Pros: The staff was very attentive and courteous. The food was great and the place is well kept.

Cons: A little damp but understandable given time of year
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: It wasnt enough space for parking.
Pros: The room was cozy and the hotel is in a really good location near to Ataco's park
Cons: I wish I had a bubble of shampoo, will be really nice if you add one with the bathroom soap. The time I had to wait to take my breakfast, should cooking more food and using a heat lamp to maintain the food temperature this will decrease the time to serve the plates, the food was good :)
Cons: sheet and pillows were damp, not comfortable or warm enough for the cold weather (we asked for extra linen and they barely had enough)

Cons: Another small trash bin in the room, or a larger one in the bathroom would be better.

Pros: Very nice property with small but nice rooms. cute little porch with table outdoors. Pretty garden. It’s at the end of the road right by the church and easily accessible. Free parking included if needed. Staff was nice and accommodating, offered additional blankets.
Cons: Not sure if advertised as included, but no hot water for showering. No one was available for checkout in the morning when we left around 8:30am. Had to return after our coffee tour to pay and return keys. Likely a one time thing but maybe pay the night before just in case.
Pros: Amazing little cabin! The staff and owners were super accommodating and offered assistance anytime we asked. Area felt safe and quiet, all while being only a half block from the Main Street in town. Would highly recommend a stay here!

