5.0 Okay

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful historic building, nicely restored
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The brunch in the ballroom was wonderful!!
Cons: The valet seemed annoyed anytime we needed my car (valet wasnt cheap and swlf parkingfor 15 was not offered). They wrote on my key tag the word dirty. We had spent five hours in the car getting to Spokane and when we arrived at the hotel we have no time to remove Starbucks cups and wrappers.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: What a beautiful hotel! We loved our stay. The history all around the hotel was fun to learn about.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice historic hotel .
Cons: Cold reception staff, she didn’t bother to explain the facilities of the hotel or restaurants . Not even where are the elevators are !!! Just handed the keys and you are done!!! Most of the staff are not friendly. The bed was very soft and not comfortable at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and it was historic
Cons: Every little thing cost. Not sure why they were taxing us 20% does seem right. Breakfast was not included in the stay. If you wanted breakfast expect to pay 20.00 a plate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent.
Cons: It is a little on the high end price wise.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was built in 1904. Beautiful original architecture lovingly restored and updated. Room was spacious, comfy , high quality beds and linens. Travertine marble bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed time on the outdoor terrace and salt water pool and hot tub.
Cons: We dined in the hotel for breakfast and dinner. Food was decent but not exceptional. Lovely table settings and atmosphere. Feel the hotel should improve food quality, especially considering the prices charged. Food at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas was far superior. Love the old world atmosphere of the Davenport but head chef needs to improve menu, presentation and quality for todays customer.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: We loved the historical pictures and stories that were told through out the hotel. It was like going back in time. Magical
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the room and had excellent room service, enjoying the cheese plate. The hotel was very elegant.
Cons: The price was high but that was expected.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beauty of the classic architecture, the luxury of the room and bathroom, the comfortable bed, the overall delight in being there.
Cons: My only quibble was that in the restaurant at dinner one of my guest’s entree of stuffed eggplant the eggplant was tough and undercooked. The other four in my party had delicious dishes and no complaints.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Historical significance & museum quality photos & displays inside. Location, location, location! Signature hot fudge sundae w/ homemade soft peanut brittle shell (be sure to share—it’s huge & very rich)!
Cons: Not enough time spent there!
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is great and the hotel itself was spectacular.
Cons: Downtown Spokane has a large homeless population that makes walking the streets alone uncomfortable.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was just off the interstate, easy to find, and even so it was quiet and peaceful. The parking was ample and quiet and well lit. My elderly mother (84) and I (61, kind of elderly) felt totally comfortable coming in after dark and staying in this clean and comfortable place. The breakfasts were the BEST I have ever found in any hotel offering breakfast, bar none. Our stay was great. We chose to travel at the peak of the tourist season and thus the price was very high. We knew this going in, so were not surprised. Overall, this was a great place to stay.
Cons: It was very expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and well appointed. Easy walk to the pool and the breakfast was well done and satisfying. Even if the hotel tacked on $10 per room for breakfast it would be worth it.
Cons: No.

