Pros: "Singapore Airlines has everything worked out for you before you land. That's a great help. The stewardesses were just phenomenal and endlessly polite. I will definitely use them again."
Cons: "As much as I normally nitpick something, I literally have no criticism at all of Singapore Airlines. Everything they did was a step above everyone else."
Pros: "The whole Business experience on SQ"
Cons: "During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."
Pros: "Crews were great. Seats space could be better ... overall caring & attentiveness of crew members make a lot of difference."
Cons: "Food! 40 years ago Singapore Airlines was second to none in my book! Now I feel like I was away somewhere and Singapore Airlines has changed dramatically....Must be a lot of moving pieces have changed that I was wondering again during my journey whether I was really flying Singapore Airlines..."
Cons: "Flat bed in business class was disappointing. No way anyone taller than 6’ could stretch out. Overall, it was an inferior experience to business class on Cathay Pacific, which sets the standard IMO."
Pros: "one of the crew was rude. my spouse forgot to fold-up the cup holder, the hostess heat the holder so hard while walking. I don't know but it appeared as very very rude."
Cons: "Improve the process for boarding people were standing there for 45 minutes to 1 hour. People there needs training"
Pros: "Crew was polite."
Cons: "For such a long journey, the plane could have been nicer."
Cons: "Aircrew took my carry on away while I was waiting to board saying it was too large; left me without the essential items I wanted during the 19.5 hours in the air and two plane changes. Other people were allowed to keep carry ons bigger than mine so I don't understand why they did this."
Pros: "Everything food was better selection and allowed me to taste bali food before arriving. The seats were comfortable on the last plane Thank god"
Pros: "smooth boarding process excellent enterntainment offered food is also quite good"
Cons: "seats seem to get smaller, less comfortable then I am used to with Singapore Airlines"
Cons: "Luggages weren’t transferred to Bali together with my flight. Gate check in stroller was sent to baggage claim without notification. I was waiting the whole time after exiting plane."
Good leg room ... air conditioning was a bit warm don't Book row 8 ... no windows
They got to the terminal late, with no one on the arriving flight, boarded us late, and left us sitting there for 2 hours before they got us off the ground. They knew they were going to be late, yet they never got an updated flight plan from their head office until long after the flight was supposed to leave. They could have cut the delay in half, of at least let us stay in the terminal. Really just horrible planning.
The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.
Pros: "Everything went smoothly from check in to arrival. Bags were delivered timely. Flights were on time."
Cons: "No entertainment options. Little to no food service."
Pros: "The crew are ok. They should find jobs with other, better airlines."
Cons: "Flight delayed on both legs. Delay management horrible, call centre was worse."
Pros: "Except for a 1-hour delay, overall the flight was good, smooth and enjoyable. Loved the inflight meal. For the price we paid we got meal and 30kg baggage allowance, we thought that was just value for money. And they departed from KLIA and not klia2 which is more convenient."
Cons: "Flight wasn't on time to and from HKG."
Pros: "The staff were very kind, the seat had a great amount of leg room."
Cons: "There was no alcohol on the flight."
Pros: "For the price that we paid, it included 30kg baggage and refreshment (orange juice, water, coffee, a slice of pizza and a muffin) - it was worth it. The legroom is spacious, the seat was comfortable and the cabin crew was awesome. Flight was on time, check in was acceptable (considering people travelling from Bandung has a lot of check in baggage due to shopping)."
Cons: "Nothing."
Cons: "The flight was over 5 hours delayed and they offered no compensation or extra meal."
Pros: "The seats are more comfortable compared to the other budget airlines."
Cons: "The crew doesn't smile most of the time, sometimes they sound like ordering when they request something. The movies selection is either old, or mostly Indian movies."
No complaints. Made it on time with a minimum of hassle. Some complementary soft drinks would have been nice tho.
The flight itself was fine but we were a bit late on our flight.
I don’t fly also same as previous no refund even it’s airlines or agency mistake
Cons: "Never Kiwi.com again! Thailand to Indonesia both flights on AirAsia but they would not book my bag to final destination. In Kuala Lumpur had to go through customs (LUCKILY! no visa required) get my bag, go security line again, check bag again. Took over 2hrs stressed if I would make my flight."
Pros: "quick boarding, flight duration and scheduled arrival Attracting fares since it’s a budget airline."
Cons: "The seats didn’t even have a recliner."
