Pros: This new hotel is a gem. If there was an option for 6 stars I would have rated it a 6. The room was very large and comfortable, the common spaces in each floor we're inviting and unique. The staff was helpful and friendly. The attention to detail (cookies at turndown a vintage radio with Bluetooth, stocked refrigerator, and a spacious and well appointed bathroom) all made for a perfect stay.
Cons: The location was not great. North Street is under construction and Pittsfield a little far afield from Tanglewood etc but honestly worth the drive for the comfort of the hotel.
Pros: Maybe the best non-resort hotel we've ever stayed in. The hotel was beautiful and furnished to perfection. Great staff.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there for a ski weekend, but it was far too cold the second day. The person at the front desk asked us what we were looking to do and made a list of things for us to do along our ride home.
We loved the rooms. Bathrooms were great. We are now looking for an excuse to go back to Pittsfield so we can stay there again.
Cons: Nothing. Perfect Hotel.
Pros: Great place!
We enjoyed it all.

Pros: Pool was comfortable temperature, warmer than other hotels. Location was perfect, close to Shakespeare & Co., Shaker Village and Berkshire attractions.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. We ate at the hotel and the food was pretty good.
Pros: The staff were phenomenal! They were helpful and courteous and provided great customer service.

Pros: This is an older, quaint, simple, family run motel. It's in a great location just outside town and is very friendly and comfortable. It's a great value as well. I recommend it highly. Oh, it has excellent wifi which can be spotty in this area!
Maple Terrace Motel is a great choice for a stay in Williamstown. Guests can hang out at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and 10 AM.
Pros: Location--easy to find and close to our venue
Cons: Room was the smallest ever encountered in years of travel--maybe large enough for 1 person. Microwave location made it impossible to hang clothing. Took a long time to adjust water pressure and temperature in shower. Lying in bed it was obvious someone had begun painting the ceiling and not finished the job. Really!? And why would someone hang two copies of the same framed print in a room?
Willows Motel Williamstown is a great choice for a stay in Williamstown. Guests can enjoy the seasonal outdoor pool or take advantage of nearby downhill skiing. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with DVD players and free WiFi.
Pros: I like that the pool was open even tho it was january. Loved the room set up. Lover the staff, very friendly and helpful. Did not like how there is nothing around there. I'm use to seeing alot around me. And there was not much to do around there if you are not into art. The contemporary art museum was right in front of the hotel, but other than that, there is not much to do. The drive from new York was very nice.
Cons: Middle of nowhere.

Berkshire Valley Inn is a great choice for a stay in Williamstown. Guests can enjoy the seasonal outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing are nearby. Rooms offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: Clean. Comfortable, beautiful scenery and quiet
Pros: Being from the Berkshires we chose to do a trip for a night while on vacation. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. Very clean, cozy apartment feel. Pool is great area.
Cons: With it being off the path (5 miles) I think it be great to put in a snack bar as well as a lounge (dinner/ bar) it would be a gold mine for families not wanting to cook or drive. The first day staff was amazing! Second day the desk people could have had a refresher on positive and client experience.
Pros: Clean facilities and friendly staff. Second time visiting - the kitchenette is very helpful. Nice to have balcony and gas fireplace. Comfortable bed. Overall a great place to stay.
Cons: Unit was clean nd comfortable but starting to show its age. Wall paper was peelling, stains on ceiling when water leaked
Pros: The rooms were really great. There was a full kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, bedroom and patio. It was amazing to have a kitchen with a full set of dining ware, a toaster, microwave, stove burner, blender and coffee pot. The place felt very family friendly. It definitely felt like a ski lodge where families would stay for about a week at a time. All of the decor in the rooms were fall foliage which felt weird staying there in the summer. They have a large selection of dvds at the front desk that you can rent for free and have an indoor and outdoor swimming pool.
Cons: The door to patio to our room was broken. The dvd player wouldn't work and it took forever for us to get it to reopen and spit out the dvd we placed in. They ask you to take all the linens off of the bed and place in the bath tub before checking out, which didn't make sense to us because we took a shower right before we left. It's in the middle of nowhere which is definitely apart of its appeal but there are no gas stations or grocery stores for at least a 15 minute drive.
Cons: The mattress was worn and noisy in 107b building 1
Pros: Great for families. Love that all rooms include a kitchen. The suite feature (two rooms sort of adjoin) is really convenient as we're always there with multiple families.
Cons: Checking in is always painfully slow for some reason.
Cons: Shuttle to the ski mountain would be great idea

