Cons: I started my journey from JFK with Emirates and before booking ticket I checked with customer care representative regarding the baggage allowance and I was told that I am allowed to carry up to 55 inch . I just carried 43 inch tv weighing 19lbs and one check-in baggage weighing 21kgs and they made me pay 175$ saying that tv size is not in allowed limitations. I have also filed complaint but didn’t get any response so far . Last year my husband carried 55 inch with ethihad from same airport JFK and was not charged single penny. so I can say there is no airport restriction as well.

Cons: Our trip coincided with Eid. It's probably as busy a travel period as Thanksgiving. There were maybe 40 or 50 small kids on the plane, with concomitant noise, mess, and confusion. Everyone was packed in. Boarding felt chaotic. Staff did their best. Food was not as good as on some Emirates flights I've been on. However, it was over quickly. No harm done. Flying can be delightful. Or not. And Emirates seems to handle those days when "not" pretty well.

Speaking of the crew, they weren't helpful. At one point, I had asked to use the restroom, and I couldn't get in. Again the crew provided no rationale as to why. Then, a few HOURS later, a lady approached me and said I could go "very quickly". This was my first time flying with Emirates and I don't think I'll be flying with them again.

Pros: After what happened on Wednesday August 3rd I expected there to be some craziness but not like this. I was checked in by an employee who just started that day. She tells me in a faint voice "sir you may not make this flight". After that she tells me to check back 1 hour before the flight leaves. So I do, another teller states you made the flight please go to security. I have 45 minutes before the flight is schedule to leave at 3pm. I rush with my wife from one part of DXB to the other. Somehow make it there, but then have to wait for over 2 hours because of a connecting flight being delayed, unbelievable. Then when we land and I try to claim my bag, the bags are lost. Not just mine quite a few passengers. I go to baggage claim and the teller is screaming at me and other passangers "shut up, I don't care about your bag". This is the most disrespectful moment of the trip, never have I experienced a customer service provider yell at me like this. This experience is a direct reflection of emirates lack of management in their hiring process, as well as their ability to train their staff in high stress environments. Will I fly emirates again probably not, paying a premium for below average service is not worth it. The cabin crew were very thoughtful and respectful and made the trip bareable, their ground crew is anot her story.

Once arrived in Boston, took 1hr before luggage started unloading, and then to find out our 4 bags didn't come at all. Staff on ground not courteous, wouldn't send bags to home town in Raleigh. Had to wait till afternoon to get the bags and then fly to final destination. Entertainment system very bad, audio/video stop and go, stop and go- really terrible (though notice some people's screens were working fine).

At the machine to check my bag in , a airport worker ran up to my bag and slammed it onto the ground as well as ripped off my luggage tags. My bag was upright on the conveyer belt instead of on its side , but how rude the airport workers are, is rediculous. After I asked why she did that she just began ordering me around to move my bag after I got my bag through the machine I asked to speak to a manager as the airport worker was extremely rude and unprofessional. No one would give me the time of day and the same airport working out her hand in my face saying repeatedly goodbye in German. I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Trying to get through security a few travelers on a thin patience level started pushing people in line trying to by pass others it was so very chaotic workers had to go in between. Before we got to Chicago eveyone had to be seatbelt s before landing and the flight attendant asked eveyone to buckle up. The mother of the baby wouldn't listen and began yelling at flight crew. I think the flight crew did a great job, the passenger and child were very disruptive making the flight at times very uncomfortable. I wouldn't suggest infants or toddlers flying for such long trips. Cons: I have flown on many budget airlines that were more comfortable than this flight. Hard uncomfortable chairs with a lack of leg space (and I'm only 1.70m). The food was poor and the service was worse- i pressed my call button for a drink mid-flight and it kept getting cancelled without a steward coming. Finally, after pressing the call button about 10 times a steward came and begrudgingly brought me a drink. Choice of movies was poor.

Cons: Rough turbulence, unfortunately nothing to do with the airline.
Pros: Comfort+ seats have excellent leg room.
Cons: This flight crew couldn’t have been more obnoxious. Announcements about every 15 minutes on a 4 hour flight. I felt bad for anyone trying to sleep, as it was impossible with the extremely loud announcements that were not only unnecessarily frequent, but we’re painfully repetitious.
Cons: Social distancing in the seating, the flight was booked every seat.

