Cons: "This plane has not been updated since before I was born. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and there was no in seat entertainment, just overhead screens. I was never able to get the WiFi to work. There were no power outlets, and we were never offered headphones, eye masks or ear plugs. I expected more from American since our 2hr flight from Orlando to JFK had working WiFi, power outlets and in-seat video monitors."

Pros: "My flight was fine - I paid for a Premium Seat, which also allowed me a premium boarding position, which I highly recommend for anyone flying. The seat was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and I really liked the in-flight entertainment."
Cons: "At the DFW security post for my gate, there was NO TSA-pre. That service stops at 7pm. I would think at a major airport like DFW where American Airlines has a hub, they would make sure to staff that longer. Just getting to keep my shoes on, while having to drag all my electronics and liquids out, take my coat and belt off, etc. is not acceptable. AA should put the pressure on DFW to treat their customers better!"

Cons: "Again boarding was just a mush of people. American keeps revising the boarding process but does little to make it actually efficient and orderly. The grouping should have made things better but gate agents don’t consistently reinforce the policy so passengers are all lax."

Cons: "The connecting flight from Philadelphia to Manchester would've been missed. So, American Airlines booked the same flight for 24 hours later. Luckily, they offered a different flight. Due to the flight changes, the prepaid ground transportation from Manchester to Leeds wasn't used. Transportation from London to Leeds had to be purchased at a much greater additional expense."

I paid a full fare 1-way ticket to get out of PHX as they were not willing to allow me to fly standby or make a change to my existing ticket. Crappy airline service at the counter. Cons: "We had some Change of plans and we're going to just get off in Phoenix and not take it straight to San Diego, we called American they said no big deal they would ticket our bags to Phoenix, got to the airport and the American Airlines gal stated in no way shape or form could they do that, I tried explaining the whole situation and her response always ended in 'and your bags will be in San Diego'. By the grace of God we were able to cram two checked bags worth of stuff into our carry ons which I still do not know how we did that, and were fine. On the flight we had a decently nice lady and a horrible male. When passing out drinks he seemed almost irritated that we had asked for water and rudely gave it to us which was room temperature. He totally skipped the lady in the row with us and got irritated when she asked for a water as well."

Had we not been to the airport 2.5 hours early, we would have had a great shot at missing our flight because of this.As it was, we only had 15 extra minutes from when we got to the gate from when we boarded. Even this email you just sent to me said "rate your Qantas Flight", not rate your American Airlines flight coshared by Qantas. The other big gripe is that we sat on the tarmac for way longer than I would have expected. LAX Sucks."
