The staff were all so helpful and eager to please. They really wanted to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Breakfast was very sumptuous. It has a good combination of local and continental dishes. Great location too. Everything is only a walking distance away. Plenty of bars snd restaurants around. I truly appreciate the lemon water at the lobby. After shopping and walking, it is truly a welcome treat. Small treats like this one makes you feel really special. Also speaks of how management thinks of small details that could make your stay really special.
Everything was great.
Location is very convenient close to everything, we walked everywhere and didn’t need metro or bus which were at the doorstep. Staff very friendly and professional including reception and breakfast. Rooftop very nice view. Pretty clean also.
Overcharged us when converting EUR to AUD, more than $400 AUD difference from the exchange rate!Should’ve just charged in EUR. Also I left behind 2 expensive mulberry silk pillowcases and I was not contacted about these at all. I emailed them and got no response. I couldn’t go back there as I boarded a cruise the same day but they should have contacted me or at least replied to my email. Breakfast is not 5 star worthy, very limited choices and the SAME thing every single day. Way too expensive for a Barcelona hotel of that quality. I thought I’d splurge as probably the only time I’ll ever be in Barcelona but definitely not worth the price tag. Please shop around, there’s heaps better than this place.
I am so happy about the location. There are so many good restaurants around the area. Shopping is so convenient. Artisan shops can be found around the Gothic area. All very accessible and can be reach by walking.
Everything was great but would have like to have more lights in the room.
The rooftop bar and pool were fabulous!! The views were amazing! The manager of the bar, Oliver, is a great guy! Very attentive and welcoming and the service from him and his co workers were awesome!!! The front desk staff was always very friendly and helpful! Their breakfast spread put others we have been to to shame! And it was included. All you can eat hot and cold items with a huge array of foods. The service was very good here too. The minibar in the room was "free" although it was water, beer and soda only. The makeup mirror in the bathroom was excellent as you were able to really see what you were doing! (All hotels should have one like this)! The electronic window shades really kept the room dark.
My only complaint was that our room faced the main road and you can hear quite a bit of road noise.
The pool area and bar was very nice for early mornings and a relaxing drink at night. Didn't think we would use this feature but we did and loved it. Wake up early and watch the sunrise as you plan your day!
We loved everything but the bathroom was a little small and had a curtain that separated the sink/dressing area from main room. It was tastefully done but we would prefer a traditional door...
