Pros: "This flight was on-board a Fiji Airways plan, not Air NZ. The crew were fantastic, the food was very tasty, all sorts of drinks available, lots of overhead storage, plenty of entertainment options on video screen, restrooms adequate/typical, great pilot, smooth take-off and landing."
Cons: "I did not enjoy the tiny, cramped seats - the smallest I've been squeezed into in many years. Hard bottom and narrow; when the girl in front of me put her seat back, her headrest was right in front of my teeth. Also, they use the old school dual-headphones that don't sit flat on your ears and there was no jack available for personal ear buds. Opportunities for improvement!"

Cons: "IF it weren’t for the freezing cabin temp, I wouldn’t have needed. blanket that smelled like everyone’s feet had been wrapped in it. The breakfast was lukewarm, and some parts were even still cold that should hve been hot."

Cons: "The lines were long to check our bags. I enjoyed the chicken curry meal but other people did not like it since it was a little spicy."

Pros: "Our flight to NAN was delayed five hours ; however, when we came to the check-in desk, they knew immediately who we were and informed us of a change. The staff at the desk [a man and a woman] were extremely helpful and verified a change would be acceptable and they put in all of the work to make it happen - we returned an hour later and they had switched us to a flight from SYD - SFO - LAX on Qantas airlines. Things from there went off without a hitch ; while our departure time was still 5 hours later, we arrived to the US earlier than we would have on the SYD-NAN-LAX flight."

A staff member had the nerve to tell me to let a first class customer go before me to the restroom (although I was in line to use my assigned restroom) because “he was first class and his assigned restroom was occupied.“"

Pros: "Airline stays rooted in its culture. The interior, uniforms, and ambience all give way to the Fiji island culture. They also give a small pillow and blanket in every seat."
Cons: "I wish the seats were a bit wider and had more legroom. But overall the airline is on average for space and I have flown in more uncomfortable seats."

Cons: "The gate agent was extremely rude and asked to see our passports. She insisted our carry on be checked in. My son is disabled and requires an isle chair. The gate staff did not allow time for him to get to his seat before letting the rest of the passengers board and the staff assisting him were very upset as were the passengers who were wondering what was taking so long to get to their seats."

Cons: "Flight was very cold. We went through security three times. Limited number of movies and music. Food was not poor quality. Boarding took forever and there were a couple of excuses for the delay given in an unprofessional manner. Overall I would pay extra to take a different airline next time."
