Pros: Cannot say enough about how great our stay was here! We extended our stay by a day we loved it so much. The prices were very reasonable. They checked us in 2 hrs early with zero hassle. All of the room supplies were included. While not exceedingly spacious, everything about the room and hotel oozed modern style. There was interesting literature on the shelves. The beds were clean and comfortable. In the lobby was a hip restaurant with delicious and affordable faire which we frequented almost every day, and at night became a popular bar until 1 am. There were many other places to eat, shop, or stroll past from the Hoxton's central location, but it was far enough removed from the main tourist areas to feel somewhat local. I would recommend this place to anyone except maybe those traveling with children, as I believe they had to "cheat" to fit us into a single room, and we are smaller than your average humans as it was.
Cons: My single room was tiny. It was impossible to see the television from the bed. In the evening, the lobby turned into a very crowded and noisy nightlife venue. Because of the crowd, it was difficult to get in and out of the hotel. Would never stay here again.
The Hoxton, Amsterdam is made up of a series of five canal houses overlooking both the Herengracht and Singel canals. The property has a fascinating history, dating from the early 17th Century, formally a residential town house that was home to the Mayor of Amsterdam. The hotel will consist of 111 rooms and will also house it's very own Apartment, our meeting and event space like no other, restaurant and bar.
Pros: The hotel has a trendy, designy look and staff seemed friendly enough. There's a neat garden in the back and a they have a cozy lounge with descent drinks.
Cons: I had high hopes for this property upon arrival, but overall was let down.
I had the hotel dry clean three silk items, all of which were ruined. It took me over a week to get them to resolve it and in the end, they only paid out 75% of the replacement cost.
We were put in a disabled accessible room located right by the elevator (despite not requesting an accessible room). It was loud, the accessible shower allowed water to get all over the bathroom floor. The vanity outlet in the bathroom wouldn't work and it took them coming out two times to fix it, leaving me unable to do my hair both mornings we were there.
Upon arrival, the woman who greeted us (and was apparently training) said that welcome drinks were complimentary for guests. When the man training her joined her to do our check-in in the lounge, he asked if we were in town for anything special. I mentioned it was for my husband's birthday weekend and he offered to "cover our drinks." This seemed odd given the woman had just told us they were complimentary. Not sure if he was being underhanded or if the woman training was just mistaken. The whole thing struck me as odd.
Pros: amazing interior with best in class everything
The new 122-room upscale lifestyle Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht hotel is superb located in the historic center of Amsterdam, on the site of the former Public Library on Amsterdam's Prinsengracht. It is the first Hyatt hotel in the Netherlands. The hotel is located 14.5 km from Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport and 1.9 km from the Central Train station, in the UNESCO protected canal district and within close walking distance to culture, shopping, dining and nightlife
Pros: A truly spectacular property, beautifully fitted, with attentive, friendly but not overly intrusive staff. Amsterdam is a great place to visit; this hotel is almost reason enough on its own. I stayed there twice on the same trip. The first time we upgraded to a suite, and it was beautiful, really a place to relax in and feet at home. The second stay I was alone and had a regular room. It was tiny, but entirely functional. Both rooms were street facing with large windows. The bar is lovely, as well. Be sure to try one (or two or three) of their great gin and tonics.
Cons: It is rather pricey, but you do get what you pay for.
Located in Museum Quarter, this luxury hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Stedelijk Museum and Concertgebouw. Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: This is a luxurious hotel located in the part of the Amsterdam. The service, the food and the staff were among the best that we have ever seen. We would love to go back there again.
Pros: The service was amazing! Roland was the best concierge ever. He really made our trip fabulous! Everyone was so friendly
The full-service spa Skins Institute has an infrared sauna, traditional Finnish sauna, Turkish steam bath, 4 treatment rooms for singles and couples, a relax room with a patio along the Amstel River, river-view swimming pool with a jet stream, and a 24-hour fitness studio equipped with the latest technology. Guests can indulge in beauty treatments, detoxification wraps, facials, bespoke body treatments, manicures and pedicures, and massages, all using custom-made organic products.
Pros: I love the iPad-centric room controls. Great selection of newly released movies. Comfortable bed with a great TV setup.
Cons: Temperature controls don't work very well - the room gets very cold at night even though I set the temperature to 70 Fahrenheit.
The toilet and shower design are fun and just fine for a single traveler. When traveling with a partner, there "tube" designs dont provide any privacy, especially for the toilet. Perhaps adding a fan or some ambient noise to drown out toilet noises could help keep the mood romantic, hahaha!
Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Very avant-garde. Mood lights, TV, everything can be controlled by the in room iPad.
Bar and areas downstairs provide all kinds of environments for different people and activities.
Buffet was good and reasonable.
Cons: Charging 3 euro to use a major credit card.
Pros: The check in time
Cons: No place for suitcase
Cons: Too small
Pros: A good idea for an airport hotel. Almost like a hostel. Real service even though there is simplified check in and check out. Well thought out room and superior amenities on the main floor. I recommend this for an surprised overnight.
Cons: No provision for luggage.
Pros: Efficiency, comfort.
Cons: nothing. it was perfect.
Pros: We spent a night here in transit between Brussels and Den Haag.
Walking distance from Schiphol Plaza.
Self check-in and check-out feature was very convenient.
Room decor was modern. All room light/tv/blinds were controlled with an ipad. WiFi was great. TV had a good selection of channels (for us- we watched comedy central).
We got to store our luggage for a few hours after checking out which was extremely convenient.
Hotel manager was excellent.
Cons: There was a leak with our shower, which actually made it unclear how the thing worked! So we wasted almost an hour in the morning. The hotel manager was EXTREMELY helpful... wish we'd asked him for assistance immediately!
Pros: Clean comfy room, great common areas, makes you feel at home. Will definitely stay here again. 5 minute walk to the airport, no need for taxi or shuttle
Pros: Free TV & Movies
Cons: Shower & Toilet in the room with transparent enclosure - not for the shy.
Pros: Very nice shower. Clean, trendy room. Very unique.
Cons: Room was small. Room Controls for lights, heat, etc did not work well.
Pros: Self check-in / check-out are a breeze. The rooms are clean and stylish (in a minimalist, ultramodern way). The wi-fi is excellent. Free on-demand films. The hotel is quiet, and it is conveniently located next to the airport. Free luggage storage was a nice perk, giving me the chance to take the train into Amsterdam and see a bit of the city before returning to Schiphol for my onward flight.
Cons: The shower handles are very difficult to turn with wet hands, and I need to cover them eith a hand towel to get enough grip to turn them. The breakfast offerings are mediocre and breakfast is terribly overpriced. On past visits, I went ahead and paid the price, but this time I just walked to the airport and bought myself similar breakfast items for a third of the cost. The selection of TV channels could be improved.
Situated near the airport, this hotel is within 9 mi (15 km) of World Fashion Centre, Stedelijk Museum, and Van Gogh Museum. Concertgebouw and Leidseplein are also within 9 mi (15 km).
Pros: Buffet breakfast included. Evening dinner selection is limited but still ok. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Shuttle bus to airport is quick, approx 10 mins to airport
Cons: Limited dinner menu. Shower water pressure not good. Shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes so check timing to make sure you make it to the airport on time. Shuttle bus pick up is separate from other hotels. Pick up at STA office near Starbucks arrival 4 section. Not a criticism but not obvious location.
Pros: Shuttle service was well organized and worked well
Cons: Dining here is very expensive and service for dinner was 'if you must I will'
Cons: My room was cleaned at 5pm instead of in the morning
The Hyatt Place is situated only 5 Km from Schiphol Airport Amsterdam. The hotel is close to both the city centres of Amsterdam and Haarlem, which offer interesting musea, site seeing, restaurants and shopping areas. The surroundings of the hotel offer several recreation sights like golfcourses, tennisclubs and spa's.
Pros: We spent four full days traveling the area. The room where spacious, clean, and comfortable. This hotel was right next to the train station and bus line and provide direct access to all the popular areas in less than 30 minutes. The staff provided excellent customer service and were extremely helpful in helping my family navigate the transportation system.
Cons: Paying for parking was a challenge. It would be nice if the hotel partnered with the parking garage company so that all transactions could take place within the hotel during check out.
Pros: Green roof, green spaces, many dining options, areas for both kids and adults to frolic, close to rail station.
Cons: Elevators slightly cramped