Cons: Passenger behind us allowed 2 children to misbehave for the entire flight. Parent rammed our seats many times. Upon leaving they physically assaulted my daughter.

Cons: I had to check my carry on because they ran out of room on the plane way too early- a lot of us had to check carry ons. Crew in second flight- one lady was rather miserable with her attitude in general. The rest of the crew was great.

Cons: We kept on being told that there was going to be turbulence and that it would be too rocky to serve food/drinks - but there was limited turbulence and the flight was very smooth. There was also a delay in leaving as there was an extra bag in hold but they 'couldn't find it'.

Cons: Too late to download app once on plane so stuck for hours without entertainment on a long flight. They wanted to charge for most everything. First class was not as good as economy on other airlines. I have no idea why anyone would select United on purpose. I know I will not pick them again...

Cons: Our home was damaged, and we were without power for 6 days due to Hurricane Irma. We called the airlines repeatedly in an effort to cancel the ticket before the flight. They refused to cancel the tickets. Heartless

Pros: The male flight attendant who was in the rear respectfully listened to me.
Cons: The United passenger agent that talked to me at the gate when the other one, who was scanning the boarding passes put me on the side because I could not board with two items was disrespectful. She used a discriminating tone and embarrassed me in front of other people. She made it sound as if it were a shame to purchase a cheap ticket. She was arguing with another passenger before helping me over the same subject, so when I tried to explain that the smallest backpack was almost empty and fit inside the other, she was impatient, upset ignored me and was already demanding my credit card with the bag tag in her hand rushing me. I paid extra $60.00 after I had paid $25,00 for the first bag when I could have put the flexible kipling inside the Jansport if she had listened to me. The flight delayed after I was unable to defend myself and paid an unfair feer.
Pros: Comfortable seats, pleasant crew
Cons: The flight was over 3 hours delayed (we took off later than we were planned to arrive). The boarding process was very long with frequent delays. There was no sense of urgency to board quickly. Once we were boarded we sat at the sky bridge for another 10-15 minutes before departing.
Pros: Free upgrade to Economy + (more legroom) , I even did not know why I have been cerdited toget it, bit I definitely lieked it. I also liked the option to volunteer for check our carry-on at the gate. Coffe and snck quite adequte for th short journey

They feared i would possibly be stuck in Houston until the next afternoon so they put me in hotel and gave me a food voucher to stay in Orlando. I am leaving to catch the first flight to Chicago this morning and make it to my final destination in time for my evening plans in Iowa. They turned a bad situation around for me. I love that

Pros: The main reason why I even flew United is that I was desperate to get my destination that day and they had the cheapest flight. It helped that the Customer Service Representative ( Liz at MCO) was extremely helpful and understanding of my situation. My experience with Liz has changed my outlook on the company. There are still humans beings working in United Airlines!
Cons: I chose to fly Southwest on the way back and for less money I received better service. If you find a reasonably priced flight you don't have to worry about paying extra for baggage or stomach during the flight. On the flight home, I realized that they have bigger seats, your bags ( 1 personal, 1 carry-on, and 2 checked bags) are "free" and they give you a little snack to hold you for maybe and hour. Overall I prefer Southwest because of all the benefits you get while flying with them but it doesn't mean I will never fly United again.
Pros: Nothing. Smelled and looked like death. Got better service from zombies.
Cons: Worst service from an airline and 3rd party vendor. I couldn't believe the level of disorganization from their "core" team. I will NOT ever use this service and especially not the American airlines staff, crew or phone staff. This did not only affect my day poorly, but also impacted my family and disrupted my finances. This will not be the last time you hear from me I was very unimpressed.

Pros: The hostess upgraded our tickets to accommodate a family, she moved my husband and I towards the front not together but that's ok because he always sleeps the whole trip and we were only a row apart.FREE WIFI.

Cons: The check in process was a zoo. Stood in line for 45 minutes to check in with United. Only 2 reps were working manual check ins. About 6 reps were accepting bags but mostly just chit chatting between themselves. They pointed anyone with a question to the very long manual check in line. It was very obvious they did not care. The plane was packed solid and it was uncomfortably warm on the flight.