Located in Apaneca, Jardin Hostal features a restaurant, shared lounge, garden, and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. At the hostel, every room is equipped with a balcony with a garden view.
Pros: On my way there, I had problems with my car and the radiator blew up....we rented a truck, got the car to a safe place and went to Apaneca. At that point we were running really late and called to let the owner know we were still coming. He said it would be no problem. When we got there we were tired and hungry. The owner opened his heart and kitchen and fed us. The whole staff was kind and helpful making this much needed time for relaxation wonderful. Thank you...thank you....thank you....you are awesome!
Cons: It would have been better if we could have stayed longer....more nights.....
Pros: It is always a pleasure to stay at the Jardin Hostel in Apaneca....the food is great, the beds are comfortable, the location is good, the staff is wonderful and the owner is awesome! he always goes above and beyond to make our stay remarkable. It is a magical place!
Cons: If we could have stayed longer!
Pros: It is not the first time here and I am sure it won't be the last. It feels like home here. The owner and staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The little extra details make me smile and keep me coming back.
Cons: I wish I could stay longer....
Pros: Once again, the owner and staff were fantastic. Always friendly, helpful and respectful! The rooms are nice. The beds are comfortable. The water is hot ...and the food is great! Wonderful place!
Cons: Once again, all I did not like was that I couldn't stay longer.
Pros: Owner very friendly and helpful, English was fairly good. Accommodation easy to find.
Cons: WiFi really bad, unusable a lot of the time. No water pressure sometimes, and the shower didn't drain very well. Room was also a bit bare -things like a bedside lamp or a bin would've been good to have
Pros: It is not the first time that we have stayed here....we keep coming back for many reasons....the location is great, the food is good, the bed is comfortable, the climate is awesome, the vibes are wonderful. Apaneca, especially the Jardin Hostal is very welcoming and non judgmental. On the Ruta de Flores, Apaneca seems to often be skipped and overlooked....I think it is the best.
Cons: More time....it is always that there is never enough time to relax, adventure and explore more....
With a stay at El Pueblito de Don Luis in Concepcion de Ataco, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Ataco Church and Fray Rafael Fernandez Park. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The gardens were beautiful. Staff was friendly.
Cons: One of the bed's sheets was dirty. A big turnoff but we only stayed one night. Oh, we were in the farther room so the wi-fi didn't work well.
Pros: Location, staff, personalized attention, gorgeous gardens, delicious breakfast and most of all, the best hostess ever
Cons: Everything was excellent!
Pros: Breakfast and the gardens
Cons: Nothing everything is good
Pros: Such a beautiful place to stay here in Ataco. The garden is amazing and the service is wonderful. The playground is perfect for kids.
Pros: This is a family-run property developed just in the last five years. Its main feature is a gigantic, many-acre garden with gazebo and chapel. It is well-planted not only with flowers and bushes, but planted in such a way that the plants near the rooms are six to eight feet or more tall, guaranteeing privacy. The location is four long blocks from the church and central park, so there is no town noise. The entire property is enclosed within a high wall, and there is no way in or out except through a locked gate. One man's job is to be nearby, to let guests in or out at any time of the day or night. He helped get me going at 3:15 a.m. and the staff had a driver sleeping there overnight so that I would make it to the San Salvador airport, 2-1/2 hours away, on time for an 8:30 a.m. flight. . . There is a large, graveled parking area within the wall, so if you have your own car you will be able to park it off-street. The rooms are huge and front onto a broad porch with comfortable rocking chairs. A choice of 5 breakfasts is included in the $85/night price. I also had one dinner-sized lunch there, and I thought the kitchen produced remarkably tasty food. . . Wi-fi is very strong and reliable in the reception area. My first day there it worked for email and Facebook in the room, but not for Skype or streaming video. The first night we had a spectacular storm, and lightning knocked out power for an hour. Next day, they called someone to get wi-fi restored to reception, but by the time I left (this was over a weekend), it hadn't been restored to the rooms. . . A/c is very efficient, with a turbo setting. Because it wasn't quite warm enough for a/c most of the time, I asked about a fan, and they brought a four-foot standing fan for me. But the porch just outside the door was also much cooler than the room interior.
Cons: I think the lighting in the room should be improved a lot. There is just a dim light in the center of the ceiling and a small bedside light. It it's too late to install more built-in lighting, I'd suggest adding a floor lamp or two and a comfortable easy chair. . . I don't know whether it's fair to suggest it, given whatever the costs are of doing business in Ataco, but I think a price of $65 or $70 would be more reasonable.
Pros: What I liked the most was the hospitality from the staff and owner, also the breakfast was good and the room was super clean and comfortable. Me and my family had a pleasure stay in the Hotel
Pros: It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. And to make it even more fantastic was Teresa, the owner, who went out of her way to make our stay extra special. She is a very caring and wonderful person.
Pros: When a place makes you cry happy tears you know it’s a 10/10. Beautiful property and gardens and Theresa is the most kind, generous and genuine host . I was shown a more “flashy” property close by but this hotel is a special gem.
With a stay at Hostal Vivero Las Flores in Apaneca, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Fray Rafael Fernandez Park and Juayua Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good locations
Cons: the cost was higher than offer when i did the reservation, they said that don't use booking for reservations.
Set in Concepción de Ataco, Hostal Juárez Ataco has a garden. The guest house also offers free WiFi and free private parking. All guest rooms in the guest house are fitted with a coffee machine. At Hostal Juárez Ataco the rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and a patio with a garden view. The accommodation can conveniently provide information at the reception to help guests to get around the area.
Pros: Easy to find and to walk to from where bus lets you off. There are actual signs on the electricity poles so look up as you walk. Staff helpful & friendly. Decent size room, clean, comfy beds. Amazing hot shower and because of cooler climate this was so appreciated. Quiet area of the town so no issues with barking dogs. Very safe. They can have meals ordered for you to eat in or on little patio in front of your room, but it is local fare so we were not interested. Lots of options both typical El Sal food & more 'western' food options all easily walkable. And of course coffee lthough never strong enough, always ask for double espresso shots. This won't be the cheapest option for some but it is worth the comfort, peace & quiet.
Pros: The hostel is 10 minutes’ walk from the main plaza. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners are very nice. Highly recommeded!
Pros: It was a great little place. The bed was very comfortable and it was wonderfully quiet. The staff was good and helpful. It was secure with private parking. It was a short walk to the center area. Very nice.
Cons: I never did find the hot water, but it wasn't of great importance.
Cons: The place is well distributed, the rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable, I have to thank the personnel they were very kind and always willing to help and treat you with the utmost respect, how they tried to go out of their way to assist us and provide us with the best service possible is what really made me want to visit this small but really clean, neat and nice hostel in Nueva Concepcion ATACO, another good feature is that since is not near the main plaza or the market, there are no loud noises that will impair you from having a restful night, that doesn't mean the hostel is outside of the town of ATACO it's still in the town just not that close to the entertainment area of the town. I had a very restful night, the room was cozy, the bathroom very clean, the personnel were very kind and serviceable all in all it was great for the price per night, I didn't try the food but the prices in the menu are very cheap. If you want to go stay at a comfortable place without overpriced staying costs and you are not looking for a full service kitchen, this is the best place to stay in ATACO.
