Pros: We had a great stay and the king suite was amazing!
Pros: Gorgeous place, lovely staff. Very relaxed, open feel. Lots for kids to do but as a couple we had a lovely, romantic time too :)
Pros: My girlfriend and I decided last minute to make a trip to the Kemah Boardwalk while I was visiting her. We arrived the Monday after Spring Break and essentially had the whole area to ourselves. It was perfect timing for a little getaway. The hotel was great, very sweet and friendly staff. The room overlooked the water with a cute little balcony. It had a decent sized tub and shower. The decor was nautical yellows and blues. Very quaint but not cheesy. Just very nicely done. I would absolutely stay there again. 8/10
Cons: No fridge in the room. We stayed on a week night so everything closed around 9, but we didn't have to fight any crowds. It is noisy because of the attractions but not terrible.
Pros: Location, pool, spacious room.
Cons: We wish Kemah Boardwalk had more things open until 9 pm on Thursday in early November. This was not something the hotel can change, just an observation.
Kemah Boardwalk Inn features a marina and puts you just steps from Kemah Boardwalk. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool or grab a bite to eat at Bayside Grille, which is one of 5 restaurants and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Nice touches like rainfall showerheads and designer toiletries are offered up in all rooms, along with balconies and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: The room was spacious and beautifully decorated.
Cons: I didn't like that you didn't have enough staff in the middle of the night. I believe that there should never be a 15 min wait for someone to help you check in. I understand that my boyfriend and I checked in late but we waited for thirty minutes until someone could help us. Luckily enough the gentleman that checked us in was curterious and we could tell that he was being split between three different areas. If we hadn't paid already, we would have left.
Pros: The location was excellent. I enjoyed being able to walk to shops, restaurants and the boardwalk. The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Parking was free for hotel guests. Room stayed nice and cool. Enjoyed having a mini fridge in the room. It enabled us to be able to take cold water with us, much needed on hot afternoons, and because water in most vending machines and at the boardwalk is $3.00 each. Walk-in shower was nice, however, the water pressure was not adequate.
Cons: Staff was mediocre. Meaning they were somewhat professional and took care of requests in a timely manner, but lacking in hospitality. Never asked how our stay was or really seemed interested. I had booked via booking website. I reserved and paid for a spacious double queen room because we were needing a roll away bed for our 5-year old. We were given the standard double queen room and the hotel does not have roll away beds at all, as stated on the website. We had to purchase an air bed from WalMart. Hotel rate was overpriced, in my opinion. The small, outdoor pool has no shady area and only 1 umbrella. Not great when you've already been in the Texas sun all day. My husband left the room key on the table while swimming with our son and someone took it.
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Employees were friendly.

Pros: When we first arrived, we were given a room on the ground floor, close to the front desk. It was incredibly loud, as we could hear absolutely everything going on in the lobby, so we asked to get a new room. Since we hadn't touched anything in the room, the girl at the front desk got us a new room, and we appreciated that very much.
Cons: The walls were paper-thin, allowing us to hear EVERYTHING going on in the hallway, and loads of people were staying there with their small children, making lots of noise. The refrigerator and a/c were also quite loud. On top of this, there were a few bright light sources throughout the room (bright LED on the smoke detector, lots of light coming in through the bottom of the door, etc), and the thick curtains cannot be closed, so we were stuck with light coming in from the lights in the parking lot and the noise of the highway that's close by the hotel. All of these made it extremely difficult for my wife to sleep. As if that weren't enough, they only have one elevator, and it's extremely slow, which wouldn't be an issue if there were more than one or the hotel wasn't crazy busy. Also, the second night of our stay, our TV would not turn on. I used the remote, hit the power button, nothing. I called the front desk and they said they'd send someone up once they got back from running an errand, but we didn't want that, so we told them to forget about it. I tried unplugging the TV and plugging it back in, and it worked just fine after that. I wonder if that's a common problem for them.
Pros: The facility was clean and our room was spacious. It was very comfortable for an extended visit.
Cons: The problems we had didn't have anything to do with the hotel or staff, but the other tenants. There was a youth basketball team staying the weekend for a tournament. They stayed up late, making noise, yelling, running the halls, even pulled the fire alarm on our 2nd night. In the morning they were in the dining area eating up all the food, cutting in line, and acting in a disrespectful manor. Needless to say, we didn't get to eat the complementary breakfast either morning of our stay.
Pros: Response of staff to issues in our room.
Cons: My wife and I were on a road trip and decided to stay here on a whim. We made our reservation online, arrived and checked in late (around 10pm), and were kindly greeted and assigned a room. We arrived to the room to find the bed made but a bathroom that hadn't been touched. There were dirty towels on the floor, used tissues on the counter, trash in the waste basket, etc. We called the front desk and requested a new room. The lady working the front desk seemed genuinely surprised and upset to hear about the condition of the room and she placed us in a new room immediately. The new room was cleaned and prepared as you would expect. During the night I found out that the toilet wouldn't flush (sigh). I didn't want to wake my wife with a maintenance call so I decided to wait until morning. Based on some of the raving reviews online I was prepared for an amazing breakfast (which was included in the cost of the room by the way), but in reality it was a standard continental hot breakfast which would be very comparable to other hotels. We probably would have enjoyed it even more but the toaster and pancake machines were both broken. Again- not a huge deal; just a little disappointing. After breakfast I stopped by the front desk to share with the manager about our disappointment with the cleanliness of the first room and the broken toilet in the second room. I wanted to give them the opportunity to make the experience right before writing this review. The general manager (Daisy Dees) was attentive, professional and apologetic. She apologized for the inconvenience without trying to give too many excuses. She was concerned that we were discounted to make up for the poor experience. We discussed what percentage discount would be appropriate and she offered to comp our stay at 100% of our cost. I wasn't comfortable with that as we did still stay the night here and other than the aforementioned issues we did find the hotel to be a decent place to stay. So, instead we agreed on another percentage discount that both my wife and I were comfortable with and felt was fair based on our experience. We also acknowledged that mistakes do happen and things can sometimes get missed. Based on the professional response of the management to our concerns I would definitely recommend giving this hotel a try if you are in the area. It's hard to find a perfect place. Sometimes what's even more important is the customer service you receive when a problem is identified.