Pros: The plane was punctual, and the captain got us home in less time than we expected. Excellent.
Cons: A couple degrees more of seat recline would not have bothered me from either end. I would not have felt intruded upon had the gentleman in front of me had another degree or two, and I might have been able to find a comfortable napping position that didn't leave me uncomfortable. We didn't eat anything on the flight this time, but the complimentary snacks on our other flight were tasty, and the Gin&Tonic was exactly what I needed. While we didn't pay for the in-flight entertainment, we know the entertainment is exceptional, and were only disappointed we were pinching pennies. Boarding was pleasant enough in Newark, but Orlando is a terrible airport, and people there seem very ill-mannered. Not United staff, just people in general.
Pros: My originally scheduled flight was overbooked and I asked at the counter if I could say "Yes" to the query about willingness be bumped at the Kiosk and get more details. She arranged for me to get on an earlier flight and that was helpful.
Cons: Because I was voluntarily "bumped" at the ticket counter instead of at the gate, I was not offered any compensation. Seems odd that I would have to be put through the rush/hassle of going to the gate to be compensated for doing this favor for United.

Cons: Made me check my carry on because they stated there was no room which was not the case when I walked on ( found at least 6 spots). I requested to at least be able to look for myself seeing as how my seat was in the very back, but they refused. Also, allowed many customers to store their personal bag ( their backpack) in the bins that were oversized which should have counted as their carry on, just allowed them because they wanted to. They should have made those individuals check their "carry on". Also limited snacks available by the time they were able to provide service to my area of the plane.
Pros: That the captain kept us informed as much as he knew constantly. Liked that allot. They kept apologizing for the weather delay.
Cons: When we had to taxi back to the terminal to get more gas and sit there realizing we would be on the plane 5 plus hours instead of 2 1/2 hours, I wish they would have found a way to bring lunches onto the plane for purchase. I think everyone would buy. I brought a few snacks but not much. That would have turned the experience into excellent. They could have sent someone to grab yogurts or packed sandwiches. Would have helped.
Cons: We paid 160$ to upgrade both of our seats to economy plus for more leg room. Unfortunately, when we got to our seats, we realized our seats could not recline because they were in front of the exit row, which is understandable but we wished it would have warned us of that obstacle when we picked out the seats. I am also 5 months pregnant and so we felt that we paid more for what turned out to be a less comfortable flight.
Cons: delayed for 4hrs missed my transfer sleeping in SFO and my suitcase is in DFW. been traveling for 16hrs or so today fly out in another 6hrs. no food it's all closed. just a wonderful travel experience. sigh.
Pros: We had a good flight on a beautiful day. Smooth ride no weather or atmosphere issues. Thank God. Stewardess was very polite.
Cons: Wheel chairs were not provided in time. We had to wait till airline emptied and still wait. Cause of lack of assistance for wheel chair transporters. Some had connecting flights, pray they made it there. The ones that came to pick us up one two persons for eight people could not do the job. So we were taken off air craft n put out in lobby, to wait for all to be off the aircraft and then transport, one at a time to baggage claim area. Transporters and stewardess did a very gd job. Just the lack of help. Air conditioner on plane was off, so even ten minutes of smell bathrm, is just too much when air conditioning is off. I got very congested and had to use the inhaler, after a couple of sneezes due to environmental allergies. On top of that, cleaning people got on to clean w chemicals, only to affect me some more. Now I stuffed up, feel horrible, nite was bad with asthma n allergies that could have been avoided.
Pros: Boarding was quick, that was pleasant
Cons: No channels were available to watch for free besides one channel. Someone got sick on the plane with a stomach bug, they delayed the flight an hour to clean it, plus once we landed, we had to wait as they escorted these people out another 25 minutes. They were not keeping us in tuned with an approximate time on this delay. They didnt offer beverages or snacks to help ease the time as i was starving, did not eat all day. The snacks were not great. Overall not a good flight. Surprised Frontier and other budget airlines are better ran.
Pros: Checked in through united app - said see agent for seat assignment. This was a connection from Orlando to Milwaukee
Cons: I went to the gate agent who was rude, no smile - just said "I have to get checked in I will call you". I waited . She beckoned across for my name. Then called me up with her finger. She asked if I had a ticket (hadn't looked for my name correctly) she told me I'd have to wait until all had boarded and a volunteer gave up their seat. I did get on(last one)- Never a smile or an explanation. Will not fly united again. There are plenty of choices.
