Everything was fine it was just cold

First class and crew checked on me once to distribute food but never came back to collect garbage. Found myself getting up to throw away trash because they collected it from everyone around me. Also never came back to ask if I wanted a refill on my drink or if I was content; I was watching a movie so I was awake.

Pros: "the crew took very good care of us"
Cons: "Better seats. What’s the deal with always getting the back of the plane? Seats right next to the engine. Very tired of getting the worst seats even when I check in within minutes of the the 24 hour window. Really tired of the bad seats."
Cons: "My sister’s checked in luggage was in poor shape when we got it in Albany. We noticed an outside compartment was unzipped. So we checked to see if anything was missing and a souvenir from Mexico was gone. Then we realized a zipper was missing from the luggage and then decided to check all the other compartments and realized her bag of jewelry was gone. The woman at baggage services in Albany told us Delta is not responsible for lost belongings. Also tried to tell us theft is not an issue because there are cameras everywhere. Well you are telling someone that is missing a bag of jewelry that theft is not a problem. Also, there may be cameras everywhere but I doubt anyone is going to review those cameras to see what happened. I will never fly Delta again."

Timely boarding, actual help with finding seats making boarding efficient (not just hurrying you along), updates from the cockpit that you could hear and understand, multiple choices in snacks-one even a healthy option, staff that was friendly and interested in making it a good experience not one that seemed bothered they had to work."

They waited for us to get off one plane , walk a long way, and board the plane to Great Falls!

Boarding was slow and complicated, lack of communication between passengers and Front desk. It was disastrous I have expectations for economy plus, but at the end it's too expensive for such a low " benefits " The crew just visit my seat for takeoff, food and beverage, landing. Very poor attention.

Cons: "I didn't go on my trip. My course in SF was cancelled and United would n't refund my money or change the dates for my trips because of there basic economy package. They have 3 different economy packages and the economy basic doesn't get refunds and you can't change the flights if needed. It feels like they are banking on increasing there ROI with this basic economy ticket which is 40 -60 dollars cheaper than the next economy package. Intuitively they know people will pick that, but if something comes up the customer is screwed."

Then download more software. At each step, I would scroll through an entire list of movies (painstakingly slowly) to get to the one I wanted, only to find that I needed to do yet another slow process before I could proceed. Finally, after 30 minutes of effort, I was watching my movie! And then 10 minutes into it, it cut off and I could not re-open it. Thanks for wasting my time and killing my soul with this “entertainment.”"

I was not told when I bought the ticket that I will need a visa to transit between Bruxel to Zurich. Now they told me that my only option is to buy another ticket . Didn't receive email and called again, were told that it was fixed in the system. Checked in for first flight and original seats were back, were told we had to fix when boarding. Called support again they told us the same thing. Agent at gate rudely said "no chance at all"."

Didn't give us food vouchers and they weren't paying for your hotel if you had to stay over night. The planes are super old and have no TV's, not very comfortable. Worst experience ever... never again am I flying with United."

I never have problems with United and like how pilots keep us informed with when to expect turbulence. The first hour through storms was a bit scary. T.v. on the seats was a good feature but I didn't order anything."
Cons: "I put my phone in the pocket in front of me and when I took it out it was sticky with gum someone put in there. Inevitably crew can't check every pocket and nook for gum or garbage from previous travelers. I don't blame them. We almost were asked to leave the flight bc it was overbooked by 2 seats. Made me a bit nervous when we walked by check-in and they pointed out we were a traveling pair. Lucky there were a few others"

By the time I got to my new flight gate- it was delayed so would miss my next connecting flight. Long story short it's 3 hours past when I was suppose to leave and settled for s flight to PDX tonight getting in at midnight. My friend From eugue is picking me up in Portland tomorrow. Cons: "No one could get their story straight and actually lied! I was sent a text (I was already at the airport) that the flight would be delayed due to "aircraft maintenance". Not true in the least bit. Then when we finally landed in Denver (nearly every person on that flight missed their connecting flights) we were told the system said the delay was "due to weather". Another lie. Then they announced there would be gate agents to meet us when we got off the plane to assist with connecting flights. First gate agent said "I have no information you have to go to gate 56". The person at gate 56 said "I don't open for another 15 minutes so you have to go to gate 39"! The real story? They made us change gates 5 times in Fargo! The gate attendant was using the "F-bomb"! It wasn't aircraft maintenance or the weather. They couldn't get the walkway to work! In the end, we still left from the original gate and had to walk outside on the tarmac to board the plane. Why didn't they just opt for that to begin with and avoid all the missed flights? My measly voucher isn't nearly enough compensation and if United ever expects me to fly with them again I am expecting a full refund (as other passengers received- I witnessed the manager in Denver authorize a full refund for another passenger but only offered me $50)"

Cons: "I flew round trip to Bangkok from Chicago last year for $460. Why does one way from Fargo N.D. To Green Bay, WI cost $480?! My flight said it was late on the screen (6:40) but actually flew on time. I think a kid missed his flight because of it. My connecting flight in Chicago was way too tight because of a LONG delay waiting to unboard. Had to run, yes run through ORD to get to terminal 2 from 1 within minutes to catch my flight. It was too stressfu and expensive."
