Pros. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is in an upscale community near the University. Very close to metro and first stop in new metro line to airport. Views were great from club level.
Cons. The hotel is not to walkable to any tourist attractions.
Pros. Great service and amenities; very nice breakfast buffet
Cons. AncI'll are service for conference room use very efficient but expensive...
Pros. Convenient and excellent service for business meetings/conference
Cons. Not sure of value for business conference meeting expenses. Quite high for incidentals....but service was excellent !
Pros. We loved the friendliness of the staff! The hotel lobby is super luxurious and beautiful; the bar is especially stunning and has quite a crowd in the evening time!
Pros. Bathtub was lovely.
Cons. Carpet was threadbare in the room, hard as a rock. Bed was hard and uncomfortable, sheets were rough. The only dinner option in the whole hotel was to eat on the carpet in the middle of the lobby. The windows don't open, no fresh air anywhere. Shower had no space and no light. Couldn't wait to check out, would never stay again or recommend to anyone.
Pros. Habitación amplia y limpia
Cons. En el desayuno hay muchos zumos pero ninguno de fruta natural. Solo hay una piscina dónde tienen qué convivir adultos y niños. El servicio en la piscina es mejorable. Por la noche demà siamo ruido. Para un 5*GL...
Pros. The staff is incredibly attentive and polite.
Cons. What a disappointing stay. The only five stars this hotel can claim are the ones that are printed everywhere by the hotel itself. The lobby and the gym are the only two things worthy of attention. The rooms are small, dark, rundown and begging for a complete renovation. Since the year of built this hotel has not been updated. The heavy and old decor needs to be completely replaced and the rooms require deep cleaning. The beds are hard as a rock and you can hear the mattress springs squick when you turn around. The pillows are uncomfortable and they still use woolen blankets instead of comforters. There are almost no amenities in the room. Not even a spoon or complimentary water. The towels are old a rough on the skin. The showers leeks water everywhere because of its poor design. The phones don't have a directory and they don't provide a phone list [how are you suppose to operate the phone?!?]. The wardrobe opens in the entrance and blocks the way out. There are almost no outlets in the room not even near the desk to the bed. The hotels does not provide any plug adaptor, only for purchase... Can you believe this? The Hotel had just been purchased by Fairmont Group. They are promising significant changes, however I will probably wait to see other customer's feedback before giving this place a try. Room Tip: Ask for an updated room. It makes night and day.