Pros: five minutes walk from terminal
clean, modern, comfortable
easy trip into Amsterday
Cons: mattress too soft
stall shower very tiny and congested
Pros: Proximity to the terminal perfect
Cons: I miss a water kettle and coffee tea in the room. Coffee station on the floor is nice but I prefer my own. Hilton for the win on that one with a nespresso machine in each room.
The Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel and Conference Center is directly attached to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), offering convenient access to its terminals, shopping and dining destinations within Schiphol Plaza, and public transit to the city center. Pros: It's right next to the train station. I didn't hear any trains at all through the windows. Trains to the airport leave every 15-20 minutes, and Amsterdam Centraal is one stop down as well. It's close enough to the city, but far enough for some quiet time when you want it.
Cons: The location is a bit outside of the heart of Amsterdam, but that can be good if you're tired of all the sound and lights.

Pros: No parking! You can pay 30 euros for leaving the car at the front door area but only place for about 10 cars! The room was ok but a little bit dirty! The breakfast buffet to expensive for what it offer! I purchased a king size bed but they give me single beds because they had no more rooms availabel! Very disapointing.
Cons: I will not recomend this hotel even to my enemies!
Situated in a fully restored historical building built in 1891, The Manor Hotel Amsterdam - Hampshire Eden is 2 blocks from Oosterpark, a 7-minute walk from Tropenmuseum, and 2 km (1.25 mi) from the Jewish Historical Museum, Dutch Resistance Museum, Hermitage Amsterdam and Artis zoo.

