was not that large). I would definitely recommend JAL to others.
Cons: The food was not to my liking (i.e., all Japanese style, but not necessarily types that appeal more to Westerners) but it was palatable.

Pros: The flight from Chicago to Tokyo was delayed, which made me worried that I would miss the connection to Taipei. I was very happy to discover that an airline staff person was waiting for me when I got off the plane, having already changed me to another Taipei flight. She explained things and guided me to the right place. She was able to walk amazingly fast for a woman wearing high heels!

Pros: Our flight was delayed due to lightning strike on arriving flight, we were transferred to non stop EVA Airline so we can get home and not need a connecting flight in Japan. JAL did all these arrangements without us requesting it. They also were very polite and got our luggage in time to be on the flight with us. JAL is truly a top airline in the world.

Cons: (1) Was about to miss flight because originally my flight booking was from Benazir International Airport Islamabad but t the time of flight I boarded from a different and new airport in Islamabad which had become operational in Islamabad in the last week of April 2018 . My flight was on 10th May 2018 from Islamabad to Doha to Chicago but neither my online booking site ( Kayak ) not Qatar Airways sent any notification that my Boarding was changed from Banzir International Airport to the newer, bigger airport. Consequently , on the day of flight, I went to check in and board from the Bnazir International Airport but upon reaching the airport I was told that the airport was no more in operation. I was surprised to hear that all flights were to be from the newer airport. By the time I rerouted my taxi to the new airport I was already late for my flight but fortunately the flight from Islamabad to Doha, Qatar was delayed and I made it to the boarding time and flew to Doha , Qatar and then to Chicago.

Pros: I wish this airline had more service within the US!! This airline is impeccable. We flew 16 hours from Doha to Miami and it was amazing. At the airport in Doha the flight representative went above and beyond to accommodate better seating for myself and my son. Luckily it was not a full flight and lots of the passengers had plenty of space. The staff is VERY friendly and VERY professional. I will definitely be giving this airline my hard earned money in the future for reservations as much as I can!!!!

Cons: I have flown previously with Qatar and was not so impressed. Everything was great this trip up until my return to the United States. I should have suspected a problem when I was requested to change seat in order to assist a family who were in separate seats. Moving was difficult as the plane was being loaded. I managed to get to the seat offered to find someone sitting in it. To top it off the individual was wearing a surgical mask and carrying a large immigration bag. I requested a seat forward but I was denied and I later saw other passengers moved forward to seats that I was denied. If I had known that the flight would have been full of possibility sick immigrants I would have chosen another flight or airline. At certain times the smells were very bad. I felt as a ff member I should have been treated better or been made aware of possible health risks.

Pros: Nothing in particular stands out about our flight. We've flown many airlines, Aeroflot, British Air, Delta, Iceland Air and KLM recently. Lufthansa was right in there with the middlet of the pack, with the exception of Iceland Air, which would be at the bottom, but they make no pretenses. The seats, even in the basic economy, which we had,reclined and were comfortable; good legroom. Food and drink offerings were standard. Amounts were small, but everything was the right temperature. Restrooms were clean and well equipped. Movie offerings, not many newer releases. Nothing like Sky news, so you couldn't check weather or current events. Crew was courteous and attentive,
Cons: Boarding at Frankfort left much to be desired. First off, the equipment was not ready; we waited 45 min. to board after we got to the gate (early) and due to turbulence over the Atlantic, the pilots could not make up the time. We are senior citizens. We, along with about 25 others in our category, responded to the call for us to get in line to board, stand for 30 min. The gate personnel did not provide any information that boarding was NOT imminent at that point, so you had to stand up to keep your place. Finally, once the boarding for people needing assistance began, we got to choose between using 2 flights of stairs (a faster way to get into the plane) or an elevator to board the plane. (Hello! We have trouble with things like stairs; don't you know that?) The elevator accommodated one wheelchair and 2 or 3 people at a time. More waiting in the jetway to get down to the plane! The whole boarding process took 90 min. from the time we stood up to the time they closed the doors. Bad grades for the the cleaning crew making us wait so long, for the gate personnel for keeping us in the dark and the disorganized process boarding. Nobody cared about our discomfort, not what we would have expected from LH. Consequently, we've revised our opinion of Luthansa. Maybe next time we'll take BA.