Cons: - No hanger - No hot breakfast, but has microwave oven to heat frozen omelets. The disposable plates are not made of paper, but foams. I suspected whether they can go to microwave. So I didn't eat any hot food.
Pros: Nice attendance
Pros: Convenient to several sites such as the boardwalk and NASA. Very clean and quiet with small pool and hot tub.
Cons: Hot tub was a little over chemicaled so was slightly irritating to the eyes after a little while. Also pool was a bit cool, but still swimmable.
Pros: Indoor pool and hot tub
Cons: The room smelled like mildew and we were locked out of the room for about 30 minutes, when we went downstairs for the breakfast and then brought the food upstairs, our door wouldn't open. We had to wait for the manager to have a machine to open the door.
Pros: We got a very reasonable price for the area.
Cons: We had no complaints
Location is great. Great value for the money. Rooms were nice and clean.
Pros: Breakfast was great! Lots of options, including waffles and a variety of breads/muffins. Very nice.
Cons: I think the pool hours start too late in the day (10am). My kids would have like to be in the pool much earlier.
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: The A/C was off when we first entered the room. The towels were cheap, had stains, and were as rough as a brillo pad. The breakfast was a couple of stale pieces of bread and some bad coffee. We ate some one morning and never again. Cheaply run hotel.
Don't stay here!!!
Pros: Didn't like much of anything about this place
Cons: Where to start? first the rooms were disgusting. Sheets and towels were stained. The bathrooms were disgusting. Blood stains on the shower curtain and the shower head was so encrusted with grime that we didn't want to shower. Also the staff were rude.
Cons: Pool was cold!
Pros: The king size bed was awesome with plenty fluffy pillows. Breakfast was great as well.
Cons: Pool was cold. But after being in the hot tub for a long time,it was a nice cool down

Cons: Shower tiles and tub had mold. Sink was cracked.
Pros: Mold in tub and shower, overall cleanliness was poor
Cons: See above
Cons: Hotel was okay. Location is good and has restaurants walking distance but due to the location it was very noisy all night. We could hear all of the cars going down the road and kept us back. Door did not shut very well. Does not have breakfast.
This hotel exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Very close to Kemah Boardwalk and very clean!
Cons: No complaints!
Pros: It is very close to Kenah Boardwalk. Walking distance.
Cons: The room was very dirty. Microwave had food splatters, fridge had items in left from previous guest, I had to get clean sheets from front desk because the room had used sheets on, they also had 'bed bug' spray at the front which was alarming.
Pros: That it was 2 walking minutes from our event.
Cons: The room had a sign that it was non-smoking but reeked of smoke and a cig butt was found on table next to bed. Noisy neighbors.
Pros: The location was really close to the Boardwalk!
Cons: The room smelled funny and the restroom was not that clean.
Pros: Nice location. Nice staff.
Cons: The carpet was torn and there were roaches.
The staff was not very friendly. Refused to move us even though there were other non smoking rooms available. I was so sick from the smoke swell the first night we had to check out after one night losing are money for the second and having to pay to stay somewhere else. It pretty much ruined my vacation. Also, the toliet didnt want to work and i was given a plunger to try and fix it my self.
Pros: Location, was very close to the boardwalk
Cons: The bed was a full, not a King and we were given a smoking room. They stated that anytime you book through a travel center and not directly through them you are not given priority.
Pros: The staff was very nice and cordial. The rooms need to be updated and or have Maitenance done to them, but the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The location was great everything was within walking distance.
Cons: No pool, I didn't realize there wasn't one. That was why I got the hotel, just didn't look, assumed all had pools.
Pros: closeness to Kemah Boardwalk
Cons: The room smelled very musty. TV did not work in first room so was moved to another room.
