My spouse and I weren’t allowed to check in online in advance for some reason so we had to go to the airport early to do it in person. At that point, there were no longer any seats left together so we had to sit apart. The plane didn’t have individual air vents for each seat so the whole flight was sweltering. Airline food is always gross but this particular sandwich will haunt me for the rest of my life: emmenthaler cheese on dry hunks of bread with like six slices of cucumber and a pile of shredded carrots…wtf. But the flihhr crew was kind and helpful.

For example, starting with the persons who sit in the back first and then forward. It would speed up the boarding process and alleviate any lines in the aisles in the aircraft. Last but not least, my parties baggage was not transferred during our quick layover from Frankfurt to Krakow. Priority should be given to passengers whose final destination is not Frankfurt. We found out that our luggage's remained in Frankfurt when our names were called by baggage pickup in Krakow. The attendant who was helping us was very cold and treated us as of we were the ones who caused this inconvenience through his tone of voice, as well as his short comments. Lufthansa needs to work on their customer service in Krakow. We were rushed by the agent and it seemed like he wanted to get rid of us asap even though there was no line. We needed to understand where our baggage was and the options available to us, especially because our baggage was carrying important items for my sister in laws bacholerette party that night. We left not knowing when we were going to receive our luggage or if it would even make it to Krakow that night. We called the Number provided to us several times during the Day, however the line did not seem to be actively monitored by an individual. The website we were provided to track our luggage offered little to no insight on the whereabouts of our luggage. We finally found out that the luggage had arrived in Krakow and would be sent by carrier. The carrier arrived late in the evening, right before we were leaving for the bachelorette party thankfully. Better communication in these types of situations would greatly alleviate the stress one feels when their luggage is missing. Aldo surprised that the airline doesn't distribute a care package (I.e. toothbrush, paste, facewash) to passengers whose luggage was left behind."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Really comfortable first class experience. Wife has hip replacement that requires some assistance. We were pre-boarded and attended to extraordinarily well. Food was quite good for airline fare. Very pleasant on time flight.
Crew members were not very friendly. The flight felt rushed with not much communication from the cockpit. One of the bins was left open during take off. No food or drinks were served supposedly due to turbulence but the turbulence was not that bad.
The AA flight attendant’s attitude could have been better. She should take lessons from the fantastic JAL crew.

Cons: "I arrived at the airport and had already checked in and had m boarding passes. For some reason they could not find me when I went to check my bag. After 30 minutes they saw that my seat assignment had been changed and that is why my boarding passes that I had printed at home did not match what their computer showed. I booked this reservation in May and had a seat chosen fairly toward the front. I am 73 years old and the closer to the front I can be helps. When I finally got on the plane to my surprise my seat was the very last seat on the plane across from the restroom. People continued to leave the door open after using the restroom so had to get up and continue to close the door or look at the restroom the whole flight. There was never any explanation as to why they did this. As a result, being lst off the plane, I almost missed my connection as I had to go two terminals over for my connection. At my age I cannot run so I arrived as the last people were getting on the plane. I will never fly American Airlines again."

Many could not get system to work. Antiquated and/or poorly maintained. Also, announcement made it seem as if you had to pay for wine/beer/spirits. I wasn’t drinking so it didnt matter but at other times this would have been a hassle. Never had this on an international flight. Flight was okay just not top drawer like it used to be. Cost cutting measures have impacted the brand. Would not say it is first tier. Dont mind a “no frills” flight if it results in lower cost to consumer (aka Southwest Airlines)"

So when you miss an American conection by under one minute they are keeping you on the ground while there on time performance "sores" . Then you enter the American over night accommodation Line and I don't have tell you how unpleasant that is but a 2 hour wait for a free shuttle to the hotel is one of them."

Cons: "This flight was actually on an American 777. One of the older models. For an almost 9+ hour flight, the in-seat entertainment systems need to be upgraded. The seats did not have USB charging capabilities, the selection of movies at the seat consisted of about 8 choices, and the screen size wasn't much larger than that of an iPhone 6 Plus. This was supposed to be a British Airlines flight, but it really was an American flight. I expected to be on a BA aircraft, which would have probably been upgraded."

My luggage did not arrive. The person at Zagreb did not get my name, phone nor my email entered correctly. My cell phone service did not work well and so it made it really hard to communicate with British Airways. I thought that I had put this information in my profile when I signed up for the rewards program and would have thought that BA could have used it. But nope. My husband had to call them from the states and correct all the miss entered information and then about three days into the trip I received my bag.

Cons: "Where shall I begin? The crew was ok, makes me miss flying JetBlue, the crew can learn a lot from them in what customer service and friendly crew is about!!! In my opinion, if they had the chance to learn, this crew would be the same as they are, because it feels like, get them in and complete the shift. The seat was so uncomfortable that I spent the entire 9 hrs awake. The entertainment was terrible. When watching a movie you can't simply start it when you want so if you miss show time when it started you have to begin where it is...I hope that 1st class is different than what it feels like to ride in coach because it makes me feel like steerage! I most certainly would not take this airline to Europe unless I had better accommodations because being in the coach section sucks!"