Cons: First time my knees have touched the seat in front of me (I'm 5-10). Not sure how much more airlines can squeeze us in. Good seat recline is great if everyone is reclining, if not you will have someone in your lap. Had to ask person in front of me to not recline during meal. What really bothered me though was paying for a reserved seat and finding out we had been moved to the dreaded back row due to an equipment change. Strongly suggest passenger notification for this move. Was able to re-reserve seats on check in but there were some significant angst when I found out about this mischief.

Actually about 5 Boarding areas were down no one was available to give direction or answer questions until you got To the front of the line and many had to be sent then to a different line. Bad enough the terminals were down but not even close to German efficiency in handling the problem. Also several of the stewards were rather surly and short

Cons: My return travel was on lufthansa but due t delays in departing I missed my flight to the US. We were treated very poorly and slowly by service center representatives. The flight we missed was still at the gate but the door had closed. We were told the flight was oversold so it benefited the airline that we missed it. It’s muxh cheaper to put us in a horrible hotel with disgusting food and fly us out the next day, then pay people to choose a new flight. I had two small children at home and Diebel to this incompetence missed my 4 year olds birthday. He was devastated all thanks to your airline.

Cons: I feel that the there should be NO reclining of seats in the economy section. There is about 10-12 inches of space between my face and the seat back if the seat in front is not reclined. If it is reclined , this distance is reduced to 6-8 inches. Too, too close. And reclining does not add much to the comfort of the sitting position. When the person in front of me reclines, then I am almost forced to recline so I have enough room.

Cons: No seating area at or near the gate we boarded at, and as boarding was delayed, many people ended up standing for some time because we did not wish to wander too far and then be late for boarding.

Cons: I paid for a reserved window seat so I could sleep. The passenger next to me was such a large man his arms and shoulder came way over into my seat space and I had to sit in an awkward and very uncomfortable position twisting my back for the entire flight. I cannot believe I paid extra to be in this position. My back still hurts from being in that position for 9 hours. I was miserable the entire way. And I paid extra for this discomfort. The big guy was plenty comfortable as he took up my seat space and slept well. Not happy at all with the flight and how Lufthansa crams people into seats.

Cons: First flight mechanical issue so couldn't make it to any of my connecting flights and they had to reroute me, however they couldn't get me to Torino so they got me to Milan and I had to take a two hour bus and then the metro to get where I needed to be. And it took them over an hour to reroute my flight!

Cons: temperature in the Premium Economy sections was freezing. Me and the person next to me wore 3 blankets each and were still shivering from the cold. The windows had ice on them (on the outside of course). Several people got up and wore their jackets and sweaters in addition to the blankets. In the Economy section the temperature was just fine (my husband sat there) and we had to alternate seats so that I don't freeze. He paid extra for me to have a more comfortable arrangement, but it ended up being way too cold. That did not happen on the way to Europe...

The confirmation number was: KAYAK Booking Reference KE40651 British Airways Record Locator 3IMN38 Booking Date Jan 24, 2021 So British airways cancelled the flight may days before the flight date and they notified Kayak but Kayak sent me no notification. At the time of check in we found that the flight was cancelled. It was such a hassle. I called kayak to rebook frantically since it was very important to travel right away. Your customer service was pathetic. I was told to cancel my british airways reservation and then I have to wait 24 hours for another department to call me to talk to me about rebooking choices. There was no concern from your customer service that since u are at fault so make correction for it right away by rebooking it. You guys didnt inform us for cancellation of the flight that happened days before the flight. I didnt like what Kayak rep was telling me and called British airways again to see if they would do something. They then were able to rebook me the following day with 2 stops instead of one stop which I had booked. So my parents took the flight with one day delay with extra stops. I had such a horrible experience with Kayak. I will never rebook from Kayak again.

Cons: Was overnight flight but food was served very late and lights were on for a while so people were getting drunk and loud with free alcohol served but no milk for toddlers available.

