The first time, I woke up on my own to see everyone finishing their food, so I asked for a meal and I got one; the second time, I woke up to see the trash being collected, but never got a chance to ask for my meal because no member of the flight staff passed me again. I landed in LA at midnight and was starving."

Cons: "We gate checked our stroller and carseat intending to pick them up at the gate when we land. This is something we do every flight we take with no issue, but despite the gate agent confirming that the items would meet us on the jetway, when we landed, we were informed that we would need to pick them up in baggage claim. This meant that instead of having our infant sleeping in his car seat as we spent an hour + going through customs, we had to carry a crying baby around the entire time. In addition to the fact that we asked the gate agent told us the wrong thing, instead of being handled with care, the stroller and car seat were sent down the baggage claim carousel with all of the other bags, getting banged up. This was incredibly frustrating and a terrible customer service experience."

Cons: "The terminal was a long way from the main terminal and accessible only by shuttle bus. Also we had to re-check our bags following our first leg flight and subsequently couldn't change our flights to an earlier departure."

Cons: "Bag drop was unnecessarily slow with long processing lines. The gate area and on-boarding process was a zoo. Business Class seats (opposing design) were spartan and relatively uncomfortable. My upstairs 50B seat viewed directly into the wash room which made sleeping impossible. Food was not good. Overall, this is the weakest Business Class experience of recent memory especially for a newer wide-body aircraft."

Pros: "Smooth at GRR. A little Delay in CLT. It was a good experience because we weren't on a deadline to be somewhere."

Pros: "We made up time in the air and landed early. Seats were very comfortable."
Cons: "We landed early but had to wait a half hour to be able to get to an open gate. Then when arriving at the gate the jet bridge was unavailable so we waiting on the plan for an hour after touchdown. Then during my baggage claim pick up I found it open and spilling out into the bin and it was the first time I used this suitcase. Overall, I don't think it was the airlines fault but the airports fault at LAX, however all of these thing combined made it a less enjoyable flight/experience."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 90+ minutes, yet they didn't tell anyone until 90 minutes prior to departure. They knew of system delays and should have updated many hours before the flight but they didn't and had us all there very early waiting around doing nothing."

Cons: "From the get go it was an awful experience ... I travel with an emotional support animal as does my husband because we don't do well with flying. I have anxiety to the max about it & my husband gets ulcerative colitis flare ups any time he's stressed out which is usually while we fly and having our dogs with us turkey makes us feel better. When I called to tell them over the phone we would have our emotional support animal I got an attitude as if I hadn't been doing this for the last 4 years. She reiterated to me that we needed in addition to the letterhead from the doctor a form filled out (which we both did ) . Brought to the airport and sit had to sit at the counter like the girl didn't know what she was doing. Fast forward to finally getting to the gate after being stressed and our flight was delayed. This now only made our 50 min layover in DC 20 min by the time we landed. We ran from one gate to the next hoping we wouldn't miss our flight and when we got there they wouldn't let us on the plane saying things like "your dogs are not on this flight" "there is no documentation" "well then you must not have the right paperwork" ... in front of a bunch of people in line, out of breath, and now embarrassed I am forced to take out my folder and give them all the paperwork I had just given to the customer service desk before our first flight. They let everyone on the plane and still made us stand there and finally said "just go but your dogs aren't on this flight". Fast forward AGAIN to sitting on the flight the flight attendant comes over and says "guys where's you carrier the dogs need to be under the seats" .. we peoceeded again to explain for the seventh time that they were emotional support animals ... she then proceeded "no they are not they are not even listed on this flight" at this point I'm EXTREMLY embarrassed because people on the plane are paying attention and drawing attention to us but not only that ... I have been doing this for years .. I ALWAYS have the proper documentation as does my husband and we have never ran into this kind of disappointment and embarrassment from any airline until now. I was so stressed out to begin with and this deffinately didn't help ... nor did it make us wants to fly on American again. I felt pushed aside, embarrassed, and belittled by multiples employees ... all because the first employee clearly made a mistake and didn't document things correctly ... that should have never been put on us ."

Pros: "There were several empty seats on the flight, and Evelyne was very helpful in reseating me to a seat where I had enough room to use the in-flight wifi and work a full, productive day (without a seat in front of me obstructing the use of my laptop). She's the epitome of customer service."

Cons: "AA canceled my flight my kids who live 4 hours away from San Diego drove that distance to pick me up yesterday, we got a hotel room for the canceled flight but they ended up paying $200 for the night. AA did not let us know thr flight was canceled until late last night."

Cons: "I purchased a round trip ticket to Miami for my infant son and I to accompany my wife on her business trip. First off, there was a 2.5 hour delay. The flight was overbooked. The lady at the ticket counter would not switch my seat to be seated next to my wife and 4 month old infant. Luckily the gentleman beside her was willing to switch seats so that she could comfortably breast feed our son. My checked luggage was severely damaged. The side of the luggage was caved in and one wheel was completely ripped off while the other was partially damaged. A cart had to be rented in order to transport the broken suitcase through the airport to the rental car service area where we picked up our car. The infant car seat belonging to a $180 traveling system was damaged and is missing pieces that secure the broken canopy. We were rudely advised by a staff member to file a report as she pointed in the general directional of a line a mile long. We have been advised by the manufacturing company to discontinue the use of this car seat because it is no longer considered safe for the baby to travel in. Should we ever be involved in an accident, the car seat would likely fail to ensure the baby's safety due to the mishandling by American Airline employees. Unfortunately since the flight was ridiculously delayed and my son was ill, we were unable to file the report. My wife has since contacted American Airlines via telephone and intends to write them a formal written complaint."