7.9 Good
Pros: Very satisfactory breakfast and seating arrangements allowed conversing with other guests. Parking close to property. Safe area, good for walking after being out for dinner. Close to the big Museum/art gallery.
Cons: The air conditioning was appreciated BUT could not turn off the floor air blower when it was time for bed and its noise was very loud and continuous. I am a gardener and couldn't help noticing the large number of weeds in the borders. Picky perhaps but the rest of the property is so picturesque that this took away from its beauty.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location within easy walking distance to downtown and nearby restaurants. Nice gardens. Nice young couple acting as caretakers. Historic property with large rooms and interesting original leaded stained glass.
Cons: The breakfast was pretty basic, reheated banana or fruit bread with a fruit salad, packaged yoghurt and decaf Keurig coffee and granola. At this price point at other B&Bs in Washington state, we have been offered a cooked breakfast. The outside of the property could use some paint and TLC, particularly as it also serves as a wedding venue. Boxes of tissues for guest use in the rooms would be nice.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Our bed in the rose room could use a better mattress-it was very soft.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The uniqueness.
Cons: The parlor smelled musty
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The mansion is spectacular if you love the “antique” look and feel of a place. The furnishings were fantastic, breakfast was wonderful and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. Great neighborhood to walk around. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: It would be fun to have afternoon wine, cheese and crackers.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm!
Cons: Small bathroom facilities but that’s part of the charm!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place is gorgeous! The room and the bed are very comfortable, and the bathroom was wonderfully quaint. Even though a lot of the furniture and equipment are new, it's hard to tell, since they matched them to the old things so well. The neighbourhood is beautiful and quiet, and there was a pub and some other restaurants nearby. Downtown is also very close. For the price of staying it was great!
Cons: Check-in was rather informal, which wasn't really a problem, but we were expecting a bit more involvement. Some of the downstairs rooms were bare because it was being set up for a wedding the next day, so it felt less impressive that day. And the breakfast was very basic - again, not really a problem, as they didn't advertise otherwise, and it was quite good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds, comfortable bed, friendly staff, easy drive from the airport, and unique opportunity to sleep in such a lovely place.
Cons: No TV. But, it would be weird to have one in the bedrooms. It would likely disturb the tranquility of the place. Apparently there was one downstairs.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was charming! The bed was very nice. Overall clean and nice. Excellent staff assistance and introduction.
Cons: Windows had no screens and so they were left open to provide some needed air/breeze into our room. However, this also allowed hornets to get in which we needed to remove as you can imagine. This forced us to keep the windows closed thereby causing our room to be somewhat stuffy and warmer than we liked.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was clean convenient for us, and very quiet. The facility was very historic with quite a story. Maggie, our hostess was very good.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location Facilities Very comfortable
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and quiet, super comfy bed.
Cons: I didn’t think it was worth the $249 for the night.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, clean, pleasant staff
Cons: On the walk to our room we could smell heavy cigarette smoke near the housekeeping area. Unsure if there are smoking rooms on that floor or is break room but it was very noticeable and undesirable to pass through
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I asked if they could write a hand written note saying Happy Birthday for my boyfriend and put it in our room, and the front desk staff went above and beyond & got a card and typed out a beautiful happy birthday note and left a box of their signature peanut brittle as a gift. i was absolutely blown away. also, most comfy hotel bed i’ve ever slept on and i have slept on MANY high quality hotel beds traveling for work over the years.
Cons: our toilet was clogged before we arrived (we didn’t know, just thought the water level in it was low) so when we used it the first time, it overflowed. staff came and fixed it & cleaned up the mess but didn’t give an apology or an explanation even after telling them multiple times that it was clogged before we arrived.
7.9 Good
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Great location - walked to area attractions.
Cons: The first room we were put in was very small, no seating area (seating area was specified on our reservation) and the TV was on a wall to the left of the bed so the only way you could view it was by sitting on the edge of the bed. The hotel manager wanted to charge us an extra $10 per night for the better room since we booked the "standard room". The 1st room was so tiny, there's not even a picture of it on their website AND the picture of the "standard room" matched the one they tried to charge us more for. Also, the pillows are so flat that I had to put a rolled up blanket under them for any neck support.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a lovely boutique hotel. Quiet. We were on the fifth floor that is a small floor and felt very private. The location of the hotel is right in the center of town close to everything you could need. The staff is excellent. The beds and bed linens were fabulous. I did not want to get up. The hotel provided us with a shuttle to the First Interstate Bank Center for the Broadway show. There is valet parking for slightly mire than self parking. Totally worth it. There is a nice restaurant attached to the hotel with full bar. We had drinks and fried pickles one night and an excellent breakfast another day. You are right across the street from the Historical Davenport Hotel with three very good restaurants. We were in Spokane celebrating birthdays and the hotel put a lovely gift of their special peanut brittle in our room with a Happy Birthday wish. Very thoughtful and appreciated. We will be back.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Room size was great. Location was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was very quiet, and the bed extremely comfortable. As always, the hotel front desk staff was friendly and professional. Check in was quick and easy.
Cons: We were planning to have dinner at the Pub connected to the hotel, but our waiter was obnoxious and abrasive. Ordered one drink, which felt like a waste of money, as we couldn't wait to pay and leave. I realize we all have bad days, but this man was very unwelcoming from the moment he stepped up to our table. At least give your customer a chance. We are actually rather friendly people. We won't even consider visiting the pub again because of how he treated us. Too many other places to explore and spend our money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk and valet were exceptional. The room was comfortable and very clean. I love it and would most certainly stay again!!!
8.3 Excellent
Cons: I have always thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Lusso, however, it seemed a little "tired" "not at the top of its game" as in the past; a little disappointed.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Aircondition too noisy.

