Cons: "Our flight was cancelled on Sunday and they couldn’t get us out until the following Saturday. So we had to cancel our reservation and get refunded... except American says talk to royal jordanian, royal jordanian says talk to air booking. Air booking isn’t reimbursing us and want US to pay $400."

So we sa on the Tarmac for 90 minutes. I have a difficult time believing this situation was a surprise. Possibly it was just to free up the gate and not have to go through reboarding. Also leg room is getting reduced to 28 inches. I'm 5"11 and cramped. How is JetBlue better than American? How much will these airlines continue to bend us over. I didn't even take the screaming infant into account.... since it's not AA's fault for letting that baby on board."

Cons: "Bought this ticket as gift for my grandson. His departing flight was 4 hours late! Therefore the people picking him up in L.A. Had to pick him up after midnight instead of 8pm. Airline wouldn't try to get him a seat on another airline to help the situation. Thought I was booking this on Alaskan airline but turns out they used American. Will never use this sight again. Going to book directly with actual airline next time"

Air hostess were not very friendly or helpful."

Cons: "Apparently my seat change did not go through because I was still stuck in the last row near the bathrooms. I must say, the fecal aroma really complemented the on set nausea that was triggered by the turbulence. Every time I thought I was gona drift off to sleep I was rudely awakened by the constant "thwacking" of the bathroom doors. The family next to me was nice enough but they did have a toddler who was very loud and unhappy and the tantrums followed. I have been a server for 14 years and generally can brush annoyances off like this but this was by far the worst flight I have been on."

Was told on check-in that flight did not include checked luggage which is bizzare/unreal for an international flight especially since I also paid to upgrade my ticket. Even in explaining to me the person on the phone was rude. This was very disappointing as I had such an amazing trip to end on this sour note. (2) The boarding process took forever. They made us line up about 45 minutes before we actually boarded. So we were all standing around as opposed to being seated in waiting area. We did not board until after our take-off time. (3) Seats were really tight, uncomfortable and don't recline much."

We checked two bags when we went to the desk to get our boarding passes.....then when we were boarding the plane, I went through without a problem but my wife was flagged. we were informed that we now had to pay for our checked bags..both of us even though I had already been cleared. 70 dollars was needed...and so with our flight ready to leave we had to just about run 250 meters and then back 250 meters to catch our flight....we are in our 60's!!!!!. If we had to pay we should have been told at check in! and to make matters worse both of our checked bags are carryon size...we only checked them because we thought it would be convenient. Given that it was not our mistake that bag fee should have been waived....very poor customer service to people who have flown TAP many times........"

Constant updates over the loud speaker by the pilot and stewardess got annoying; felt like every 20-30 minutes and saying the same thing, and saying it in 3 different laugages."

While he did eventually reboot, it made no difference. The monitors did not work the entire flight."

Cons: "To start, the flight never happened. The flight was cancel one WHOLE hour after it was supposed to take-off. Then we get told that they were going to bus us to a larger airport that was THREE hours away. We where told that when we arrive at this airport that there would be hotel accommodations for us and that the agents there will make arrangements for thise with a connecting flight. It was all lies. We arrive at the airport after riding a 2-star bus for three hours inly to be told that they had no idea what we were talking about and that no one told them we where coming. Then we were told that there were no hotel rooms available in the whole city (lie) and that all of the available cars to take us to an available hotel where in another city (another lie). On top of that, if you missed a connecting flight on a different airline, you where screwed. I had to buy a whole new ticket just to get home. It was insane!!! So basically a plane full of people were jerked around and lied to by every employee of this airport that we met. Completely disgusting. If you can avoid it, never ever fly Royal Air Maroc."

Cons: "The bread! you have wonderful croissants and other bread in Morocco, how can you serve such horrible bread? with bad quality slice of cheese. After several flights in one day, I had yogurt 3 times - good thing I like yogurt because it gets to be alot. Not much variety in food, I found the same offerings last year when I took this same route."