Pros: We were greeted very warmly and allowed an early check-in. The location was excellent, just a few minutes from Williamstown. A very cute old school motel with mountain views with continental breakfast included.
Pros: Friendly staff, who did their best to assist with faulty A/C, which eventually worked well.
Location and grounds were very nice, especially the patio area next to a babbling brook. Proximity to a good restaurant was a plus.
Room seemed recently renovated-shower was great!
Cons: Air conditioner wasn't on correct setting and room was hot initially.
Pros: Good location for all the Berkshires attractions. Convenient restaurant and continental breakfast. Nice stream on the property. Will probably use again in the future.
Cons: The shower was a bit mildewey and didn't drain completely.

Pros: I only gave 4 stars for location (through no fault of their own) because it's in the middle of nowhere. But fortunately the middle of nowhere is well worth the drive in this case.
Pros: The staff were so helpful. The motel room was clean, bed unbelievably comfortable...Owner deserves great success. The motel is getting a makeover and Jim is doing an AMAZING job. He is genuinely interested in making your stay memorable. The views are inspirational....A little bit of Heaven. An added bonus is its majestic sunrises....You know how the saying goes, "It's great to be home?" It's not!!! Wish we were still there...Can't wait to go back again and again.....

A bar/lounge and a fitness center are other highlights, and condos offer conveniences like kitchens and sofa beds. Ski rentals and lessons are also available.
Pros: Cleanliness, outdoor ambiance, quiet. Had everything you need in a small space.
Cons: Toilet seat loose.
Pros: I appreciated the friendly greeting from the evening host. He and his wife had attended the same excellent play at the Williamstown Theater Festival as I and remembered seeing me.
Cons: I did not like the sheets or the coffee, that had been standing for too long.
When visiting Williamstown, Williamstown Motel is a great choice to consider. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and 10 AM. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: wonderful personalized service; new owners are making nice renos; relaxed, close proximity to Williams College, Clark Museum; only 1/2 hour from Rockwell Museum; quiet; vintage decor. Will definitely stay again.
Cons: Needs bigger and more towels.
When visiting Williamstown, Berkshire Hills Country Inn is a great choice to consider. Free perks include continental breakfast and WiFi. Rooms offer deep soaking tubs and LED TVs.
Pros: Nice place, great little town. MassMOCA museum is world-class. People are wonderful in hotel and restaurant breakfast is always excellent. Servers really nice.
Cons: It's NBD, but plastic cups for drinking in room.
Pros: No frills here, but it was exactly the clean, comfortable, updated room I was hoping for. No surprises and close to Mass MOCA and a great restaurant.
Pros: location - great restaurant choices within a block. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Good range of very soft, to some-what soft pillows.
Cons: I would have like to have been able to open the windows for fresh air.
Pros: The location to attractions was excellent.
Cons: Lighting in the bathroom was awful. It was also nearly impossible to turn on other lamps in the room-the pushbutton switch on all others was nearly impossible to press. There was no a/c in the fitness room, and since the weather was so hot, I was unable to use it-very disappointing. When I questioned the person on at the front desk, she said it was "up to code" and "the hot air is pulled up to the ceiling by the box fan on the floor" She did not really even apologize for this situation- I would not choose to stay at this property again.
Pros: Clean, comfortable, great staff!
Pros: Staff earnest and friendly
Cons: Fitness room had limited equipment

Cons: Breakfast is included and had a decent selection. A touch above a pure continental breakfast.
Pros: The staff was amazingly accommodating! But when you book, make sure to request the NEW SIDE OF THE BUILDING. The old side is... Old.
Cons: My fiancé and I wet first assigned to a room in the old side or the building. It just felt a little sad and tired. I called the front desk and the lovely clerk IMMEDIATELY switched our room to a new one which was great. Luckily we were there for a couple days that weren't too busy but if they can help you, they will. Seriously nice staff.
