Much better seats on Airbus 321. Food prices are very reasonable.
My flight BKK–SHJ–TBS was changed, and I was notified only by an email that went into my spam folder. I found out only 1 day before the flight when I checked in online. The new flight had a 15-hour layover in SHJ and arrived in TBS 1 day later than my original plan. I needed to adjust my plan urgently and lost the cost of one hotel night because the free cancellation period was over.

The flight was slightly delayed because of change of plane but informed beforehand. Flight was very good and comfortable

We were boarded by bus. That was a bit of pain.

Whatever was good was diminished by the late delay from Nairobi which caused the missing of our flight to Seattle then we were connected to another flight to Miami which also caused the missing of flight to Seattle again delaying us for several hours in Miami
My laptop in checked suitcase disappeared. The check in lady asked about it and found this very curious. She made me sign something when I insisted it remains in my checked suitcase. Robbery without violence.
Service and food were good. I'm 6'3" and my knees hit the chair in front of me. The 3 hour flight was manageable but the 15 hour flight was torture. There is no comfortable position to sleep and I'm grateful the person in front of me did not lean their seat back.
Boarding is delayed! We are inside the plane without AC for a long time. No TV monitor.
Very lovely aircraft and crew. Seats were comfortable and the food was great and served swiftly. Delayed flight due to a passenger coming off the flight but overall a great experience
Qatar Airways has consistently set a standard in my mind that very few airlines manage to sustain, and once again, this journey in Economy Class lived up to that expectation. As an avid globetrotter who travels extensively for work, I experience many airlines, service cultures, and levels of hospitality. Yet there is something reassuringly consistent about Qatar Airways. It is not simply the onboard service, but the entire experience: the professionalism, courtesy, warmth, attentiveness, and genuine sense of hospitality. The cabin crew are exceptionally well trained, composed, aligned, and polished in their delivery, yet their interactions rarely feel mechanical. They remain remarkably courteous while retaining a genuine human warmth and an apparent eagerness to assist. On almost every Qatar journey, there are individual crew members who somehow manage to stand out and make the experience even more memorable. What I value most is the consistency. Qatar Airways has established a certain benchmark of expectation for me and, over many journeys, has never underdelivered against it. There is a sense of confidence and ease that comes with boarding a Qatar flight because I know the overall experience will be thoughtfully delivered. For someone who spends a considerable amount of time travelling, that peace of mind matters enormously. Qatar Airways remains one of the airlines I genuinely enjoy flying, not because of any single aspect of the service, but because of the complete package and the remarkable consistency with which it is delivered. The only disappointment on this occasion was that my luggage did not arrive with me at my final destination in Kolkata (CCU), following my journey from Seattle (SEA) via Doha (DOH). Unfortunately, the baggage was delayed in Doha. A baggage exception report is already on file with the local airport team in CCU. Given the confidence Qatar Airways has built with me over the years, I remain optimistic that they will once again live up to that expectation, work their magic, and reunite me with my luggage within the next 24 hours. Looking forward to a swift resolution and, notwithstanding this final hiccup, another thoroughly enjoyable Qatar Airways journey.

Movie options were quite limited in terms of the new releases The boarding in Goa was was too cumbersome with multiple security checks and passport checks. Seems like we are trying to create redundant processes with no valuable gains. A lot of waste in the system and it’s really frustrating for us customers.
Overall the crew were friendlier than similar premium airlines like Cathay or Singapore. Seat was good. Food was excellent.. the starlink wifi was a real plus. The entertainment was just ok.
Sri Lankan airline had less entertainment choices and Sri Lankan national carrier did not have language choices
Very poor. The flight was delayed for over an hour. Also, our baggage, including that of many passengers, approimately 180 bags did not arrive, and we are yet to receive it.
Poor, They have damaged my luggage and I have filed a claim at Colombo airport. They promised I will be in touch by the team within next 2 days but there is no One contacted me at all after 1 week. I then follow up again and received an email acknowledging my claim and claimed that they will reply in 12 days on investigation. Again, no response at all after that… Very disappointing…

Was good, comparatively. A330, with good crew set.on time depature. And crew try there best, to make thing efficient.
Spesific ,Crew and cabin manager, look after all pax on board despite being in a old A320 equipment.Got free seat upgrade as well,but old style seats, no much comfert on it.But food and the spesific crew, was amazing.maintain airlanka standerd.the cabin manager, who was so much keen,keen operate as per SOP.
The staff was absolutely phenomenal but the other elements of Sri Lankan Airlines need some serious adjustments. The day started off with terrible news that the flight was cancelled from Male and that the plane went to Malta. As an American, when such delays occur, the airlines find suitable ways to accommodate their customers such as putting them in an Airport hotel or lounge while waiting for the next flight. A 1.5 hour trip turned into 12 hours with no accommodations from the Airlines except a ticket to eat breakfast. For such a Billion dollar industry, a cheap breakfast is an insult toward the customer and something greater should have been done.
Many changes need to be addressed from airport check in to flight departure. If they observe other major airlines, then they can expect what Sri Lankan airlines need to update their procedures.
Smooth takeoff and landing. Best service experience in all our travels over the years. Caring and attentive crew. Loved our flight to and fro.
not looking like a national flag carrier.. both the ground team and flight team are far from being kind and helpful. Not sure what's wrong.
