There were no employees checking baggage until 4:30am despite there being several 6am flights. There were people truly worried as I was that I would miss my flight. They should’ve had employees working earlier to accommodate to their schedules.

Two hours delay

Delayed departure due to short staffed security at Burlington Airport. Missed connection flight. Terrible customer service at Delta. 7 hour travel day turned into a 24 hour travel day.

We missed our connection in Atlanta, even though we arrived at the gate in time to see the gate agent shut the door while we were running and waving. We arrived at the gate 8 minutes before the flight departure time also. The flight attendant on the flight from Fayetteville just handed out water and cookies without asking what you wanted. She had coffee and snack mix but didn’t ask anyone, just handed them what they got. Overall I was very disappointed in the flight from Fayetteville, NC to Atlanta and with the gate agents at the Atlanta airport. I usually expect more from delta. They didn’t offer vouchers to make up for the missed connection or offer to pay for a hotel since the next flight out was the next morning."

I will fly Delta every chance I get, even if I have to pay more money."

The carry on luggage section was impossibly small so I had to gatecheck my bag and it took five minutes to get my bag back. Given the tight connection, this created additional anxiety."

WORST part was that the temperature in the seating area at the gate was horribly cold. Departing passengers at a neighboring gate were bound for Fargo and sat with their parkas on and with parka hoods up. We Houston-bound had packed our coats & boots and were shivering. Then when we finally boarded the crew announced that the plane's water system was broken and so we would have no hot coffee or hot tea or hot anything. No water, also and obviously, in the restroom sink. But sani-wipes were provided in the sink basin."

Sat on the plane for hours only to Have the pilot time out and walk off the plane. Back up pilot showed up and the flight was canceled. No other flights to get me to My destination for 3 days. My luggage was still sent to my destination even though the flight was cancelled. Very bad experience with American Airline and I will do everything I can to never fly American Airlines again

Someone left a bag under the seat in front of me. It was from the previous flight. There was a kindle and a cell phone in it. There was also an empty coffee cup under the seat across the isle from me. I find it hard to believe that they are cleaning between each flight but missed these items.

Ground stop at ORD delayed our flight out of Burlington. Arrived ORD with a few minutes to spare. Sure would’ve been nice to know that our connecting flight had been delayed. Would’ve saved some stressful running from gate to gate. Otherwise: all good.

I spent money on extra leg room and as I’m boarding the switch my seat to a regular seat. Horrible scam to get extra money from passengers. Never flying this crap airline again.

We were informed as we were boarding and had to scramble to remove the laptop from our carry-on and help up passengers behind us from boarding. A totally unnecessary stressful situation created by the gate agents for failing to share information. Once we got onboard we saw carry-ons larger then what we were forced to check-in. Evidently, enforcement of standards is at the gate agents' discretion."

On the return on the Airbus, the seats were a little more comfortable, but still need seatbelt extender."

When you check in they take your cell phone "in case " well no call no txt no nothing. It was a joke the level of service No apologies or anything just a group of any tired patrons getting the worst customer experience. We had upgraded for better seats but it turns out the seating wasn't better at all. The flight home in seats much further back were MUCH more comfortable. I'm thinking the airline shouldn't book the front seats by the panel as 'better' for the extra price as they were definitely not."

Additionally, the aircraft was not maintained: broken sinks in the bathroom / most of the video entertainment was broken in Premium Economy Class. I had to cross the Atlantic for 9 hours with no movies to distract me. I'm shocked that the business class crew still treat coach passengers with disrespect as if they are second class citizens."

An hour later they find out that they cancelled the flight and moved my departure time to 8:25am for that day. They say they emailed 3 times in May but I never got it (I'm a bit crazy about my email staying clean) so they say it might have went in to my spam folder due to they types of emails they send to customers. They only kept repeating that they notified me so there is nothing they could do. I ended up going to Air Canada to get a flight from PHX to RNO the next day. No apology, no help, no hotel for the night...Terrible experience by United. They gave me a customer relations group contact information to follow up with for complaint but since they sent me the 3 emails in May about the change, they have no liability to fix the situation."

