Overview
The Tropicana Casino and Resort offers a world-class hotel experience with a tropical theme. It is located on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, and it is a three-minute walk from the beach. It has gaming available 24 hours a day and more than 25 shops in the Quarter. Its casino has won awards for being one of the best in the area.
In addition to its casino, it also has features like a nightclub, live entertainment on the weekends, and an IMAX movie theater. This hotel is popular with couples and families, with plenty of family-friendly activities, such as the arcade or sports center. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center, seasonal beach service, a spa, and free Wi-Fi.
Rooms are available in the four different towers. The Chelsea Tower rooms are connected to the Tropicana by the Skybridge. There are 2,047 rooms. It was renovated in the spring of 2014 and 2015 with updates to the rooms and casino floor. The hotel also added a Multimedia Light and Sound Show along with a newly built AtlantiCare LifeCenter Fitness room. Renovations on the hotel, built in 1981, were completed in 2018. The rooms in the Havana Tower, South Tower and the North Tower are renovated, with features like king beds or a double queen room with a spa bathroom with views of the ocean.
The Tropicana Casino and Resort has 24 restaurants and 18 bars and lounges. Family-friendly restaurant options include the family-style Italian restaurant called Carmine’s, the Fiesta Buffet with a breakfast menu as well as lunch and dinner, and the Palm Restaurant, which is a steakhouse decorated with caricatures. There are other fine dining and casual food options as well.

Always a good time at The Tropicana, so many amenities you don’t have to leave.
I love the fact that everything was inside movie theater comedy club. It was awesome. The only thing was a little confusing to navigate through but that was my first time going there. Other than that it was great. I'm definitely going back
Hallway carpet was dirty . Housekeeping should vacuum inside and outside hallway when they clean. The King bed was worn out and very uncomfortable that resulted in lower back pain

Cons (-) The room which I was told was just. A “standard” room by the rude concierge had poor AC, buzzing lights, mega outdated fixtures in the bathroom. Our phone didn’t work so so we couldn’t call and complain that the tub/shower drained slowly and that the room never got cool enough given the summer time. We were put in the last room at the end of a long hallway on a Monday night stay.

The wait to get on the elevator to the parking garage is horrible. 10 min wait just to get on, I don't understand why such a big hotel only has one elevator for the garage. Also the room was not 100% clean. The vent in the bathroom shower was disgusting, there were holes on the wall. You can't see...