Cons: "I’m not sure how much the airlines can control this, but boarding in Morocco was an absolute nightmare both coming and going. There are gates but the boarding flights are not really posted clearly and not announced. Even standing right next to the final checkpoint, you are likely to miss the boarding call. Fortunately it is such a cluster that you have enough time to eventually figure it out and not get left behind. Also, many connecting passengers had to check in and get boarding passes in Casablanca and whoever was in charge of seat assignments simply could not have cared less. I was traveling solo, but witnessed at least 4 separate instances of families not getting seated together or even in close proximity - even couples!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many disgruntled passengers before a flight departs when a flight hasn’t been delayed or cancelled. Note to fellow passengers: If you’re traveling with others, check your tix/passes and ensure you’re sitting together before you walk away from the counter. And ask for clarification there if you’re not sure. If you make it to the plane with those passes, the plane crew will tell you that you accepted them so those are your seats - they will not work with you."

The trash had been picked up, but there was spilled food all over, like no one ever wipes things down in the procès of cleaning. No soap in the bathroom either. The Dakar airport isnt ready to open yet. Jet bridges aren’t working, they couldn’t find a stair to fit the plane for a while. Luggage is piled all over the terminal. Half the luggage from the plane arrived promptly, the other half took 45 minutes."

Cons: "The rest of the food was mediocre. The staff was indifferent and not up to professional standards. A small example was unlike other airline staff they didn’t even bother to pick up rubbish in the aisle or maintain toilet cleanliness which takes so little effort. Again, indifference. Also, surprisingly, there was a spat between one woman flight attendant and a male passenger. They discussed the matter at length behind the first class curtains but it was obvious to many passengers that something was wrong."

Cons: "They put us in a tiny transit terminal in Casablanaca without food. The flight was delayed 3 hours (until 1am) so I was sitting in this tiny terminal for 5 hours without food. Then they didn't deliver my bag (or half the plane bags) once in Marrakech. Not only this, but they don't deliver next day so I had to return to the airport to get the bag myself. Will never fly this airline again."

Cons: "The crew, ground staff at the airport and the managerial staff are the rudest i have ever seen. They are not apologetic for delays ,flight postponements and any inconviniences they cause to passengers. I literally had a screaming fit to get some service."

Pros: "It was an average flight experience. No complaints but no praises either."
Cons: "I booked through kayak/vayama and was never given the opportunity to choose my seat or let the airline know that I needed a vegetarian meal. I emailed the airline and got no response."

Cons: "One hour delay at the gate before departure. Packed flight, cramped seating."

Cons: "This flight never showed up. It wasn't posted as delayed, or cancelled, just never showed up. It delayed our traveling by a day. They put us on a bus to Casablanca."

Cons: "No organized boarding, they allowed passengers to just push their way through without any line. It was a really old, small plane, didn't have any entertainment whatsoever; the food was ok but handling was quiet unhygienic. The bread was not individually wrapped nor was there a thong to pick up bread with so they allowed passengers to put their hands in the basket to get bread and you could see passengers touching more than one bread then selecting one. Most of the crew had the most sour expression on their faces. Clearly didn't want to be of service to anyone. I had a very very bad experience with RAM several years back flying from Dakar to Casablanca and was horrified how rude the crew was to passengers. I was hoping things had improved, sadly not. There is a huge difference in how they treat passengers on flights in Africa and those to the US. Very disappointed. But at least the plane landed safe."

Pros: "Should have followed the poor reviews. They took my carry on luggage and lost it. Got the runaround treatment when I call with wait times of 2 hrs. Then eventually when you get someone, they tell you it's your responsibility to go to the various airports and check for your luggage. My 1 month vacation was ruined as a result bc I lost some priceless items and my IT lab workbook which I needed crucially for some work. On my way back thru Morocco, I was told at the airport to go to their main office in down town casablanca. Then here in the US, getting told different things only to end uo with a 1800 number that no one picks up. Horrid customer service!"
