family visit everything was OK
Helpful and kind staff, good position to visit the surrounding areas, seaside etc. Clean and tidy room. Free public parking in the area
Nice town No parking Late arrival, only French speaking night personnel.
clean central everything worked in the room
the matres and blankets feel sweaty. Please buy more natural fabric
Very nice and clean hotel, staff was also very smiling and helpful. Large rooms for family. Situated very central in Aubagne, bus and train at 2 min.
Inexpensive, not too far out of Marseille, near a wonderful farmer's market on weekend mornings and an excellent wood-fired pizza restaurant! Internet connection free buy annoying disconnects and ads every 15 mins. Fine for checking email though.
position of hotel on market square ideal for our requirements
Staff are excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. Good location. Parking isn't free, took a while for one of our rooms to be ready at check in.
The reception staff were always very helpful Supervision of the room cleaning staff needs to be improved. It is a great pity that the the rooftop restaurant remains closed to hotel guests. The groundfloor restaurant does not have any atmosphere (or view).
Hotel new or just rennovated. it fits the purpose and with a good ration quality/price it was a bit chilly in the room. An extra blanket was recommended. The lights in the corridor didn't work. Few little details which may give a better impression of the hotel. Generally speaking still quite good
The nice swimming pool, the flexibility to addapt the menu for our little children The airconditioning was not sufficient and the garden is a mess
The room and bathroom was clean The location was in an industrial estate and there are no restuarants around for dinner and you cannot walk safely out at night. Very disappointed. Pool area was very average.
Free Wi-Fi in the room. Only on the first day we had fresh breakfast, second day bread was hard and seemed to be from the day before.
Easy access for a one night accomodation on the road of the French riviera. Quietness Smoking smell in the room
Excellent restaurant Small rooms
The lunch and dinner were very good, and very good value for money: the waiter was most obliging, choice varied and well cooked - we chose salmon and pork, plus salad landaise for lunch. The portions were generous and well balanced. Furniture needs to be updated. However, renovation was clearly underway. cf. point 2 above, the hotel is best suited for access to the congress centre and les Paluds light industrial zone.
We didn't stay long enough because it was in the wrong location for us from where it was advertised.
very helpfull and friendly staff rooms very small. So-called airconditioning not working.
the strategic location (easy access to Marseille, Cassis and Aix en Provence) I'ts not that easy to find the hotel ; rooms are rather small
Close to Aix and Marseille Staff seemed bothered to help. Rooms small and lacking charm.
the room was spacious enough with a small kitchinette and fridge unfortunatley the fridge and kitchinette where not working, ithink these would add more usefull nes to the room and should be swiched on / wired up. the decor was modern with a very comfortable double bed, the bathroom was small but very functional and came with free toiliteries. self catering appliances not installed and working. i could have used the fridge
the rooms looked very new and clean the breakfast wasn't too good
Small room but comfortable, clean and functional, 11am checkout but they slowed us to extend to midday Not the most glamorous location but very convenient
easy access, free and good wifi connection, good quality/price ratio fro dinner the room lacked a chair and usage of the working desk was uncomfortable
Definately not worth its price
At walking distance from the port, good parking; breakfast could have more variety (for example every day another cheese …).
The beautiful setting and surrounding in Cassis. Nice staff.
The location was good, 5 minute walk to the port. It was really convenient that there was a decent-size parking lot at the hotel, too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were 4 people and had the junior suite - one double bed, one fold out couch (a comfortable one!)...which was quite good value for Cassis.
Value for money. Beautiful town of Cassis, within walking distance to city center and beaches. We should have stayed longer! For 3 adults, the room was a bit cramped but we were only there for 1 night and we knew going in that this may be a problem for us, not the hotel.
Very nice view of the pool from the room. Bed was very comfortable. Loved having the mini fridge and access to the internet via the hotel computer. 1. Better linghting in the water closet. 2. Asked about needing reservations for Fleurs de Thym after it was recommended to us. Was told there was no need during mid-week (it was Wednesday). Got to the restaruant about 20 minutes after it opened and was told yoiu always need reservations and they could not accomodate us.
Hotel staff was very frendly
The weather was lovely! Nice hotel, but facilities didn't justify the price per night. However, it was comfortable and the location was good. No, it was fine.
Outside pool and gardn. Friendly ,helpful staff/ Our room 306 was dark and compared with our friends at front of hotel which had a larger balcony with view at same price.Toilet was ridiculously small and difficult to use. I feel we should have had a reduction for this.
helpful and friendly staff beds were a bit small!
The room was a good size, not cramped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was excellent for the facilities. The wireless internet connection was not available in the rooms, only a small corner of the hotel.
staff and location near man routes if you are taller then 1m85 the beds may be to small
convenient location for us, with a 4 bed room which suits families travel directions were poor
quite, nice place near the mountains and roads to Marseille and Casis. The rooms with good new furniture. Breakfast, wifi, parking - are good.
The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly
Very pleasant room, excellent location, good value and helpful staff. Shower not the best.
The hotel was well situated right on the port. The room had been recently refurbished and was spacious and comfortable. It was good value for money. The hotel bar/restaurant was very noisy and the noise was loud uptil at least 01.30 which kept me awake.
The hotel was clean. That's about the only thing I liked. There is no elevator, Situated above a night club, lights are turned off at night in the hallways (you need to switch them on so they would re- open), in general this place sucks. go there only if you have no other option or if the price is convinient for you.
Friendly staff (even managing to refrain from laughing at my awful attempts at French). Room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. A delight to have a bed with such a wonderfully firm mattress for my dodgy back. Great central location.
great central location, good price and rooms with a balcony are worth having it has a very loud sound system some nights of the week - but was quite on our thursday night
Located by harbour/beach. Interesting cabin design of room - influence of Le Corbusier?
