Someone tried to sell me sex toys in the lobby, room was dirty, wall paper peeling off wall...
Staff was amazing and considerate.
The room smelt like cat urine.
The price and the accommodations for that amount. The staff was somewhat friendly.
The smell of smoke drifting into my non-smoking room, I am quite allergic so there wasn't much sleeping possible. The walls are pretty thin, and people can be loud. The toilet in my room didn't flush properly so...
Welll stocked coffee maker in room, plus early breakfast available, making eatñy start convenient. Pleasant staff. Comfotrtable bedding.
Breakfast was great, staff was friendly, location is convenient.
Price was representative, heater worked, no issues with room, breakfast was decent. Worth it with an infant.
Breakfast was good.
Me and my family arrived to this hotel around 11pm and the gentleman in the front desk got us a room with out issues until we walked in. It was freezing and I tried turning on the heater and it was not working so I called the front desk and the gentleman who gave us the room came to the room to see why the heater wasn't working because he told me they don't have a maintenance personnel at night. After he saw the heater was not working he asked me if I wanted more blankets or do I need to switch rooms, I asked him to get us a room that was ready for my two kids and a new born and he got me another room but it was the same freezing and I called him again and there was not answer and I was tired of the trip so I when to sleep in this cold room heater was not working on the second room. At two in the morning I get a phone called it was a lady asking me what happened how come I moved rooms and that the last guy had made a couple of mistakes when switching us the room and he put us in a different room of the one we were in I was half of sleep and asked her can we please discuss this tomorrow morning and she told me I need to know so I can have this info ready for the manager tomorrow so I tried to explain why they moved us rooms and she seem not to care she was worry about what she had to tell her manager the next day even after I told her our heater still not working in the second room. In the morning I when to talk to them and I asked for a manager and I explained to her what happened and she said there was no way a lady called you at night we only have a gentleman working at night so she was trying to tell me that there was no way a lady called me at night even after I explain to her why did the heater not work in both rooms and how come they don't leave heater on if this rooms are waiting for people to check in and she said the room service supposed to leave this room ready and the heaters on.The rooms it wete freezing about maybe 35 degrees or probably colder. They sent someone to fixed it the next morning but they seem not understanding our issue, why would they called us late at night to talk about their problems not to try to fix our heater issues and wake us up, about someone's else mistakes and about the cold night me and my family had to go through and just the way they seem it was not like they cared but second night it was better after they fixed our room after I had to asked them to do it because this manager did not have any idea this happened and she told me she would get back with me after she found out who this lady was and she never did.i will never stay agin in this hotel.
Stayed during a drive from San Antonio TX to Salt Lake City UT. I made my reservation via kayak at 8pm, arrived at 11pm and was in bed by 1105. The room was fairly clean, more like unused vs freshly made up. Old single pane glass sliders meant the room was slightly drafty and provided little buffer to the freeway noise. No bed bugs or spiders or any other noteworthy issues. The continental breakfast was fantastic. Best one around. I didn't use the wifi, but was given a password upon checkin.
I liked the View we got in our room it was beautiful with its balcony.
I disliked the fact that the water in bath tub didnt go down all night and that the hallways were very noisy as well as the room above us. We didnt sleep hardly because the noise was almost all night people up and down halls.
No positives I can say except the price.
Arrived after long day of traveling, we were given a room with an unmade bed. The second room we were given, smelled of vomit. Figured it out that a previous occupant vomitted in the sink. I left and went somewhere else.
The staff was great. The lady at the front desk was nice and took care of me right away when I showed up.
I picked the first floor after I was given the option of which floor I would like to stay at. It was not remodeled and looked really shabby when I opened the door. My first thought was "I should have spent more to stay at the Double Tree". After I checked the bed and the room looked clean, I decided the set up was ok. The next morning after staying up late to work and meet a deadline I could not sleep in after 7 AM. I could hear every door in the hallway slamming open and closed. The cleaning staff was loud and a man knocked on my door twice to announce the room cleaning. I was put off by this. I specifically called and asked about the check out time the night before because I knew I was sleeping in. I gave up on sleeping after that and got in the shower. The tub was clogged and the water just sat there while I was showering. The shower curtain also had a moldy smell and I could see dark spots around it. I am sure the other rooms are fine and maybe I just got the worst room. For the price and location I was expecting a little more. I will try again but stay off the first floor.
The morning breakfast was goood!!~ bacon and eggs were great, and the bagels and the apple juice and the toast! The restrooms are niiiice. The rooms are soo nixlce and cold!! Great for me~
I think that there could have been a more variety of drinks but the tea was good! More drinks would be good. There could have been more food but i just love food c: so more food~
Nice beds Nice pool Very friendly staff
We stayed for a week and had a great experience. Friendly and attentive staff. Perfect location near UNM and the city but also quiet.
We had a reservation glitch but caught it before we left.
Very clean room with all the amenities. A lot better than going to a motel 6. They did have breakfast in the morning.
Bad part of town. Doesn't say Howard Johnson on building... It says Plaza Inn. I'd go there again, but I wouldn't take my children. Lower price draws a different crowd of people.
I loved that we were very comfortable. The view was marvelous. My wife and I recommend this hotel to our friends and anyone who is traveling to Albuquerque Nm. Thanks so much Howard Johnson's employees.
We have no complaints. Everything was great as well as the employees.
