Breakfast could be improved Coffee needs improvement
the bed was comfort to sleep the cleaning associates was very nice.
the internet was very slow, shower water need to have better pressure. we got to the hotel at 2;45 am on Friday morning and the room they assign to daughter was dirt.it looked like someone literally just got out the shower. there was towels on the floor and the bed wasn't made.
One star, or Two Star at best. Not a three star!
The clean bathroom.
The nasty stained bed sheets, the rickety elevator that someone definitely kept smoking in, the broken coffee maker and questionable outlets.
Will always come back, great little place to rest your head!!!
Bad Service - Very Unsatisfied
- Terrible service. They didn't make the beds for two days in a row even when we asked them to, repeatedly! - Room smelled. - Not good value for money
I appreciate the staff here. While they didn't necessarily seem knowledgeable, they were kind and didn't make me fret too much over all the issues we encountered. I also love that this particular Days Inn was near to our convention venue (the Cobb Galleria) but still far enough away that I didn't have to worry about traffic pulling out of the parking lot or any other crazy things like that.
There were quite a few things I didn't like about the Days Inn. Let me start by saying that while I wouldn't consider myself an expert by any measure, I am somewhat of a seasoned traveler. I have spent my fair share of time in hotels world wide, and without a doubt this place is in my bottom ten. My friends and I had reservations for Friday through Sunday, so naturally I stopped by on Thursday (while picking up my convention badges) to make sure everything was set and our reservation had been received appropriately so we wouldn't have any trouble checking in the next day. I was told everything was set, that I could pay for a portion of my room in cash and a portion on my card (which was important because we were splitting up the payment between three people), and that check in would be at 3 but I was welcome to check in at 1 if our room was ready. The next day my sister and I arrive ahead of our friends at 1:30 to check in. I am told there is no record of my reservation and that I will no longer be able to get my room at the original rate that I had reserved. Apparently, they ran my debit card that morning at 8 and it had been decline (because I had taken all of my money out to have it in cash form for use at the convention and had only my portion of the room money on it) so they cancelled my reservation. No phone call was made to me. No attempt at letting me know. Not even an email was sent. Luckily, the woman working the check in counter was the same one from the night before, so she remembered that I did in fact make the reservation so they gave me the last room available. After about twenty minutes of fiddling with the computer, we were finally given room keys to our second floor room. Upon opening the door to our room (which was a hassle in and of itself because only ONE of our keys worked) we discovered that one of the beds had not been made, the toilet had not been cleaned, and there was a mysterious jelly pile on the floor beneath the table. Again, the woman at the counter was very kind when it came to helping me exchange the key that didn't work, but altogether the room basically sucked. We also weren't given any sort of shampoo or lotion. Saturday went pretty smoothly and Sunday we had no trouble checking out, but all things considered, we probably won't be returning to this hotel. I'd much rather spend twice the money for a hotel rather than think I'm getting one thing and end up with something far below my expectations.
The king size bed. That is all. It was comfortable.
There was drops of blood on the carpet in front of the bathroom, a bloody fingerprint on the bathroom door frame. There was remains of marijuana left on the nightstand under the corded phone. I told the lady at the front desk and they did nothing. Guaranteed that I will never stay there for vacation. I'll pay a little more for piece of mind next time.