The room was nice and tidy, couldn't check in till 2:00 but they let us drop off our bags earlier Couldn't move in until 2:00.
location, very helpful manager (gave me a lift to the station when there were no taxis)
This hotel is situated very close to the beach and to the centre of the restaurant strip Not any fault of the hotel, but parking is a nightmare and extraordinarily expensive if the public carpark is used.
Great location and friendly staff. Price also good for the region. Room was spacious and comfortable, just what we wanted and better than many others we stayed in in Provence. Parking was, predictably, a nightmare, but that is not the fault of the hotel!
Day Receptionist excellent, helpful, polite, kind and very efficient. The night porter was bored, would rather be somewhere else and gave me the impression that he couldn't care less! The breakfast and lunch were of very good standard. The pool was clean and so were the rooms but the carpets are in need of replacement . Room was looking 'tired' and bathroom too but towels and bedding impeccably clean. We will be very happy to return to this hotel in the future as the staff in general were extremely helpful. Price/quality very good. See above
Reception staff was very helpfull, although I couldn`t book for one double bed and extra bed for my daughter with booking.com`s system They help us and changed the room. The room was comfortable and clean.
Very Friendly staff Hotel is quite old and needs renewal
Everything. Superb value hotel. Nice rooms. Great air con. Fantastic restaurant. Pleasant staff. Good location. Everything excellent. Absolutely nothing at all.
The hotel its easy to reach by highway but in a quiet area.
Personel was very friendly and helpfull. Perfect parking abilitys. Asked for smoking room...all rooms were non-smoking. French kitchen is very poor, but that counts for the whole country.. KFC taste 100x better. Roomprices could drop a few €, € 50.00 a night would be a better price.
We could not get booked in until 06:10 in the morning, we rang a few times to get directions but at no stage did anyone inform us that we required a six digit code to check in automatically. As above
The fresh air and closeness of restaurant facility Just that one of the staff was very helpful and speaks English rather well. And great service too.
The view is amazing overlooking the marina. The location is great because you step out the door of the hotel onto the marina and you can walk from there to any of the restaurants or around the marina to the beach. The rest of the place was pretty awful. Hardly decorated except for a few oddly placed prints of exotic animals. The room itself was so plain, with nothing on the walls except for the tiny TV in the tippy-top corner of the wall (for which they had to give you the remote when you check in). The room was so tiny it was hard to squeeze by the foot of the beds. The bathroom was also tiny, with just a single stall standing shower that was not lit as part of the bathroom lighting. The room in general was just not clean, and you could feel debris sticking to your feet when walking about barefoot (shortly after checking in). The worst part about this place was that you could hear every little cough, footstep, and even turns of keys in room doors throughout the whole building the entire night and morning. It was nearly impossible to get any sleep because of this. To add to the mess, a storm came through and knocked out the power, and it seemed Hotel Le Golf was the last to get it back, resulting in a mass exodus, including us. Do yourself a favor - for the same price, stay at the Best Western up the street.
Lovely pool, great flat screen tv, location, sea theme in hotel, modern cleanliness of hotel. None
Good accomodation, nice swimming pool, good breakfast, good location with nice view. Rooms could be cleaner, staff could be more personal
Excellent position and views, would be happy to return.
Clean Small room for price
Desk staff was extremely helpful and gave us good travel suggestions during the recent strikes. Size of room and bathroom was quite small.
It was within easy walking distance of the harbour and restaurants The safe in the hotel room didn't work
Pres du port La plupart des chambres donnent sur un parking et une route bruyante.Les chambres du bas sont a hauteur des passants !
The location was great, close to the city center, walkable. Pool area is really nice with a nice view and comfortable sun beds. The rooms were super old and tiny. If you get the rooms in the "basement", there isn't a lot of light and super cramped. The room wasn't that clean when we checked-in. The mini fridge was all wet inside and looked gross. The service was okay, they weren't super friendly or helpful.
Clean rooms, good brekfast, wifi internet, nice pool. Rather small rooms, no refrigerator in the room
Why going there? It is expensive, ugly, depressing.
We spent a long weekend in Cassis Le Rade. The hotel is very confortably located near city centre and close to the start point to long walks into the Calanques. The hotel swimming pool is excellent ! The hotel is easy to find as directions are well indicated on the road.
We really reluxed during the stay. This hotel was like home. The host and hostess were very kind enough to book the dinner outside hotel. The location was very good for exploring Provence. The room was very clean. Nothing really. The breakfast was not impressive, but it is a French custome, I think.
The Freindly staff and information given to me regarding hard to find little known spots
Reasonable price, breakfast - more than typical french one. No tea making machine, not easy to find, hard to get out. One wouldnt manage to see Marseille without a car.
Secure monitored parking. Nothing else! Way overpriced! Reception not very friendly. Spartan room. Much like mas des ecureils this is popular with businessmen who get their room paid for by their employer. Room 1 a non-smoking room was deemed an upgrade (what a joke). The door rubbed against the carpeting when opened and at 3am you could smell the chimney smoke from the owner's dying fireplace. Smokers also congregate below your window. Owners have an arrogant aloof attitude.
Very quiet. Clean. Nice staff. Cute small hotel in a pretty area not too far from Marseille. Lovely pool area. Feels like home. Bed a little bit too soft for me, but that is personal. Also there were no croissant for breakfast which I found was missing.
Nice location and helpful host. The bed was uncomfortable.
The hotel was spotless, very nice and the staff could not have been more helpful if they had tried.
Very efficiently run and very clean, very helpful.
Great services and friendly staff. In locating hotel, GPS would be helpful as it is in the "suburbs" of Marseilles.
Helpfulness of the owner - really made us feel as if we were his friends Bit difficult to get to - intructions aboout getting there by public transport need to be clearer
