The room was really nice and the breakfast was good :)
We could hear the downstairs television perfectly in our room which was on well into the night. The owner also sat with us at breakfast and complained about selling the property which was awkward. He was also gruff at check in and he embarrassed me in front of my boyfriend.
Lovely inn, comfortable king sized bed, great coffee, breakfast, complimentary wine, cake and cookies. Enjoyed talking with other guests in the sunny breakfast room. Tom and staff were very helpful. Good location, would definitely recommend this inn to others!
We got the last available room and only comment (not a complaint) was that it was little tight on space. Less furniture in the room might enhance the space and be more comfortable for guests. I peeked into the Rose room and if we come back I hope that lovely room is available!
Tom was very accommodating, after a long drive he allowed us to check in early. We checked in and he showed us where the fridge ( fully stocked with complimentary beer and wine) was and where we could get our hands on some delicious goodies. We loved the feel of the home as soon as we entered. Decorated nicely with many antiques you felt like you were stepping back a bit in time.. The front porch was perfect for having your morning coffee. Our room was tucked back in the back with its own private entrance which was perfect. There was a deck attached to our room in the rear as well where you can sit and relax. Our shower was connected to the room and the water temp got very hot. Perfect for a chilly morning. Our room also had a fire place. The whole atmosphere was romantic and cozy. What really set our stay apart from other bed and breakfasts had to be the breakfast though. Tom is a master chef and it shows. Gourmet breakfasts each morning we’re just amazing. The portions were plentiful. This is a must try place for anyone who just wants to get away for a bit.
Top quality bed and linens. Chef prepared breakfast that was out of this world! Simply fantastic
