Cons: "Seats were a little dirty especially for the COVID-19 going around."
Pros: "Kind staff, comfortable seats, movies, easy flight - pretty much everything was great!"
Cons: "Nothing- it went very smoothly."
Pros: "Everything ok. I was hoping to buy food but glad to see almonds as one of the free snacks. Delta seems to be upping its game a bit lately."
Cons: "No US carrier seems able to master smooth boarding without standing waits."
Cons: "Less legroom than other airlines but have never flown to South America before"
Pros: "We arrived eventually."
Cons: "Flight delayed three hours. Payed extra for an earlier flight. Very disappointing."
Pros: "The Movie selection was pretty good for such a long flight."
Cons: "Seats front to back is WAY too short in economy. Person in front of me put their seat back putting my movie screen 2in in front of my face. Plus, when a meal arrived, I had to put my elbows into my neighbors seat to cut because I couldn't put them front to back. Crew seemed uncaring."
Cons: "Disembarking could be more efficient"
Cons: "Delta delayed the flight from LAX to SLC, which subsequently made me miss the connecting flight from SLC to ORD. Completely unacceptable"
Pros: "The seats felt roomier in this smaller plan than the bigger ones and one of the flight attendants was lovely!"
Cons: "It was so dirty! The flight attendant who spoke over the PA mumbled and was not clear at all in anything she said. Maybe she was tired and had a long day but she definitely didn’t seem to want to be there. I didn’t know that you got a receipt with your seat number on it because it wasn’t explained and that was my first time flying Delta in years. Overall one of the worst flights but thankfully it was fast!"
Pros: "Terrific service."
Cons: "Everything was great."
Pros: "It was on time"
Cons: "Plane too cold."
Pros: "That I got to my destination safely, and my luggage wasn't lost"
Cons: "The seats are so uncomfortable, and trying to sleep on the flight was nearly impossible."
Pros: "I earned miles for it."
Cons: "It was an old 767 that either needs to be gutted and redone, or sold to FedEx for cargo. The entertainment systems were relics from 2002, and barely worked. USB port, nope. Then they ran out of food and booze (wine mostly), so they made the nonrev employees go without, which was awkward gif the rest. But the kicker was that they lost my luggage. I told them that it hadn’t been boarded ten minutes prior to pushback. The Venice folks were very excited to be able to show me exactly where they list it (because of the RFID bag tags)... doesn’t do me much good... 10 miles away or 10,000 miles away, I still don’t have my “stuff”"
Pros: "Entertainment on the flight was fantastic."
Cons: "Delta really struggles with trying to get everyone in the plane in an orderly fashion. Window seats must climb over all of the aisle passengers that got on before."
Cons: "Rude stewardesses; I was traveling with 3 children onanovernight flight. I just wanted the simplest things- blankets and headphones for them. I cannot believe that an overnight flight wouldn’t be stocked with pillows and blankets. We froze al the way across the Pacific."
Cons: "We landed hours late and sat on runway for 1 hour. On top of that this plane was our 3rd equipment change."
Cons: "The boarding process is quite confusing with all the different categories of people prior to the actual listed "zone" boarding. As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."
Pros: "Staff was great!"
Cons: "No TV for movies."
Pros: "Still the best great airline"
Pros: "Cabin service was coffee or water. Short flight tome of 45 minuted."
Cons: "Only offered cookies...would have liked nuts."
Cons: "Layover"
Cons: "Delta refused to assign my seats until just before boarding, even though I booked my flights months in advance. This is very stressful and totally unacceptable to treat passengers this way."
Cons: "Very uncomfortable, seats did not recline and seats way too close together."
Pros: "Able to watch an interview. Then part of a movie which makes the time fly."
Cons: "Late departure. Late arrival. So I got my car and landed in terrible traffic. Which I had hoped to avoid."
Pros: "Getting to China, albeit two days late."
Cons: "The fact that the lack of knowledge regarding international travel visas by the counter staff and supervisor meant that two days of the vacation were lost. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."
Pros: "This was a redeye flight that was very smooth."
Cons: "I had an aisle seat and a male flight attendant kept going up and down the aisle bumping my shoulder. If I were a big person I could understand the bumping. He was wider than the aisle. At last count he bumped me 7 times while I was trying to get some sleep on this 5 hour redeye flight. I was going to confront him on his next trip but finally fell asleep before then."
