The hotel is really nice and gives a luxury feeling. Liked the decor, the pool and the shops/restaurants in general. The customer service is very friendly and professional.
The air quality isn't great. They allow smoking inside. Although there are smoking and non smoking sections, you can smell the smokes everywhere.
A lot to do within the casino and hotel
Expensive with nothing included
That you have no access to Water Club pool when you are an overnight guest at Borgata.
Food was great, place was clean and it felt safe
The only thing I didn't like was that I requested a room with a view but didn't get one. Other than that my stay was awesome
The hotel was clean, the people were friendly...
Everything was way too expensive... $500/night for an average room, $10 for 320mbs of data (wifi), $150 deposit on the room on top of the $500... The drinks had no alcohol in them, there were no free movies in the room and you were not allowed to use or take the shampoo and body wash in the room. They had a sign that literally said, if you take them we will charge you. For all the money I paid for the room I should get a free breakfast or something, strong drinks, free wifi etc. I had a nice time at the concert I went to but I will never stay overnight again.
Upgraded from a standard room to an amazing suite - wonderful bathroom and main room. Great views
Check in was easy despite a long line, the room was a good size, comfortable and clean, the hotel food options that I tried were all good, I like the poker room, it was easy to get a late check-out.
wifi didn't work in my room, access to lap pool is $75, that's insane. even the regular gym is an extra $15, it should be included.
Bathroom was very nice !
There wasn't any microwaves in the rooms .
The Borgata is obviously one of the more upscale properties in AC, and it is a nice looking property. The amenities were everything you would expect from a resort that charges as much as their average room rate. Our high floor room had a great view and lots of sun. We had a delicious dinner at Bobby Flay's Steakhouse.
Housekeeping still had the door propped open when we arrived at the room, but the nice cleaning lady told us she was done and scurried away. We requested and received a non-smoking room, but the guests before us had clearly been smoking in the bathroom because it REEKED and there were still some lingering ashes on the floor and in the sink. We called the front desk to ask them to come air out the room (and go on record to make sure WE weren't charged for it) and they said they would send someone right up to clean again. We left and went down to the bar for some drinks, played a little roulette (where we quickly lost all our money) and then had dinner. We returned to the room around 11pm and it still smelled. At that point we were tired and didn't want to switch rooms, so we dealt with it -- though every casino in AC (except for the late Revel) allows smoking, and if that's not your thing it's nice to escape to a fresh room that doesn't smell. We both had trouble sleeping because the stale smoke gave us intense headaches. The following morning upon leaving, we ran into the same housekeeper and thanked her for trying to clean the smoke, but let her know the room still stank so that they could perhaps take it offline until they were able to do a deep cleaning. She told us that because of our complaint, her boss yelled at her the previous day and made her cry. What a bummer. The front desk clerk was totally unsympathetic when we checked out and told her that we didn't even get a good night's sleep because we both had headaches - no comp of any kind, no apology, nothing. Given that we didn't win a penny, caused a member of their staff to be verbally abused and left with a suitcase full of smelly things, we'll probably skip the Borgata next time and try our luck elsewhere. I also expect that because of the isolated location of the property set way back from the Boardwalk, they can get away with slightly worse odds because you have to take a taxi to any other casino.
The spa was out of this world. The facility, amenities, food, drinks, service....everything was top notch. I had a Moor Mud Wrap and I would recommend it to everyone!!!!
The only negative was that when we checked in, the front desk accidentally gave us a room that had not been cleaned yet. The front desk fixed it quickly and was apologetic. I have stayed at Borgata...at least 7-8 times before - and that was the first time anything like that ever happened. The staff is great!
Amazing room and view. Very friendly and professional staff.
Wish there were slipper & robes. Elevator can causes a little motion sickness. But overall experience was great. Would come back again.
The room and view were great.
There is nothing I didn't like.
The view from my room , the comfortable bed, the fancy bathroom and furniture.?
All the bars were empty and restaurants closed or empty around midnight. No alternative to gambling or Murmur club for late night activity. The food at the small concessions was over prized small and stall