Cons: No covered parking.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The style of the hotel is awesome

Pros: Historic, charming, comfortable
Cons: —
9.2 Excellent
Pros: beautifully restored building and great location near the entertainment district. Staff were courteous and knowledgeable.
Cons: The noise insulation in the President's Suite was poor (could hear our neighbour clearly) and the air conditioning was noisy and clunky.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Can hear my neighbors but the charm of the hotel won the day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff went out of there way for anything we enquired about. From directions to site seeing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean & comfortable rooms, easy parking, liked the open central lobby on second floor, interesting artwork representing a variety of artists, simple but authentic historical feel.
Cons: Windows don’t open.
1.0 Poor
Pros: It was a beautiful historic hotel with lovely staff.
Cons: Being old, it was incredibly loud. I did not sleep very well with noisy neighbors and poor sound proofing. I found the parking and area of town unsafe. I really don't like leaving poor reviews, but, it was a most unpleasant experience.
7.5 Good
Pros: this hotel didn't offer breakfast. Your site says it does, but that is incorrect. They give you a coupon to a restaurant for $5.00 off your breakfast. I did talk to the staff and was told that they have tried to get YOU to remove feature because the DO NOT provide a breakfast.
Cons: The parking. It is in an alley in the back of the building, first come first serve and if you don't get a spot you have to park in a paid parking over flow lot. And they charge you $10.00 a night.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: When we realized that this property and location wasn’t going to work for us, I asked James if he as representative of the hotel would be gracious enough to cancel our reservation and refund us in full. His understanding of our predicament was much appreciated. He cancelled our res and wished us a pleasant stay in Spokane. Thank you Montvale, we’ll be back. Regards, Joanne Dal Pra
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The check in was great, the front desk assistant was very helpful.
Cons: Beds could be a little bigger and better
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really comfortable heritage hotel. A delightful place to stay.
Cons: The $5 voucher for breakfast at a restaurant nearby that is rather a poor restaurant. Would have been so happy to just have a muffin or cereal and get to eat it at the hotel which is much more pleasant than the restaurant.

Cons: No gift/sundry shop located in the hotel.

Pros: Nice location, beds were pretty comfortable.
Cons: Shower was not thoroughly cleaned . Hair was stuck on tiles on wall so it was obvious shower was not wiped down. House keeping showed up pretty quick to rectify.

7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful rooms, clean
Cons: Staff was not helpful. They charge you for everything a hotel usually includes for their guests
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is good. the room itself was a disappointment, we were traveling with a pet, but the comforter cover had some stains on it? Room service food was beyond terrible.
Cons: The room itself was a disappointment, we were traveling with a pet, but the comforter cover had some stains on it? Room service food was beyond terrible. Coffee downstairs in the morning was only okay....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were nice,l
Cons: A "resort fee", the parking, and for the price we should have at least got a discount on a meal...
6.7 Good
Pros: Bed was really soft. Nice room!
Cons: The room didnt look like the picture.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Across the street from the amazing historic Davenport Hotel. The tower hotel has an active lobby that attracts many people. It's lively there, with a busy bar, restaurant, and coffee counter in the morning. Well staffed front desk.
Cons: Probably built in the 80s, some things are showing age. But well maintained.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely stunning hotel and good location
Cons: I didn't appreciate all the little feels. $10 a day for wifi and coffee is a bit silly. Also, on site parking should be free with stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I didn't expect that caliber of hotel to be in Spokane Washington
Cons: Parking
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, good location
Cons: Our only problem was one of the valet asked my husband if he was a guest in the hotel (in the elevator). He said yes of course and had a key to our room. The guy made him uncomfortable like he was lying or something. He obviously didn't remember parking our car.

Pros: The room was great, pool and hot tub also great and every staff member was friendly
Cons: The early check in fee of $15 before 4 pm and i wish that they would have appetizers available on their evening reception night
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, very clean and comfy beds and majority of the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Cons: One lounge waitress was rude and just talking about how she can't wait for is to go home so she can go home. For the price of the hotel rooms the "free drink" at the bar is a joke and their selection of what you can have with that ticket is even worse!!
7.9 Good

Cons: Loud neighbors, but you can't control that!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is good, right off of freeway, next to mall.
Cons: Check in was terrible. Came into lobby at 4:00 pm, listed check in time. 3 other people were sitting there, waiting for a room. Returned in 30 minutes, now 5 people are waiting. If wanted a room on upper floors, wait would be another 30-60 minutes. Took room on the 2nd floor. Heavy walker was in the above us, pacing at times in the night.
6.7 Good
Pros: It’s location is wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfortable
Cons: The one cup weak coffee cup maker in the rooms are nothing to be desired. The nightlight on the hair dryer is obnoxious. 2 TVs in the room ? *smh* Not 1 but 2 tip jars in breakfast lounge. Oxford suites should take care of their employees.

