Pros: The room was very nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The proximity of the hotel to the main strip of restaurants and shops, as well as Rocky Mountain NP, was perfect.
Cons: The bathrooms were so small we could hardly use the toilet with the door closed. The breakfast left a lot to be desired (we actually left without it) but it's nice that it's an option, especially if you were with a young family, etc.
Pros: Room was very clean and updated. Bed was very comfortable. Room wasn't huge, but comfortably fit our 3 person family. It was quiet at night. Great location!! Only 1/2 mile to the downtown area and a few minute drive to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. The owners were very nice and were very helpful in trying to provide us with the room that would fit our family's needs. We decided to stay in Estes last minute and was able to get a room. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in Estes.
Cons: The price of the room includes breakfast, but the breakfast mostly consists of packaged items like muffins and yogurt. They also had fruit. If you are looking for an actual breakfast selection then you may be disappointed. But with that said, it had offerings that allowed us to feed our baby before heading out for the day.

Pros: I liked the photo of the hotel it looked great but I was not able to experience it because kayak did not properly book my hotel like they had promised
Cons: I don't like the fact that kayak advertised it as an available room and the hotel called me 9 hours later when I was already about to check in and told me that it's not available. It ruined my vacation and I suggest never using kayak to book your hotel just call them directly because you need to make sure that kayak is going to do their job and you can never be sure of that apparently

Pros: Amazing hot tub and great playgrounds for toddlers right in the mountains.
Pros: nice large room. Very comfortable bed. Nice tub
Cons: Mediocre continental breakfast and coffee. Did not like that office staff was unavailable at 7 am. We had to give your keys to breakfast staff in order to check out at 7 am.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Rooms are large and clean. Like old time hospitality - had free DVD's and games in the lobby. Nice outdoor pool and large indoor hot tub. Also free bikes. Dogs are welcome with designated outdoor walking areas!
Cons: We only stayed one night and didn't really need to unpack, but there was only one small dresser in a very large room.
Pros: Great value for the stay. Also the front desk agents were very friendly and helpful. Overall, no complaints.
Pros: Room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Staff was great from answering questions to helping us arrange activities. We enjoyed the art class too.
There are two Murphy's which meant we could use the indoor pool at the Riverside Murphy's, since the pool at Murphy's resort was closed for the winter.
Close to the lake So wildlife viewing was easy too.
Cons: It was not fancy but a good value with everything I needed
Pros: Our room was great didn't expect what we got and we were very pleased. Peaceful with great views.
Cons: The staff could have been a bit more friendly. Overall it was well worth and we will go back!
Pros: Very nice. Just remodeled rooms! Great value for our money. Definelftly would recommend. 2 minute walk to estes lake

Cons: The bed was small as was the bedroom. The room was updated but many maintenance issues.

Pros: Room was very up to date. Reminded me of a Marriott
Bed was extremely comfortable, with very luxurious bedding and headboards
Had a kitchenette which is a very nice feature.
Kitchenette and Bathroom countertops were granite.
Had a gas fireplace with very nice stonework.
The continental breakfast was incredible. They had everything you can think of. Lots of food and drink options.
Cons: Pillows were very firm. I prefer soft
Thats really the only thing I didn't like.
Pros: Was in Estes for a horse show & three of us shared a room which was big with comfortable beds-the perfect place for crashing after a day of showing.
Cons: Shower was terrible-came out at a trickle-which made it difficult for three equestrians with long hair!
Pros: We have stayed here before. The rooms are always clean. The staff friendly. Great veiws very clise town and the lake.

Pros: The staff was really great and professional. Clean invasive and outside the rooms.
Cons: Not that I didn't like it but there was so much to do in Estes that by the time we got back to the lodge, the pool was about to close. I only wish it would stay open until 10:00 p.m.
Pros: Nice place and free breakfast too. :-))

Pros: This place was simply amazing! Rented a deluxe one br condo. It had a big hot in on the patio. The condo was spotless and we'll a pointed for the amount we paid. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for a weekend getaway. Although I'd staying longer we would have liked a bigger fridge and an over instead of just the stove top.
Cons: The parking situation needs attention. Few parking spots on the back side of property, several spots were filled with shoveled snow.
Pros: The view from the porch of the hotel was beautiful and the Estes Park area is wonderful.
Cons: Very loud hotel hard to sleep. Very much in need of updating.
Pros: The rooms are always top notch and it's great to have a private hot tub to soak in and enjoy the amazing views.
Cons: wish our hot tub had a little more privacy. Parking is a little bit of a pain when trying to pack everything with a small kid and your car is pretty far away down stairs at altitude.
Pros: This place has charm galore! My husband and I reserved a 1 night getaway from Denver and it was so worth it!
We arrived a bit later than expected but we were able to get in and up to our room. The hotel was putting on a special event "mystery dinner" so we joined in. We had such a blast!!
The room was perfect for the amazing Estes Park setting. Bed super comfy and the Claw tub/shower was great too! There was even a full length mirror which is always a must for a lady!
Cons: It would be awesome if the hotel served breakfast even if it's something to grab and go. We went to the Historic Stanley Hotel for breakfast but we would have much rather preferred to spend our money here for breakfast
Since opening in 1913 Marys Lake Lodge has enjoyed decades of tourists passing through its rustic lobby. The memories captured in its walls live in the hearts of people all over the world. Hundreds of thousands of visitors have spent the night, enjoyed a great meal, and relaxed in front of the roaring fire in the lobby. The building has earned its place on the State Register of Historic Properties for its unique character.Yet over the course of the 100 years, Marys Lake Lodge has encountered several challenges that could have forced the doors of this beautiful lodge to close forever. Challenges came in the form of economic collapse, a fire that almost destroyed the entire building, financial depravity, and just recently a destructive flood that has been classified as a "500 year" disaster. Yet despite it all, this old lodge still stands, and like a good wine, only gets better with time.

The outdoor pool is a great spot to take a dip, and guests can grab a bite to eat at Sundeck Restaurant, which serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with free WiFi and free wired Internet.
Pros: Very friendlly staff, excelent room with renewed instalations, would stay there a next time.
Cons: I'm a single woman. There were no locks on the windows, it smelled horrible and the bed was right by the unlockable window. I asked for a stick or something to put in the window, but they had none. The owner said she would buy a lock, but it would be at least two hours before she could be back. I had somewhere I needed be, so waiting in my room was not an option. I checked out and planned to sleep in my truck if nothing else. Found a great place called The Fawn Valley Inn. Best decision i could have made! Never book Americas Best Value!!!
Pros: Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Pros: The view of the mountains & the one staff member was nice.
Cons: The room was VERY out dated...the screen in the window kept falling out...the free breakfast was a sorry array of old cereal...we did NOT eat it...the beds were EXTREMELY hard...the bathtub moved under our feet...it was really pathetic for such a beautiful country side...it had no vacancy so for the amount of money coming in there could be some update...the TV was ancient...the paint was peeling every where...a dive!