Pros: "Nothing. We arrived safe"
Cons: "First of all it left late with no explanation. One hour late. Crew did almost nothing. No food at all unless preordered. Not even awater. Lights out for no reason. It was as t even 7:30 when they dimmed the long guts. Only one bathroom in the back and we never saw someone go forward so we were t sure if there was one in the front. Very tight seats."
Pros: "Price. Number of flights."
Cons: "The 7kg hardline AFTER doing the document check nearly caused me to miss my flight thus potentially missing a connection. If AsiAsia are going to keep to this 7kg hardline they really need to do it across all airports and do it during the document check so the number of queues costumers are subjected to are minimized. I did purchase extra weight when purchasing the ticket however that weight MUST be in checked bags only. No margin here for discussion. Perhaps HotSeat passengers are less scrutinized??? This all may be just some transitional pains here and other airlines may follow the same model but in my 200+ flights on Nok Air this has NEVER happened. In fact, they (Nok) have NEVER weighed my carry on bag. Such a shame as the rest of the flight experience was above average. This hardline approach will be an issue if they continue until they beat their customers into taking or leaving it in my opinion. First AirAsia flight for me so the vets reading this will be smiling quietly to themselves ;-)"
Pros: "All ok, seriously, stewardesses look great and very charming with her uniforms, very friendly staff"
Pros: "Fuss free Friendly crew Pay for service"
Cons: "Tight seats Food comes in small portions Website user experience"
Pros: "Missed flight because the Air Asia app could not process my boarding pass. Had to leave my arrival Terminal 1 to pass through Immigration to reach Terminal 2 because Air Asia has no counter in Yerminal 1. All this led to a time consuming exercise and missed counter check-in time. Terrible experience."
I really like air Asia. The flights are running very professionally and both of my flights this last time got in early. Planes were clean. The staff was very professional and helpful. I understand they were supposed to be a budget airline but they don’t act like they’re a budget airline.
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "The check in, the ticket agent the service at baggage window the fact they over charge me for baggage the attitude and unwillingness to help or answer questions will never fly this airline again"
Cons: "Delay announced too late and no consideration for parents travelling with baby"
Cons: "It is one of the best low cost airline.Ground staff very helpful even the cabin crew were supportive"
Pros: "Great flight. Full but very good boarding process. Timely departure. Smooth flight and timely arrival."
Pros: "Flight attendants are well dressed and friendly"
Cons: "My friend and I bought Luang Prabang to Siem Reap tickets with a change in Bangkok. We had both printed our boarding passes and had only carryon bags. They wouldn’t check us in thru to Siem Reap when we were in Luang Prabang, so when we tried to go through transit in Bangkok, the Air Asia agents sent us back to enter Thailand. We had to go through passport control, go up to arrivals and wait in the huge, chaotic lines ( why does AA always have chaotic limes?) and check in again. We then had to go back through immigration and security inspections. Even the immigration and exit officials were questioning why we didn’t go in transit! Took us two hours and lots of extra walking. I only fly Air Asia when I have to, and always think they will have gotten better, but they never do."
Pros: "Excellent timely flight. No food or entertainment for this short flight. Should be not applicable option"
Cons: "Nothing"
Cons: "I always use Kayak to book an international flight Chiang Mai to Denpasar, with my luggage checked through. But this time I went to International in Chiang Mai to check in and found that you had bungled the booking. You booked me Chaing Mai to Bangkok on a DOMESTIC flight, and expected me to get onto the next leg, International,Bangkok to Denpasar, in 2 hours. You left me only 2 hours to disembark in Bangkok, get luggage at the Domestic carousel, go through customs, take luggage to the Check In counter in the International, get boarding pass, go through customs and security. Then race to the boarding gate for my INTERNATIONAL flight to Denpasar. What a trauma. The International Air Asia check in was mobbed!! I only made it in time because staff at the check in found me by chance and put me to the front of the line. I won't use Kayak again, after using you for 15 years. You have a nerve selling such a ticket."
Pros: "Luck of information about baggage which cost me about more than the ticket and more than $100. In my point of view, all of the traveller should get laggage allowances for international. I have never experienced laggage allowances for international flights. Very very disappointed!!!"
Cons: "Luck of information about baggage which cost me about more than the ticket and more than $100. In my point of view, all of the traveller should get laggage allowances for international. I have never experienced laggage allowances for international flights. Very very disappointed!!!"
Pros: "No complementary foods, snacks or drinks offered. No problem since a short flight."