Pros: Breakfast was good. Service was good. Location is a little unusual, but still very convenient to downtown and the airport.

Pros: The room was excellent. It was a boutique like room. Super large, with microwave and refrigerator. The beds very very comfortable and the location was great. The breakfast is really good, lots of choices: real eggs, bacon, bagels, fruit. Good Coffee and tea all day long!!.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The room even had a nice sofa and tray table. We were not sure what to expect, but were very pleasantly surprised. Our first stay at a LaQuinta, but will definitely not be the last
Cons: The only complaint was that there was alot of noise in the hallway what I considered to be later at night, also whoever was in the room above us were very noisy until late also. Finally things settled down about 11:00 that night, and the rest of our night was wonderful. This, of course, had nothing to do with the facility. If I had to state a complaint at all, it would be that I would prefer the sink area to be actually in the bathroom, and not right in the front door, entry area. Otherwise, absolutely nothing
9.6 Excellent

Cons: It would’ve been nice to have some fruit at breakfast. Sorry the hot tub wasn’t working.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness and staff helpful and friendly
Cons: Nothing ...all good
1.0 Poor
Pros: The staff, the hotel, and the breakfast staff were very nice. If we hadn't had someone steal from us and the manager blow us off the hotel would have been really nice.
Cons: My husband and my jackets were stolen by someone on the staff. Good chance it was the cleaner which was sad because we left a tip. We called 3 hours after leaving, no one went to look when called, and the manager said no jackets found and have a great day

Cons: No plug so we couldn’t get a bath
6.7 Good
Pros: Everything else was fine.
Cons: This facility was fine with one major exception, but an exception that would keep me from returning. Being as delicate as possible, the toilet in our room could not be used by a seated male without dousing himself. Uncomfortable and totally unsanitary.

Cons: Front desk staff "Nick" was rude, condescending and impatient.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy check in
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Every part of our stay was amazing...until the breakfast in the morning. The breakfast staff was very grumpy and gruff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was so comfortable. The pillows were amazing. The proximity to stores and all different types of restaurants is fantastic. It’s super clean, spacey, and designed well. The complimentary breakfast was a hit! So many choices to please every pallet. The pool is modest but it serves its purpose and it has a nice indoor hot tub to enjoy after a long day. Most importantly is the staff. They were simply the best. I had a major card issue at check in and the amount of time spent on the issue (was all on my side) was ridiculous - and they did not once turn me away (when rooms were selling out and they were busy) or act like I wasn’t a priority. I was embarrassed and exhausted and they comforted me and honestly made the experience one to remember. This place is a gem, if I am Ever going to western Washington again, I am staying here!!
Cons: That I couldn’t thank the front desk enough for their hospitality. Honestly everything was perfect, I have no dislikes to report, great job!!!
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location. Easy access to EWU, Spokane and airport
Cons: Overpriced.
7.9 Good
Pros: We liked the beds in the pillows and the compass of the room and the warm cookies!

2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Travel plans changes and they did not refund anything.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was very nice and comfy. The staff was very nice and breakfast was amazing.
Cons: Behind the beds could use a good vacuuming and the pool was freezing.

Cons: Both televisions did not work when I checked in.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location to the airport.
Cons: The room was very dated. No central ac and only one window unit to cool 4 rooms. Our suite had an office. I’m not sure why but we did not need an old printer/copier and office space. Rough night sleep on the hard mattress and did not have enough pillows. The tv kept on losing picture. It just needs to be updated and for $200 a night it was overpriced.

Pros: Love the space and home like feel.
Cons: The beds are very uncomfortable. We have had bad beds each stay. The mattresses are old and the beds are too small for 2 adults.

Pros: The location was good since we were going to a show at the Casino and it was all booked up. Front desk folks very nice and helpful.