Cons: "3 hour delay in take off and landing, malfunctioning door not weather caused the delay Moved to other gate and plane with blasts of cold air on passengers Stood on plane after landing Stood on bus waiting to be driven to exit point in terminal Missed the train that I had ticket for, bought online, so I lost the money and lost the day planned around the train schedule (plane was supposed to arrive at 7:10 and it landed after 10:00. I moved as quickly as possible through all stages, with no checked bags, cash in hand, but I missed a 12:30 train and failed to meet the guide lined up to meet me"

Pros: "I was very impressed with the ease of check in and the very professional staff. One woman in particular stands out, she went out of her way to make sure everyone was satisfied. She even remembered my name after meeting me only once, and the flight was fully booked. I really liked the monitors at every seat and the choices of free in flight movies."

Cons: "We flew from Toronto to Calgary, the original flight was suppose to be from Toronto to S.F. we were told that the original flight had been cancelled because the flights did not match up, the one coming from Aruba got in to late to make the connecting flight it was a nightmare i will probably never fly Air Canada again nor will i recommend to others"

Cons: "For non-U.S. Citizens the transiting in Canada is inconvenient and expensive. I wouldn't travel through Canada by plane again."

Pros: "Why Canada created a ridiculous process that requires a $7 payment for transmitting in Canada is beyond me. I hope they realize they are impairing the competition of it's own national airline."

Cons: "Our flight got canceled 12 hours before we were supposed to take off. They postponed our flight 24 hours. It took forever to change it so that we still arrived at our destination on the same day. I'm glad I checked my email before going to bed because otherwise I would have shown up to the airport not knowing my flight was canceled. That should not have happened. It almost ruined my trip."

Pros: "I prefer to fly Air Canada over the other airlines that fly between New York and Toronto because of the comfort and cleanliness in the aircraft and pleasant service."

Pros: "The most outstanding part of the trip was the Check-In Agent. My original flight was cancelled and the very lovely lady at Check-In was so nice, very professional and just gr at to work with. On the whole AC is just, well, better than average and a great outlook on the people perspective."

Cons: "Was delayed 2 hours on the way there (MTL to NYC). On the way back my flight was cancelled and was booked on the next flight. I had my gfs bday and couldn't miss it. What a bad experience."

Cons: "When someone has a terrible experience with a single individual it's just an anomaly. When it came to our experience it's easy to see that it's systemic and come from the top down in that company. The lack of customer service training is apparent. It was rampant and the overall feeling was just plain rudeness exuding from every team member. I'll never fly Air Canada again."

Cons: "Flight canceled due to mechanical problems. Out of 4 agents at desk at airport only one knew what to do in case of a cancellation. They all stood around eating raisinettes! Unprofessional, lack of training, lack of planning (why wasn't another plane sent). One agent was going through the line giving out a phone number to call? Why weren't they trained? I called and thankful I was up at the desk so I could tell the agent what to do from the lady on the phone! Lost a day on our already short Christmas visit with family. Would love a refund!"

There was no attendant at the desk until 1.45 hours prior to boarding. We almost missed the flight, and as a result, the connection to London. If possible, I will not fly air Canada again"

Cons: "My first flight was late then cancelled, then replaced by another. That one was late too and made me miss my connecting flight. I had to spend the night stuck in the Toronto airport with nowhere to safely sleep and my late arrival meant the entire first day of my long planned vacation was ruined. I was supposed to get to my destination around 10 in the morning, instead I arrived around one in the morning the next day. All I got from Air Canada for this trouble was a $10 meal voucher for airport restaurants that cost $25 and were closed during my stay."

Cons: "BOARDED LATE AND IN GATES VERY FAR FROM CHECKING. The (solitary) crew member did not speak French. Everything she said in French was unintelligible- very offensive (and disturbing) for Francophone passengers such as myself. And for a Canadian carrier- This shows no respect for our pluralism. When we book online and try to pick priority seating, then find out that the plane is so small that the 9th row means 9 out of 12 or something, this feels like a con. Especially when we pay extra. Stop making people pay for seats that don't get them any priority boarding (Zone 3!) and offer no real advantage."

Pros: "TV, music, and Movies were available at no additional charge. The passed out headphones also at no charge. All of the movies were available with subtitles in many languages. The were snacks, a dinner and breakfast plus a beverage service in between. Pillows and blankets were provided."

It also doesn't help that the flight was late arriving and unboarding so that it could be reboard by new customers and updates were unhelpful and useless when attached to the plea for someone to give up their seats. 0 out of 5 stars...would NOT recommend."

Cons: "I got bumped. Even though, I made my flight on time AND had chosen my seat over a month ago, air Canada decided to bump me from my international flight. I was able to get a seat but not the seat I would have chosen (I'm six foot, I can't sit by the window). Since it was so crowded, I couldn't stretch my legs or use the loo. Finally I PAID for the seat I was bumped from; no one can tell me when I'll get reimbursed."

Pros: "For someone that hasn't flown for 10+ years, the airports at Toronto and Indianapolis were extremely easy to navigate, the staff pointed me in the right direction, and the flights had no delays"
Cons: "The only available flights were tiny planes, but they weren't very long trips, so it didn't matter much."

Pros: "My flight was delayed, and air canada staff worked hard to get me to my destination with a different connecting flight."