Ended up forcing those unlucky souls in the last boarding group off flight with no offer of credit or accommodation. Waited in customer service line for hours, literally longer than it would have taken to take off and arrive at my scheduled destination. United representatives could not find a flight that guaranteed a seat (not on a long standby list) that was even in the same 12 hour period. I spoke with a United supervisor who showed zero empathy or concern with the situation. In the end I arranged for other travel accommodations to drive to my family reunion destination. No refund was issued or offered. I was informed I would have to call United customer service after the date of my previously scheduled return flight to explain my situation. I will personally never fly United again and would recommend the same to anyone. Although for the record, I did receive a single ten dollar airport food voucher for my inconvenience. Inexcusable."

Cons: "The whole arrangement going through Air Canada but flying United. I never got confirmation numbers from United at all. I had to call Air Canada to get confirmation codes for United. Getting confirmation codes from Air Canada had no real significance with United. United would not confirm seating. When United finally confirmed seating, the seats were not together. Then United changed the flight three times and never gave updated confirmation codes. The last change came the day before our departure. Then United charged another $138.00 for seats that were assigned and never informed us. I am still trying to get the $138.00 back."

They knew the connecting flight had been delayed; they should have waited five minutes to let us on. The result was a nine-hour wait in Newark Airport for the next United flight."

Our flight was cancelled Friday morning 4 hrs before our flight with no alternate way to get to Las Vegas for our show in time to see it. I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH FRONTIER AGAIN

They relieved their customers suffering then with complimentary water! Now that’s service. Frontier is one of the most base airlines out there. I’m entirely frustrated that they are one of the only airlines that service our podunk airport."

Pros: "Both flights felt like there wasn't a sense of urgency. Although my flights went smoothly personally, others fell victim to the extra fees for not checking in a bag ahead of time. The customer service when checking into the flight to Detroit was appalling, however. The reps made us check in at a certain time and then disappeared when that time came, leaving a brand new employee to himself and I'm assuming a manager with his arms crossed. Not engaging his line, letting them know he'd be right with them. Customers frustrated began cutting the line and it's understandable, getting charged up to three times as one put it for the same bag. All that aside, I liked that I could pick my seat and naturally chose the front of the plane. The crew on way home was amazing! Very friendly and kind hearted."

Flight attendants were a little rude informing people "I said you can't form a line [for the bathroom], I didn't say you had to sit down!". The final boarding call was made TWENTY minutes before take off, forcing me to wait in a huge line to get to my seat (during which time I could have easily used the bathroom). The plane then still left 5 minutes late."

For both flights, Kayak was kind enough to send us regular updates on flight status beginning 2 DAYS AFTER THE FLIGHT!!! Everything was a colossal mess."

Pros: "I am an easy going person and thought my expectations for air travel were low enough but this flight proved me wrong. After paying for the flight, then paying for your bags, and then paying to choose a seat, an extra $120 later, you are finally on the plane. The new seats are paper thin, the trays are the size of a trashy paper back novel, the arm rests are hard chunks of plastic that barely allowed room for an elbow. Being six feet tall I often feel a bit more cramped than others, i expect this, but this was the worst I can remember. In addition to the seats being the thickness of a potato chip, they do not recline (I was told they are "pre-reclided") and the seat backs are short which left my head bobbing well above the back of the seat. Meanwhile, my knees are firmly smashed up against the seat in front of me, preventing me from slouching at all to allow my head a place to rest. Then there was my polite request for a cup of water, "we have bottled water for $2". All beverages are for purchase only. There will be no sleep or comfort on this 2 hour flight, enjoy and thanks for flying."

Pros: "It's cheap. Well, the baseline ticket at least. For this flight, I wasn't bringing any luggage (it was a short flight as part of a move, and all of my things were being carried via other means), so it made sense."
Cons: "The airline nickel and dimes you for everything. Carry-on or checked bags will cost you. A drink on the plane will cost you. We were delayed about 20 minutes getting on the plane and then sat on the runway for over an hour before we left. The last 20 minutes of that was due to wind reducing available runways for all departures and arrivals, but the first runway delay was caused by not one but two maintenance issues. Frontier actually just finished replacing their old planes with newer plans that have more uncomfortable seats with tiny trays and no on-board entertainment. For a short flight, it's not horrific, but for a cross-country journey, it's highly uncomfortable. The crew are just "there." Gone are the days of a warm cookie when you sit down. I've never had happy or friendly attendants, either. They do their job at the minimum. Slow to respond to guest issues and I've seen them be a bit rude with customers as well. I've had issues in the past with Frontier and lost luggage and lacking customer service. I only went with them this time because I wasn't bringing kids or luggage and just needed a cheap one-way. Otherwise I would never fly them."
