Pros: Rooms are very clean, very comfortable bed and pillows, nice breakfast, well maintained location.
Cons: The price of a room in Kewanee shouldn't cost over $100/night on a normal weekend. For a 2 night stay, I paid over $265 with taxes.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and the location was great.
Cons: The main reasons we chose this hotel, was it was close to family and had a pool.....the pool was out of order, the bed was so ungodly uncomfortable, the pillows were hard as a rock and after an all day outing, when we returned late that night, we couldn't get into our room. The key card's wouldn't work. We buzzed and waited at the desk for well over 20 minutes. There is a manager on site and they were no where to be found. A young girl finally asked us, in passing if we needed someone and she found the staff for us. Our key card's were quickly corrected and handed back. There were also ants in the bathroom. We had planned on sleeping in but were unable to do so, as there were no heavy curtains to pull. Only thin white curtains that gave privacy but did not block ANY sunlight.
Pros: Inviting, welcoming appearance. clean well kept. good staff.
Cons: there was a seasonal problem with ants. If you left any food crumbs around you would have many guests. I didn't have this problem.
Pros: This is the cleanest, most up-to-date hotel in Kewanee. This hotel was far beyond my expectations for a Motel 6. Locally owned and operated, everything was perfect. Check-in was a breeze and the price was right. The hotel is on the main road but quiet
Pros: This motel was conveniently located across the street from a well maintained, very friendly staffed AmericInn! Who welcomed us with open arms @ 3AM, and saved us from our very disastrous short stay at the Motel 6.
Cons: I did not like: The bugs crawling around the lobby upon check in The musty smell of the hotel, and room The urine stains on the walls of the bathroom The mouse in the garbage can, we named 'Lil 6'. RIP Lil 6!!
Pros: It seems there had been some remodeling which was good too see. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Linens were clean but wrinkled kind of a put off. Stay was good and we would stay again.
Cons: The fridge by the coffee pots was empty. Cold water could have been in there and more yogurt. The tub and bathroom floor could have used a little extra time and care. Clean the vents in the airconditionig unit.
Pros: The room met our needs. It had a refrigerator and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: There was no top sheet on the bed. The free breakfast was awful. The apple juice was fermented, the waffle batter was sour, the milk smelled bad. If you stay there, go out for breakfast.
Our car alarm went off 3 times sitting by itself in the parking lot. Monday morning when we went to leave the windshield was broken. It was not when we parked it Sunday night by itself.
Pros: Our room was close to the exit door of the building.
Cons: They hardly spoke English and questioned our reservation. Our room was next to were people went outside to smoke. The carpet in the room was filthy. There were lady bugs in the room.
Motel 6 Kewanee IL is conveniently located off of Hwy 34. Enjoy Free Wi-Fi and Micro-fridges in all guest rooms, and a hot tub in select rooms. We also have a coin laundry, a grill, a meeting room, and truck parking onsite.
Cons: There is not enough room to tell all the awful things the night manager said and did to myself and two young daughters. He scared us to the point we had to call police. NEVER STAY HERE.
Pros: reasonable rates.
Cons: Breakfast was limited for someone wanting to cut back on sugar and white flour. Protein was hard to get.
Pros: comfortable, clean and inexpensive- great value.
Cons: a little off the beaten path, but not too far.
Would not ever give it more than 2 stars.
Pros: Pool was very nice.
Cons: The rooms (multiple) smelled like cigar or old cigarette smoke. We mentioned it to the front desk, so we would not get charged, and they offered to move us. We declined because we were traveling with a baby (lots of bags and stuff) and had to be leaving.
Pros: Rooms were very clean and spacious. The employees were helpful and friendly.
My kids were very impresses by the automated pancake maker as they could do it themselves. But there was hardly enough room in b-fast area for all guests and ppl ended up standing as you are not allowed to take food to your room. We also had our cable service go out numerous times in our room. The front desk was very polite with letting us check in early as we arrived to town earlier than expected. We were on second floor and used the back stair access which smelled of mold even though I couldn't see any. But overall for the price I paid I felt like it was worth it.
Pros: Rooms nicely decorated and pool was a nice warm temperature
Cons: The box spring on one of the beds in our double bed room had a very large stain on it. A bathroom tile above shower clearly had mildew/mold on it. The water pressure was enough to feel as if your skin was being stripped of your body.
Breakfast was very poor!! Expired milk and cold cereal:((
Pros: It was clean in the room
Cons: No ice machine, inoperable pool, entire first floor under construction. Should not have been open during remodel and definitely not worth the--- we paid for 6 hours of sleep in a bed barely big enough for one person let alone my husband and I.
Overall pretty disappointed with this hotel considering i paid---- for the room. The check in lady was rude to the customer in front of me and acted like he was a bother. The continental breakfast was sufficient.
Pros: The room was large and the pool was pretty nice. The pool was clean, though they used tile instead of concrete around it so the kids kept slipping. Also, it says heated but it was still pretty chilly.
Cons: It was dirty. There were bugs in our bathroom, a spider in the corner of the ceiling - dead. The hallways &stairways were filthy& the entrance to the back door were covered in bugs& cobwebs. Advertised as a pullout sofa in king room but was a
Pros: Over all the environment was clean and inviting. Great for an over nite stay or maybe longer.
Cons: Check in clerk was difficult to understand. Needed to speak up and act more friendly.
this is a nice hotel. however i would not just go in and get a room as they have hight rates usually. that's why i went thru you instead of calling them. i would not pay over a hundred per night for this hotel. but the price we paid was worth it.
Pros: very clean, people helpful, our room was on back side so was quiet.
Cons: no elevator, but not a big deal. was offered 1-2 floor