Pros: Flight overall was unremarkable. Aircraft was almost twenty years old and looked it.
Cons: Boarding via a bus was painful and inefficient. BA is selling more flights than it can accommodate at Terminal 5. Because plane was so old, the screens for the entertainment are laughably small and faded. Seats themselves are tired, with wobbly and dirty tray tables, and seatbacks that don't recline properly. Seat power is the outdated Empower standard, which doesn't work without a special adapter which virtually nobody has.

Cons: staff Attitude could be better. Also no milk for toddlers but free vine for people to get drunk, be loud on overnight flight, then snore and stink drunk. My table was all in some snort when I opened it to put my meal on. Dirty lavatory floors.

Cons: The flight home to DC was fine. The flight going to London from DCA was horrible.The deserts on the kids meals had mold on them. My daughter was vomiting as a result of the food. It ate into our trip which was hard for us as we were visiting my grandmother who is not well. We contacted the airline about it and their proposed compensation was not what we were expecting. Honestly we plan to make an annual trip but based on our experiences with this trip maybe we'll choose a different airline.

Pros: The flight was on time. The wheelchair I had ordered was also on time and handled well. There was a wheelchair waiting for me when I got off the plane and someone helped with our luggage.
Cons: I paid two pounds for a cup of tea that was not very hot. I couldn't use money and as my credit and debit cards were visa, the machine would not accept them. I think that giving your customers drink would not break the company!

Cons: Seats on 747 recline back way too far. Could not enjoy my flight back from London with the guy in front of me reclined back so far. Was forced to recline my seat all the way back as well if I wanted to watch anything. I guess it's OK if you are on an overnight flight and just want to sleep. Everything else was great though.

Pros: BA couldn't get our boarding passes to work no matter how many times they printed out new ones and we had to land into proper arrivals (though we were in transit in Heathrow) and tell five different groups of staff what was going on, even though it wasn't our problem but their computer glitch. One man at security was even rude to me, telling me not to just stand there. ( I had been told to stand there whilst they went and tried to remedy for the umpteenth time). When I showed him my disabled badge and said I would personally prefer NOT to be left standing for hours, he said 'so?'. It was a nightmare. It took hours and still wasn't sorted and in the end the immigration officers had to be called to the boarding area to allow us on the flight with non functioning boarding cards. It wasn't even our fault. REally upset about it.

Pros: The crew was extra helpful - Help was easy to find and the crowds manageable. As a bonus, our flight arrived at the destination 30 minutes early.

Pros: The staff was friendly, the available entertainment was good, and the seats were reasonably comfortable.
Cons: Our final connecting flight was late because the plane and the crew had not yet arrived at our airport before we were supposed to start boarding. The airline did not announce this until we were scheduled to start boarding. We had to go to a different gate and wait nearly two more hours for our flight to depart.

Finally got the seats from Rome to DFW changed and didn't have time for DFW to Denver changed. If your going to offer seat assignments up front for a fee, you need to stick to it. Will never go through a 3rd party again to book flights, should have known better.

At the check in counter, on my question if we can get two seats at the aisle the lady immediatly shouted to me I have to pay 93 $ per seat. The onground service was so terrible and mean, that I will most certainly not fly AA if possible

Cons: Check in through website was confusing to do. Flight shows on alaska airlines sight as a united flight. I downloaded the united app, and it tells me my flight is not just through american airlines, but through another carrier, american freedom or aomething like that. Very confusing. I called someone, I think american airlines, by this time completely confused. If there are multiple carrier types, I should be able to input my flight number and my info ahould come up for me to view flight info and check in, or seat assignment. In the end I dowloaded 2 or 3 apps, a confusing phone call, and when i got to rhw intial check in I was not treated well by tsa personnel. Maybe my name triggered thw extra search or something.Anyway, that last part is unrelated but my return flight was kind of a struggle.

Cons: We had about seven wheelchair passengers booked on this flight and no one had a clue how to manage it. two ended up being carted off to other gates and the rest boarded slowly, resulting in a 40 minute delay departing. When we got to Charlotte there were planes backed up, another 20 minutes to get to a gate. My 90 minute leisurely stroll to my next flight morphed into a race across three concourses. Charlotte is a nightmare under the best conditions, this just sucked.
