Greece has restricted the entry of all travelers with the exception of residents from EU+ countries. EU+ consists of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Lichtenstein and Iceland.
Nationals and residents of Australia, Israel, South Korea, New Zealand, Russia, Thailand and UAE may also enter the country.
Those arriving from the UAE must be traveling on a direct flight, and will need to provide proof of permanent residence in the UAE, return tickets and hotel reservations.
Foreign travelers may not arrive from other areas unless they are in an essential category such as healthcare professionals, students, government members, diplomats, military personnel, humanitarian aid workers, airline crew, seasonal workers, travelers in transit, or travelers entering Greece for reasons authorized by the Greek embassy or consulate. Flights from Turkey are suspended, except flights to repatriate Greek nationals and residents and special government-ordered flights.
Travelers arriving from Albania and North Macedonia must arrive at Athens.
All travelers must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test results 72 hours prior to arrival.
In addition to the mandatory pre-travel testing requirements set out above, travelers arriving from the UAE or UK will be required to undergo a rapid COVID-19 test on arrival.
All travelers except those only transiting through an airport in Greece must complete a "Passenger Locator Form (PLF)" 24 hours before check-in. A QR code generated from the completed form must be presented upon arrival.

Travelers are subject to a mandatory 7-day preventive quarantine.
Travelers arriving from the UAE or UK need to self-isolate for 7 days at the address they record on their PLF, in the event of a negative test result. If they are staying for shorter period of time, then they will need to self-isolate until their departure day. At the end of the 7-day self-isolation, travelers should undergo a fresh PCR test in order able to exit quarantine. If the result of their rapid COVID-19 test upon entry to Greece is positive, the Greek authorities will ask them to quarantine until advised otherwise.

Make you better understand, that does it mean for me: in Budapest I missed the first part of my conference, and with the flying back one day later I lost one payed work day. As I have family in Budapest I decided to stay for the night there, and not at Munich, but just rescheduling my flight and providing me a taxi drive was so complicated, that it took two and half extra hrs at the airport, Also Lufhansa put me in my rescheduled back trip the MUC-IAD flight on the 45C seat, what was the worst seat on the plane. Not just that. When they have plenty of empty seat in all of the section, and they wanted to sell it the economy plus seats for more than hundred dollars, I mentioned to the fight attendance my misery ,and how I don't like the seat what I got, and she laughed on me, and I heard her telling her colleagues,this kind of funny way as they were behind me. That's no how they need to treat passenger, Also on flying back they didn't react fast, and they missed to put me on the Frankfurt plane, what could be an alternative route, on the same day, instead they sent me desk to desk."

One steward from Frankfurt to Dallas was pre-judging my food choice based on how I look. Normally that would not bother me, but he kept asking if I had ordered a Vegetarian or Hindu meal several times even after I confirmed that I had requested the standard meals for all my journey. The same steward on the Dallas to Frankfurt demonstrated the same questionable behavior. Infants on the flight get very noisy and Lufthansa Staff can help by asking accompanying parents to be prepared prior to take off and landing with warm milk in the baby milk bottles which the children can ingest to equalize ear drum pressure. Unfortunately cabin crew is not using this simple technique and the children on board cry excessively with lot of pain making everyone around them very uncomfortable. This can be nerve wracking for all accompanying Lufthansa passengers near bulkhead rows. Frankfurt Main is too dependent on bus transportation causing passengers to get wet on days when rain occurs."

No seatback entertainment! On Airbus with very limited overhead hand baggage capacity. Roundtrip cost of this 4 hour flight CDN$800 per person booked 3 months in advance, not much less than transatlantic flight of almost twice the time from Toronto to London on Air Canada Boeing 787 with loads of overhead luggage capacity, free first checked bag, 8 inch screen seat back entertainment system, charging ports, one major meal with wine / beer, unlimited pop, plus snack. A real shocker to get Ryanair amenities on this British Airways flight which was no bargain."

After 60mins, airport info agent checked & said chair was coming. After 75mins, DRK agent arrived with 2 wheelchairs and wasted time trying to find a second passenger needing assistance. Agent then rushed us through terminal with no opportunity to get food or drink or use bathrooms. Got to very remote gate 15mins before departure, and boarded last. Don't use BA Hamburg if you need assistance."

I tried changing my return flight to leave from London- that is, simply dropping the Newcastle/London leg, but went back and forth several times between you and the airline- then simply gave up, instead travelling back to Newcastle to then fly back to London. I then tried to change my seating assignment and the desk agent was unable to give any information about the cost of an upgrade. I finally found out that upgrades are to the cabin, not the seat so just stayed with my middle seat in coach for the 8.5 hour flight. It was puzzling that these issues were so impossible to resolve."

Cons: "I found it surprisingly coincidental that both my wife's and my checked bags did not make the flight to Santorini. Of course, given how the process in dealing with Kayak and this booking, it did not surprise me. Any calls or customer service related questions were handled as though we were 2nd class citizens. I've never been treated like this traveling, but always the attitude came from "oh, you booked this through a discount site" and then I was handled accordingly. I booked it through Kayak for ease as I planned a 7-city, 21 day trip around the Adriatic. Now we'll do our honeymoon without a wardrobe change, filing claims for the contents of our bags, as no one can tell us what happened, or where the bags are, and we're about to depart for our next city. Never, NEVER book a trip from a 3rd party. The seats next to the toilets that don't recline, attitude from airlines, now my first lost bag in 10 years (I fly 3 times a month, too)."

Cons: "I had called vayama with whom you booked the flight, 5/28, and asked for seats together with my daughter who was, I THOUGHT, also flying on the same plane as I..I had asked the rep for a specific flight,nAA 105 and was told that it was code shared with mine, IB4611 but, when I looked at the seats 24 hours before the flight, on 6/15, I saw that I had been booked on a totally different plane and different departure terminals . The only thing similar was the departure and arrival times into JFK. I made a long distance call from the UK and got a really obnoxious rep who was very condescending, dismissive and annoyed that I couldn't understand her pronounced accent . When I said, " pardon, could you please repeat that", she was very snippy and snapped at me! No wonder they have such crappy ratings/ reviews. She was absolutely no help whatsoever after I explained that my daughter was visually impaired and HAD to be on the same flight as I, all she told me was that there was no record of the convo I had claimed to have with their rep on 5/28 and then she hung up on me. I will never use kayak again nor its outsourced affiliates . I am pissed, Weibo Benwitz"

This was 1 of the 2 worst flights that I have ever been on, only second to my other booked flight for this trip home. This flight was 7+ hours long and it was nothing short of horrible. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and barely went back at all. The male flight attendant was clearly annoyed and was short with every person who would ask for anything. He would roll his eyes at every request by customers. At one point I saw him literally toss a sandwich into a customers lap because they were turned the other way and didn't hear him when he asked if they wanted one. There was no way to watch anything unless you had your own device and had downloaded it yourself prior to the flight."