You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and free buffet breakfast is available daily between 8:30 AM and 11 AM. Also, Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum are within just a 10-minute walk.
Pros: Good price- bus to airport was very convenient and free. Good deal for price.
Cons: Hotel hallways (and to some extent the room) smelled like weed and cigarettes. Budget rooms were very outdated and didn't feel very clean.
Pros: very well
Pros: After encountering one of Europe's worst heat waves, this was a pleasant surprise. The a/c was ice cold; the rooms were perfect for my family (individual beds); breakfast was more than adequate; and the hotel's restaurant had excellent dishes. I sincerely enjoyed my three day stay. I will come again.
Pros: We stayed here two days(not consecutive) and the hotel was very nice! The first night we stayed we had a great room, it must have just been re done. The bathroom was amazing with a huge tub and a separate shower with a rainfall shower head! The room was huge and very clean! It was decorated very nicely! The staff was very nice and helpful! There was a balcony which was a plus. They had a shuttle that took you to and from the airport which was very convienent because the hotel is definitely in the middle of no where!
Cons: If your looking for a place to experience Amsterdam this would not be it! The hotel is basically in the middle of no where but they do have a shuttle that runs every 40 minutes that takes you to the airport where you can get on the train and be down to Amsterdam in about 20 min. The first time we stayed here we had a great room, it was beautiful! The second time we stayed there the room was much less then what we were expecting! There wasn't anything wrong with it but I guess we just got out in the older part of the hotel that time!
Pros: Restaurant was very good, bar staff very attentive, facilities very clean.
Cons: Not a thing
Cons: Front desk staff attitude. Stayed there >5 times. Never had staff refer to my being a regular customer. I had just arrived from a long flight and had to wait in foyer for a room. Too much luggage to safely carry 'down' to storage area myself. Staff wouldn't hold even one piece behind the counter. I was a woman travelling alone so not at all considerate as I couldn't even visit the bathroom!
Staff also eager to suggest only most expensive suites available when this was not strictly true, on a previous stay with no prior booking.
Good reason to book before going!
Other than one male front desk staff, most times front desk staff seemed high-handed and rather unfriendly.
Shame because hotel is convenient and the food is great!

The rooms, restaurant Bridges, the banqueting halls and the beautiful garden terrace captivate and seduce everyone into visiting the hotel. Pros: Outstanding location. Excellent staff. We would use it again and plan to have FREIND's stay there in August
Cons: Great staff knowledgeable about area and willing to answer questions and provide direction. Rooms are clean.
Cons: Being overcharged/ They cached my deposit and failed to return it!
Bordered by a warren of narrow streets lined with pubs, cafés, and restaurants, this hotel faces a small square, and is 400 metres from the central train station. Dam Square, Royal Palace, and Nieuwe Kerk are all within 500 metres of the hotel.
Cons: Lounge didn't have food available all the time
Lounge should open at 5 am
We were with my handicap father and the hotel lobby is handicap accessible but it would be a real problem if he had to leave quickly.
Pros: The location is perfect, walking distance from the train. We also walked both days from the hotel through the neighborhoods to the museum district and back. The breakfast and cocktail receptions were an added benefit.
Pros: Great location. great food, friendly staff.
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Amsterdam and couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Very comfortable, immaculate, great location, incredibly friendly and professional staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel for pleasure or business trip.
Pros: Great central location. Nice, business-class hotel with good facilities and service. Ask for room facing courtyard, which is quieter than street side. Kayak price of $170/nt incl (very good) breakfast was great deal for this property.
Cons: Had booking confirmation in-hand.
Manager asked a ton of questions, asked me to email her the confirmation, wasted a half hour till she finally told me the reservation cannot be honored because their reservation system was already closed, meaning they overbooked and refused my reservation after I already showed up at the hotel.
They wasted my time.
They were rude.
They tried to blame me even though all i did was book online.
They provided no assistance in getting a different room in the city.
BE CAREFULL ON BUSY NIGHTS, THEY OVERBOOK.

Pros: Great staff.
Clean, spacious common area
Clean room - plenty of light and outlets
Cons: Limited dinner menu - tho good food.
Cons: The bathrom was dirty with hair on the floor. Used soap in shower. Advertized free local calls and free wifi but was charged for both, for $200!
Pros: It was close to airport and the staff was helpful. It was clean. Loved the tea service. The lobby was pretty. Main thing for me was it was clean. I will pay more next time.
Cons: The room didn't look like the pictures. I think you can upgrade to the newer rooms. Our room had stains on carpet and chairs and walls were scuffed up. I would say it was a 3 star hotel.
Pros: Great Price, modern, free airport shuttle, friendly staff.
Cons: A bit far away from downtown, but that is not why one would stay at an airport hotel.
Pros: I like the big size of everything
Cons: Distance from airport and distance from city center