Cons: "When I was transferred to Delta's website to book, the date was reset to 6 months in the future. It happened to be the same Monday the 26th so that's why I didn't notice. Delta refused to refund my money. This was a terrible experience and I plan not to use Kayak or Delta again!"
Pros: "The infotainment screen on back of headrests."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "The fact that my flight was delayed for the second time in the past week"
Pros: "I had a guy offer me his window seat. Nice guy. It was only 2 hrs. We arrived on time. Pretzels and drinks."
Cons: "No entertainment."
Pros: "Seats in economy had a little more elbow room and space. They offered free movies and free satelite tv as well as better snack options."
Cons: "Not being able to pick seats until the gate. Traveled with 4 friends and all of us sat separate. 4 of us in middle seats."
Pros: "The crew was great on both Korean air and Delta. Very helpful and polite, with several going the extra mile"
Cons: "I'm tall, so I'd like bigger seats, but I guess that can't be helped much without a price increase"
Pros: "The delta connection flight waited for our flight so we were able to make our cruise :-)"
Cons: "The delay in the beginnning caused a bit of anxiety that we might miss our connecting flight which could've resulted in a missed cruise"
Pros: "good movie selection."
Cons: "fat guy in the middle constantly moving seat barrier up to get more room."
Pros: "Free games and movies in the headrest TV. Really cool"
Cons: "It was extremely hot and uncomfortable on the plane."
Cons: "Waited on tarmac at Laguardia more than 45 minutes after landing for gate to open up."
Cons: "I was on the way to the airport when I was notified of the 1st delay. I am sure Delta knew there were issues already and should have let me know earlier in the day. The delays kept increasing. We were offered snacks at the gate. That is it. No free drinks on the plane, no free premium movies. Very bad customer service. More explanations were needed as to the cause of the delay."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Being scammed by the Chinese, China Southern"
Pros: "Boarding was easy and fast"
Cons: "Seats were cramped"
Pros: "We were delayed a bit out of Shanghai but still arrived in Los Angeles on-time (very slightly early) which was nice. well done."
Cons: "The boarding process was confusing, with staff members holding signs creating arbitrary waiting areas for each of the boarding zones. If this is the boarding process, maybe something more structured can be implemented, otherwise people just end up everywhere. The seat back entertainment on this 777-200 suffered from the most capricious touch-screens ever. I would frequently tap a control on the screen only to have a control at the far corner of the screen be "pressed" instead. Annoying."
Pros: "I like the fact that I was able to get on this"
Cons: "Delta is completely messed up. My luggage was supposed to travel with me to Boston. But it didn't. Delta waisted my time. Horrible customer su"
Pros: "Everything on Delta's part was very well done, and all of their employees were great. Arrived a little early, and very nice entertainment system over their wifi"
Cons: "Expensive ticket, ATL airport staff rude (not Delta employees)"
Pros: "Free drinks"
Cons: "Corn nuts for snack. I'm allergic to corn. I get people want snacks on a flight and you can't make everyone happy. It was ok. I just said no to them."
Pros: "The flights were on time and the entertainment system worked great."
Cons: "They overbooked (as usual) and bumped me from the Atlanta to Los Angeles leg of my journey. This put me 24 hours behind and cost me hotel money."
Cons: "Service"
Pros: "The plane ROCKED"
Cons: "The crew on this flight were very "eh", no smiles or anything, just handing coffee and snacks out to burdensome passengers"
Cons: "Not enough sitting space felt very cramped"
Pros: "Our flight from ATL to PVD Was canceled after a 3 hour delay and we were left to make our own reservations to PVD.The time was approximately 12 noon (we had been st ATL now for over 4 hours) and without help from Delta we went gate to gate .We happened on a flight to BOS depg 1:50PM (actual dep 3:30PM. We got no help on where our luggage (2 suitcases)was but told it would follow. Landed BOS approx 5:45PM,no luggage! Trained to PVD hoped bags were on a 10:30PM Delta flight. They were but bags were wet and so were some dresses and ladies slacks. Advised luggage person but she was so busy with others looking for their lost bags.Deltahad no control over Wx, but we deserved better service and assistance to make things no so exasperating."
